PoE was supposed to be close to IWD2 in regards to combat, at least that was the pitch.

This a disguised call of public outrage (PG-13) and a call to arms. We can not let them take our FREEEDOOOM! My guess would be that with the upcoming release of PoE they are doing some spring cleaning to make this site (PG-13). Though how the rest of the threads in Off-Topic and the Stick of Truth subforum are PG-13 I have no idea. Also I don't think anyone underage will even play PoE. The less fortunate version of events is that some SJW made a complaint and they caved in...

It was the best thread in off-topic that had any staying power on the front page. I mean if it's because kids visit this forum, then how are war/guns/etc. threads allowed. Don't overcomplicate it. Thieving will be available when Obs want it to be (you won't have control over who you want to rob), ie. scripted interactions. As for where/when it was said, it was a while ago in one of Josh's rare Obsidian forum interactions.

There is no pickpocketing, at least not like it was in the IE games. Pickpocketing in PoE will be through scripted interaction.

Finally ordered the CM Nepton 280l (4 nocuta A14 will replace the stock fans for push/pull). Hope to god that pump is not loud (reviews are really bad for AIO coolers).

I saved scummed, period, in the IE games. I do so in most games.

But that's not how you guys described a few post above, I mean we have 6 characters, weapons with 2 types of damage and there won't be that many weapons to chose from (which is terrible in and of it self). So why then do we even need to restrict anything, why waste time on it?

Inability to change weapons during combat will only lead to meta gaming and save scumming. People will just reload an encounter and switch to gear they need.
