  1. I specifically said trash fights, maybe I should have bolded it.
  2. Well if they were tough they certainly didn't play the same way as in PoE. So it's pretty much down to picking you poison. Though I personally believe that trash fights in BG2 were easier then the ones in PoE.
  3. 1 to 2 weeks from the current one, or that is their plan at least.
  4. Crafting should be like it was in BG2. Hunting down pieces and forging them in to a whole. That was great and it served as a money sink.
  5. Did they not take inspiration from MMOs to appeal to the younger audience?
  6. My condolences.
  7. I just don't see it. I know what it is supposed to do, but it just seems bad to me. I don't think it's a balancing issue either.
  8. Heh, if I knew how to do this I would have been a game designer, but here goes nothing: In order of importance -Combat pacing, trash fights should be trash fights. You should not be required to micro manage so much for them(at all for a matter of fact). It will get tiring fast. -Scrap stamina, bring back healing. -Better AI. -More contrast between characters and the background. -IWD2 inventory. -Attributes need to have much larger impact on the game. -Change the xp system to something that is more finely distributed. Preferably go back to the IE system. -Dial back the numbers on everything. Values should be in the range of the IE games (health, damage, armor, will, etc.) -More ambient sounds This is all I can think off now.
  9. Not a theory but an opinion, my proof are Josh's own post.
  10. @nipsen This is simply not such a game, your druid will have to fight. He will even kill creatures of the forest.
  11. There is something to be said for chance, there is a reason Casinos are so successful. Then at least have the decency to not lie. Say "You are all toxic ****s I can be bothered to read this ****" and be done with it.
  12. They were playing on easy... That was the issue since I came to these forums, I think it's about time he fixes that. For petes sake he sees the guy who made this forum every day...
  13. Because you need something to fill empty areas, and there needs to be pacing in a game for it to be good, ie. for there to be hard encounters you need easy encounters.
  14. That is how trash mobs should play, I don't see a problem here.
  15. But their own devs played like that and rested the same as most of us.
  16. That could have been fixed, by having the rest rng stay the same no matter if you reload. Then you would have to fight and you would still have to risk it again by trying to rest again.
  17. Do it after he makes IWD2!
  18. I agree with this so much, trash fights shouldn't require this much micro managing. There should be a difference between big fights and trash fights.
  19. That is my opinion too, this isn't so much prof, as it is a tool to turn the masses in her favor.
  20. Oh damn, my bad.
  21. Whooosh!
  22. Any prof to show otherwise? This street goes both ways. We are offering our opinions from interactions with Josh. You are just spamming.
  23. An error in your hypothesis is that you are pretty sure that other devs would have done anything more them offer mild objections, which Josh would have needed to squash. I imagine that even though there were disagreements, there was very little opposition.
  24. Agreed, no real hard prof only indirect incrimination, but it's enough for the masses. edit: A way to prove if it's true is to ask the police if evidence has been submitted, Quinn was pretty adamant about it being sent to the police/FBI.
  25. Why not, mind you it doesn't have to be photoshop she could have doctored it in the irc client (or someone could have done it for her) and then just posted it as screen shot. She could even be lying about giving it to the police (FBI?!?), it's enough to use it as a tool to turn the masses around. Mind you this does look like something 4chan would do, so it's either true or it will be really hard to prove otherwise as they are already viewed in a bad light. (So maybe it's not that stupid after all)
