I had that ****, down to a second. In 1v1 the point is making them think that you are not rushing or you spam fighters and harass his mothership. In FFA it's easy as pie, you just pull out to the rim and let them fight amongst them self. To this day I regret not recording a match I had against a fellow rusher. Can you imagine a fight between max unit cap fleets, it was glorious. The best thing was, by the time we killed each other we had a fleet of similar size ready for another battle. I think I won in the end because he came at me from below and I managed to turn my capitals in time. The debree field from the battle was so big. Maaaan, I'm really looking forward to this.

Still doesn't change the fact that they discuss the game on others forums in a week more then they do here since the KS. I tend to agree, but as I say bigger games have been toppled for less. It depends on circumstance, but it's not impossible.

So for a fragile thing like a KS, where word of mouth is king, I think it pays to keep your promises. I saw it and the others. How are they any different from the multiple thread the people you call out started? You would be on the chopping block too then. I mean I haven't seen them reply to any of your threads, must mean that you are insulting and oppressing them.

If PoE does well sure, otherwise I doubt it. Should the game fail, the only thing that could possibly pull them out of the ****er is if they by some miracle got their hands on the rights to do KOTOR 3 or Fallout 4(or 5, too lazy to look). Anyways, what you quoted wasn't implying their inability to get funding for the next KS, but getting away with saying that they will communicate with the backers/fans.

The problem is that game never suffered from graphics age, it just lacked new content. I played it a **** ton in multiplayer. I guess if they make a dedicated multiplayer server they can make some decent money. Man I still remember camping in deathmatches and rushing 12 capitals, only bad thing is that people usually just surrendered when they saw what I had.

They are shooting their own foot anyways. When/If the next KS project for Obsidian comes around and they say "we will communicate with you", we will just show then what happened with PoE. Not true, that is just how you chose to take it as. The problem is that anything negative about the game that is pointed out, you guys scream bloody murder about how we are abusing and offending Obs. I mean for ****s sake, some of you white knights even accused Sensuki, the most constructive guy on this forum, of the same thing... Even if by some chance what you say is true, then why would Chris say that communication with the fans/backers is his favorite thing, twice? edit: They chose to communicate, just not on this forum. If the problem is that they do not like it here, then they should change the rules and start giving out bans. This is after all their own forum. Though I think that forum would look pretty one sided and I doubt there would be any worthwhile discussion going on, after all there is only so much you can reply to, "you rock obs", "this game is perfect", "OMG I can wait to play this".

Scrapped the 280l, will try to return it tomorrow. The pump on the thing is god awful, at least as far as the noise is concerned. My next try will probably be Corsair GT 110, if/when it appears in my country. Considering going for the 980gtx, will probably go for the 970gtx as performance is 10% less but the price is 30% less.

PoE was supposed to be close to IWD2 in regards to combat, at least that was the pitch.

You can skip the narrative, you can't skip the combat. So yeah...

Put my Nepton 280l in (repurposed the 2xA15 from the nocuta cooler instead of the stock fans), same temps, same noise, but at least my first pci-express slot is free now.

Ugh, not be the bearer of bad new, but I think that the expansion budget funded this extended development time (original release date was December). So pray PoE makes some quick cash on release.
