  1. EEAAO had such a great payoff, such a good movie. Even more so because I was not expecting it at all. Do you have any expectations for those? I think Hellraiser is probably going to be dead on arrival, as for Pinocchio I guess it's a toss up, but I have been that in to his recent movies.
  2. Yeah, I can see that it should work, there was plenty of set up for it, but for some reason it just felt like a jarring shift to me. I don't think the last third was bad, it's just that the connection between it and rest of the movie was not seamless to me, like there should have been something more in that scene. Maybe saying it went downhill was not the correct term, I liked the ending, but because it was disjointed from the first part it didn't have the emotional impact on me.
  3. Seeing as how it didn't swallow the post I will take that as empirical proof that it must be correct!
  4. At one point I will have another playthrough for sure. It's just that I am not one for replays and even when I do so I usually just go for the same thing, a Paladin. This is not exclusive to (c)RPGs, even with builder games I usually take a long break before coming back for another run. Nowadays, sadly, I am taking long breaks playing games at all and I don't know why because I still love playing them. Same with books. It's not like I don't have time either, but I guess one needs energy even for those things. @InsaneCommander Exactly.
  5. Maybe the forum software does not like your taste in anime and when it finds something especially egregious it simply tries to stop it.
  6. The only cheat I always did was to max out the ability score on the PC, why roll a 100 times when you can just edit it the first time.
  7. Three Thousand Years of Longing. The first 2/3 of the film were excellent, but for some reason it went downhill for me in the end. I don't know exactly why...I think that I could not make the jump to her being in love with him or how it unfolded after. Still a good movie all in all.
  8. Even then, the best they keep for themselves. As a kid it was always 50/50 if the bottle had Rakia or Elderberry juice.
  9. If you don't like it you can always use it as paint thinner or disinfectant.
  10. @Zoraptor Wrong thread. Join us, join us, join us.
  11. Hahaha, you call it the same way. Plum Rakia is called Šljivovica/Шљивовица, which I imagine is very similar pronunciation to Śliwowica. In Serbian plum is Šljiva, pronounced the same way as in Polish minus the k.
  12. Of course you mean rakia.
  13. Should have opened this thread first...
  14. Do wonder what the Slavic influence will be.
  15. Wonder why the US doesn't send some freedom Brazil's way... Oh right...
  16. Wouldn't it be hilarious if by the end of it they announce the game is a monthly subscription.
  17. I very much doubt they would use strategic nuclear weapons as there would be no point in those, apart from sending a message. Would they use tactical nuclear weapons? Who knows. If this mobilization doesn't produce results or if there is some escalation towards Russian territory maybe they will.
  18. Rick and Morty new season. Episode 3 was genuinely good and got a good laugh out of me.
  19. Fear is a powerful thing, but if you understand that it's the driving force behind most of the attitudes here, apart from the usual suspects, then it's not so... let's say offensive. You tease. You do understand that most of the diehard Putin followers are the people from the Russian countryside and that military is usually populated by people who are not well off financially.
