  1. I love the way you bring the pimp hand to silly posts, kgambit. Rostere and Drowsy have massive butthurt over the US so they are going to keep you busy.
  2. Are these rhetorical questions? The trend for PE seems to be to take an existing mechanic and add a disincentive to use it, because degenerative blah blah. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the end result of camping to include: a) not heal you all the way to 100%, b) only allow you to rest on some predetermined interval or c) constantly bombarding you with random encounters every time you try to rest.
  3. That is correct: As Im lawn mowering a map, the last thing I want to do is revisit the far corner 5 times to rest. Oh the hilarity if one of the big donors created a party teleporting amulet that instantly moved you to a campsite and back. Or better, the respawning mooks you guys clamor for out of "realism" would stake out the obvious fixed location camp site and murder you while you sleep. Oh well, theres always the mod community. Is there some other method?
  4. My understanding is that there is no such thing as a non-viable build. Slightly less efficient? Sure. But any build on any "class" is totally doable. I do like defined roles in my classes.
  5. Maybe my mind will be blown but most of the mechanics as described so far sound like a soup sandwich to me. 1) No healing. C'mon man. 2) No resurrection. I guess this is a non factor since we cant die unless there is a TPW, which means reload anyway. 3) No fast travel. 4) Walking everywhere to go heal / rest / regain abilities. See above for good times. 5) No kill xp. 6) All classes can be all things.
  6. I suppose that will give me an excuse to try a different class.
  7. FYI, you can still use an offhand quiver even when using a 2-handed crossbow.
  8. Wait, what is this. The console version allows crafting? Are there a bunch of mats that now drop or can be found in chests? Disregard this, Im dumb. Don't know what I was thinking.
  9. This is awesome. Are their "better" wives to be had? If not, may as well marry her.

  11. "End / side table lamps"
  12. The tumor only affected her ability to read English but not her native language? Kooky. Reminds me of the guy who woke up only able to speak Swedish.
  13. You sound nothing like the voice I made up in my head.
  14. Is this all because you're not getting along with that other teacher? Stiffen that upper lip.
  15. I didn't get to eat lunch today because I was locked in an epic battle with a Cisco wireless access point. Oh, and Cisco customer support can go F themselves.
  16. Doesn't that imply that you'd end up with a collossal list of crap to sift through if you indiscriminately used that "Take All" option? If so, that really sounds annoying... I presume the player could choose to not use that option and instead individually click only what they want.
  17. But wouldn't that fill your inventory with a significant number of damaged or nearly valueless items that you'd have to regularly purge to keep the clutter to a minimum? Nope, we have infinite inventory. That's whats attractive to me about this system, all the mundane crap on the ground will be kinda like white noise, just there, to be scooped up en masse and sold to trick out my prison. Sawyer said that they squashed most value out of sellables but Im counting on brute force attrition, lol. Hopefully it all stacks. Oh, and I could probably use a "sell all" too while were at it.
  18. If you don't mind, what happened to your brother?
  19. Youth is there to be misspent, I wish I could go back. Even though I look younger than I am Ive started developing an impressive grey hair patch on the top of my head like a skunk stripe. Ive also noticed some creeping in at my temples.
  20. HBO is having a free weekend so I caught Ted last night. Pretty hilarious.
  21. Nah, weve got enough of our own oil now that we'll be an exporter soon. If not for stupidly propping up Israel we could just sit back and watch the eventual fireworks.
  22. Had a delicious plate of eggs benedict and hash browns for lunch.
