UFAW ep 5 is the best one yet. Genuinely laughed a couple of times.

Seems like Frieren at the Funeral is getting an anime, or at least I think it is because whenever they say there will be big news in the next chapter it's an anime announcement.

No clue don't watch her, I was just pocking fun at Russian "elite" emigrating en mass to Serbia. Also I imagine most of the Russians in Serbia have a long term plan of emigrating to some western state. But that should paint you a picture of how much their opinion matches that of the average Russian.

Children of Ruin finished just in time for Children of Memory coming out end of November. I'm looking forward to the conclusion of this series, because while it may not have been anything revolutionary in science fiction genre, it was, at least for me, a breath of fresh air. -
Random video game news... may the dice be with you!

It's a tragic story really. We won the battles of Cer and Kolubara, but then the rest of our neighbors decided to help by gifting us a knife in the back (which was nothing new), so the army went on the great retreat through Albania. A lot of people died from Typhus and the cold, also the Albanian tribes that were picking off any stragglers. Our great western allies waited for us in ships on the shore of Albania (under the threat of Russian empire that if they don't show up to transfer us to Greece they would retreat from the war). From there we were transferred to the island of Corfu where a lot more people died. After they recovered they went back to help the allies. Percentage wise Serbia had the largest losses in WW1. -

First 2 allied victories in the war, against a vastly superior opponent. -

So we play as Serbia, or do we play sitting in trenches? -

What is so stunning regarding that? We were under Ottoman occupation for 500 years prior. -

Finished Children of Time and now on to Children of Ruin. Very much recommended if you like the Foundation Empire and zoology. -

I was a kid when I played this, I don't think I ever understood the games mechanics anywhere near enough. I pretty much learned it by trial and error, pushing buttons until I figured what each did. Although looking at this I think I went overkill with police and firehouses. -

So Cesar 3 and Pharaoh are basically the same game with minor reskins. Go figure, I only ever played Pharaoh. -
750mil is the rumor I saw. Also looking at the purchase history of the company, seems like a certain Chinese company starting with a T is behind them.

https://deadline.com/2022/08/embracer-group-acquires-rights-lord-of-the-rings-and-hobbit-1235095113/ I was not expecting this, or for it to go for so little money.

Dota book 3. More of the same with the epic nob turned to 11. It got pretty convoluted, but I liked it overall.
