    Holy ****, if it isn't my most hated sentence on any game forum ever! Why do these come up over and over? How important do you think you are? Unless you evidently have a considerable portion of the community behind you, no one cares! I'm literally sitting here and raging at this self-important, underhanded attempt at extortion. duty_calls.png I just can't help myself. Youre not alone. Many posters on this forum cant help themselves from pushing the rest button either.

    How will that be balanced? Making up an example, lets say the monks fists will be treated as +hit or +damage. When combined with a +hit or +damage weapon, will those stack or only the higher of the two will be in effect or something else?

    So will the monk class be able to channel its "power" through weapons? Like that picture that shows the unarmed monk with flaming fists. If not, isnt the class just a poor mans fighter if he always has to equip some weapon to overcome some type of armor?

    So what this idea represents is consequence free stealth? If the player can stealth by, great. If they get caught, no problems.

    Shes 12 now so she doesnt require constant oversight, Im just ridiculously overprotective. And I realize its not a shield for all hostilities that could befall her but its a tool Id rather have than not have.

    Heh, that is an excellent example. I dont necessarily care about things changing. Sure, I personally like kill experience but Im not married to that mechanic. What I rail against is the assinine concept of "degenerative gameplay" and if I have to work within the confines of such a system I want the playing field to be level.

    Ah, the wonderful benefits of technology. Well until she figures out to either just leave the phone at home or turn it off to work around it (though with people today the former is akin to self-mutilation ). I love technology. If I thought I could get away with it I would have a chip implanted under her skin. Shes fully aware of the app and never fought me on it. She even goes so far to use it to see where I am! And you are absolutely right about going without the phone, I cant remember the last time I saw her without the phone in her pocket and a set of earbuds hanging out of her ear.

    You're still assuming that player skill doesn't play any part in the outcome, which, I'm convinced, is likely not true. But does it really? As currently envisioned there is no missing, so no matter how fractional the damage may be, no matter the player stategy, no matter the gear used, a death by 1000 cuts is still death. Death requires you to "pay" something to get ungimped and damage to health (also unavoidable) requires you to "pay" something to get better. The only thing to keep this from degenerative gameplay is to level the playing field by associating some "cost" to stealth and diplomacy. People keep saying there WILL be some cost but we dont really know that and what could it be? Chugging 6 invisiblitiy potions to stealth your whole party would count but I think Sawyer said something about every class being able to sneak. What would be a good "cost" for diplomacy IYO?

    I'm assuming you mean Android as I've been playing it on the Ipad since release, but no, no ETA as of yet. Has anyone tried using the save cloud features going from a ipad to the pc yet? Does it have this feature like they've stated? Whaaaaaa? I searched the Ipad app store after release and didnt see it. Thanks for the heads up, Ill have to check it out when I get home.

    Being a parent I can understand their position, you never stop worring about your child no matter the age. Hell, Ive installed an app on my daughters phone called "Friend Finder" which allows me to track her with my phone via GPS. Thats right, I want to know within 6 feet where my daugher is at all times. "YOURE A MONSTER GFTED1" you shout? Yes, yes I am. And TBH, as long as all of you are living under your parents roof you should expect a bit of privacy invasion.
