No set pieces yet but I did find a legendary that actually had Int as is primary stat so I was able to use it for a little while on my Wizard. Ive been able to incrementally improve my gear from monster drops so I havent had to rely too heavily on the AH. I too prefer to "earn" my gear but Im not above buying something if its a huge upgrade.
My first was also the Commodore 64. Ah the fun I had with:
10 say Hello World
20 goto 10
or something like that.
My first Windows PC was a 75MHz Acer and I got it just before Windows 95 was released. I remember it being a big deal and they gave me a voucher for a free upgrade to be mailed to me. My Windows 3.1 friends were all huddled behind me while it installed, green with envy, lol.
To this day Ive only ever gotten one birdie and Ive played dozens of 18 hole games. Granted for my friends and I golf is just an excuse to get drunk, abuse the golf carts and make fun of each other but you would think the law of probability would have granted me more than one birdie by this point. And it was thiiiiiiis close to being a hole in one. Rolled by the cup by no more than an inch.
I cant speak for the class since Ive only taken one to lvl 13 but I recently grouped with a Barb and dude was an engine of death. He could stand in the poo no problem and then blew my mind by standing through arcane sentry's. I was jealous.
Its interesting to see the evolution of his look wrt his tattoo's. He went from nothing to almost having sleeves. You can even see the diiference from the second picture (with the rocket launcher) to the last picture (right forearm now has tattoo).
Im pretty sure you already know thats not the answer so I wont lecture you.
We also know that nobody is going to randomly come knock on your door and ask you for a date. This means YOU have to be the proactive one and get yourself out there. If drinking and whoring isnt your scene (whats wrong with you man! ) then how about one of the college clubs? Im sure there is a gaming club (PC / console / tabletop) that you could join and be with like minded people. Go visit the campus resource center and see what they have to offer.
And youre not into bar hopping and picking up loose women, right? That pretty much exhausts my reservoir of lonely hearts advice.
You have roomies, what are they doing? Go hang with them?
Eh, I dont know about that. While I agree that there is much less "community" and you do run into a huge pile of tards in LFG I think LFG/LFR is an adequate tool to prevent people from hitting that wall. I mean, I dont have to be your buddy to down bosses. Although I do wish raid finder didnt stick you in those lower difficulty raids. If SWTOR had this tool from the beginning I would probably still be playing.
I seem to have hit a bit of a wall in Inferno. Im stuck in the area where you first meet the Enchantress and spent most of my playtime last night just trying to find a party that wasnt full of failure, AFK-ers or people that quit after the first wipe. I really, really hate the enrage timer. On the bright side Im gearing up in small increments.
This brings a question to mind. Here in the US, to drive a car you need to have a Drivers License. This document certifies that you have passed the test to drive but more importantly has your picture, name and address on it. This effectively serves as most peoples primary form of identification not only for driving but proving your age (for alcohol) or writing/cashing a check...basically everything. In your case you most likely do not have a drivers license (if your country even has such a thing) so what do you guys use for identification? Like when he "pulled you over" what did you show him to prove your identity? Does your country simply use a National identification card that serves a similar purpose as our drivers licences?
Hmm, I set the search criteria to: 1-H, all weapons, Dexterity, MF, (one other choice), gold threshold 100k, and so far I havent seen anything above 750-ish DPS. Maybe Im being too specific in my searches.
I farm the last act of Hell and up to the SK in Inferno. Havent gotten any totally amazing drops but some pretty decent 400-600 DPS weapons for my followers. Recently bought myself a 630-something DPS weapon (around 80k gold) and a kickass ring (90k gold) which has pushed me over 10k DPS. Not amazing but not total crap either.
