    After the first arc the whole show shifts in another direction. Many people, including me, lost interest in it after that.

    Araki Hirohiko (creator of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) appeared in a video presentation at Anime Expo 2022 on July 3rd and showed a new Jolyne illustration.

    I'm afraid that if that happens we won't be looking at their performance on our screen, but in real life. I'm content to wait for them to become old tech and some other unfortunate country to use them. But seeing how things are going, it's not looking too optimistic.

    Ruri Dragon already on a break, does not bode well for the series. Could just be bad luck.

    Most of the IT people moved to Serbia, as they can't get any money in to Russia. As for being locked up, I kind of doubt the goverment cares very much what some civilian thinks.

    New Berserk chapter out. The pacing is out of control.

    Seems like the author of Yu-Gi-Oh! died at sea.

    The biggest talking point right now in Germany, after the 50% reduction in gas deliveries from Russia, is pretty much local politics. Everyone is blaming Merkel for the situation they are currently in and dreading the recession that is happening (while not being willing to accept that the cheap gas is a big reason of their economic prosperity). All of this is compounded by the fact that Scholz is toothless and not at all in control of the goverment.

    God of War Ragnarok is coming to PS4. Color me surprised. They must really be selling the PS5 well, I was really expecting it to be PS5 only.

    Triple glazed windows are where it's at. We have the same **** over here every new years (the regular and Serbian). I don't particularly mind it, by my dog can't stand it so that just compounds the issue...

    I need to watch that one. But I am glad you both agree that Princess Mononoke is da best. I just let the internet form my opinion on that one. Too much effort to figure things out on my own.

    That's a strange thing to say about the best Ghibli movie ever made. --------------------- Gave chapter 1 of Gokurakugai a go. It's a very solid start, nothing new or unique, but what was there was very solid.

    I feel exactly the same way just in reverse. For me Nausicaä could have done with some trimming and the characters didn't grab me. It could be that is because I watched Mononoke a couple of time and before Nausicaä. Plus the music in Princes Mononoke is unrivaled for me.

    Seems netflix bought the rights for The Long Road to War. Pretty interesting documentary around the start of WW1.
