Don't forget, you don't need to be in melee to charge focus: It does. Hullo. There's one thing I'm curious about. The cipher needs to successfully hit (grazes don't count) his target with the weapon, overcoming Deflection first, for the Soul Whip Psyche attack to take place, right? Yes, though I can't remember if Grazes count or not for Soul Whip. Grazes may only give a proportionally diminished amount of Focus.

I just noticed that Zachery Quinto isn't part of the recurring cast in this series. Bummer, he was excellent in the previous two.

Ive only seen the pilot episode so far so I haven't gotten a good feel if this has staying power. Also watched the 2nd (3rd?) episode of Sleepy Hollow with the sleep demon. Meh, but Ill watch a few more episodes and see what develops.
