  2. This very laptop here is a Sony z-Series with this resolution and size. And its totally useable, i can read all stuff. My parents have said its to small, but that doesn't count ^^. And its just brilliant to watch HD Videos in native resolution. I do not use any screen or font scaling, after all i have chosen the resolution for a reason,
  3. Oh therefore 13,3" is the best size. And with full HD its perfect. Sadly Sony has stopped producing new highend Notebooks in this size (z-Series), and i am not aware of current dual grafic laptops in this size.
  4. If the stutter is originated by temperature that will help, but to know that it would be best to try it out.
  5. Its not sure that it is the throttling, but it is in the range of possible causes. To know for sure you would need to run things like fraps and a cpu speed logger at the same time and align the data to see if there is a reliable connection. The thermal throttling is a feature of current Cpus and a good one too. Forced instant power off on reaching the thermal limit is a much bigger game breaker
  6. The presence or absence of a SSD doesn't matter. What matters is auto throttling near the shut down temperature, or swapping levels of max turbo boost for the cpu as some background process tries to use a second core fully. And most problematic is the inability of PoE to idle with Unity. It has 100% CPU all the time, and if the scene get more intense it will start loosing frames.
  7. Gog has used a small text file (gameinfo) in the root install folder to track the version of the installed patches. If that points to the wrong version the update fails. I am not sure if it is used for the windows version too, as i only have the linux version, but i would expect this. Curent content of gameinfo

And then, even if it all would works i would be interested what PoE would do. As it consumes regardless of anything allways 100% CPU and GPU for 60Hz, where would that lead for more then „two times the work“.
  9. 2 Files? Gog has 3 Downloads for PoE, WM1 and WM2 (for linux and mac) and 5 for Windows, you need all three/ five to get a full game. Install them im in order would be a good idea too.
  10. Nachdem Language Tool jetzt einmal durch ist, vielen Dank dafür Aurelio, und ich nicht gerade nicht länger auf Word starren möchte hab ich eine neue Version (0.9.5) zu Nexus geschickt.
  11. So, der Token Vergleich ist durch. Für die female Texte und den Vergleich ob die Tags da mit denen der Default Texte übereinstimmen hab ich jetzt grad keinen nerv, wers machen will immer gern, die Java Datei dafür ist im Repo. Einfach die globale Variable gender auf 1 stellen, Pfade an die eigene Installation anpassen und laufen lassen. Die Anzahl der Female Texte mit Token hält sich in Grenzen. Gibts noch etwas, das man programmatisch abprüfen könnte?

  15. Hm, also die de Version hat am meisten [] Paare. Polnisch am wenigsten. [Player Name] und [Player Race] scheinen bei den professionellen Übersetzern für Polnisch nicht sonderlich beliebt zu sein. Vielleicht verwendet man aber auch keine Namen bei hoheitlichen Anreden im Polnischen. [specified 0] mögen sie aber auch nicht. Es ein, zwei Hand voll Text für Knoten die ingame nicht dargestellt werden. Aber in allen außer der englischen Version übersetzten Text haben. Irgendwie hat sich bei diesen Beiden was geändert. The affliction is not applied on Node 108, besides the „normal“ function call.   20. Baumeister ist doch ein schöner Begriff. Ich hab grade ein Paar falsche Token entdeckt. data_expansion1/localized/de_patch/text/conversations/px1_02_durgans_battery/px1_02_si_chasm_rescue_redux.stringtable -> Slot 0 muss Specified 0 sein, außer in ID 5 Fehler ist ebenso in Spanisch und Italienisch. *edit* und noch eine Stelle, wo der Token komplett fehlt: ID 94, das sind die Hüften von Specified 0, die eigenen stehen weiter oben.
  21. That is sad. The Moderator Aarik would suggest a full reinstall. Do you have Riva Tuner, MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X installed? If you have and still have crashes it could well be, that the game tries to uses to much memory.
  23. Looks like there are wrongly encoded carrige return symbols. Someone did a mistake while editing this file. All 3 items.stringtable files are affected. Quickfix: Open each of PillarsOfEternity_Data/data/localized/ru/text/game/items.stringtable PillarsOfEternity_Data/data_expansion1/localized/ru/text/game/items.stringtable PillarsOfEternity_Data/data_expansion2/localized/ru/text/game/items.stringtable and search and replace all _x000D_ with nothing (remove).   24. @MobMobMobi Let the gog start script be alone and start the game binary directly, its directly in the game folder. The Wrapper does nothing essential for PoE.
  25. By any chance did you press the change weapon set hotkey while selecting the fox? I am not sure if this bug should be fixed with 3.02 or was only acknowledged.
