I just purchased the WoW season pass so Ill definately be playing D3. Dont care about the always online requirement or server side characters, its just like WoW to me.
I was responding to Deathdealer's above post where he feels its a great idea to hide the "real" ending until weeks down the road and then springing it will rewrite gaming history. My positon is that it is not a good idea as most users will never get to know the "real" ending because they are not forum dwellers. Im not sure what you were responding to initially if not that.
Eh? FO3's ending was never supposed to be some clever mindjob, it just stunk. Those advocating that ME3's ending is the BESTEST SEKRET the world has ever seen are the ones saying this is smart when in fact 95% of the user base will never know of THE SEKRET because they dont visit forums. Besides, who knows how many people even tried the FO3 ending redo.
How would shipping the "real" ending several weeks after the game was released be a smart move? The people that post on forums are a small percentage of the people who purchased the game, so the vast majority of people who purchased the game would have no idea of this and just feel burned.
My daughter has blown through more hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, parakeets and rabbits than I can shake a stick at. I used to just secretly replace them when they died but she got old enough to understand death. Currently have a Yellow Lab thats a big fat fattie and two cats.
It may seems careless but its brilliant in its simplicity. Hes wearing a motorcycle helmet so nobody can describe his appearance and hes driving a vehicle that easily avoids / blends in with traffic, is indistinguishable from another and is easily disposed of. Unless someone tackles him off the bike I think it will be hard to catch him.
Funny you should mention that. Ive noticed several times that after getting my ass handed to me by a boss the first time that the second attempt seems much easier even though I havent changed my strategy at all. Ive often wondered if there is a background counter on bosses that makes the encounter easier with each subsequent attempt. I dont really think its smart enough for that but it sure seems like it.
^Who are you and what have you done with Humanoid?
I love 2.5E, the number crunching, the min/maxing, the restrictions....No, your damn Gnome CANNOT wield a two handed sword, lol.
I dont think nation building is a total fools errand, just highly unlikely to work. But if we get 1 Japan for every 2-3 Afghanistans then I think its worth it.
Having just now figured out how to read Raithe's link (had the same problem as my link, c0cktail in the URL), Ive never heard of this:
"I know that in the US, the IRA were portrayed as heroes while the British forces were monsters. The propaganda machine was well oiled and made sure that so much of the cash used to purchase parts for the car bombs came from these shores."
Perhaps I was too young but I dont ever recall the IRA being lauded as heroes while the British were monsters.
