You received kill XP for the first few of each species (until you fill up the Beastiary for that creature). Funny that the solution players come up with is to avoid combat when possible.

Interstellar. Pretty good movie that fell apart a little at the end, but time travel always does that. The visuals were awesome and I love the robots.

Well, to be honest, I haven't even pressed the Play button on PoE yet but during the BB (playing on Easy), I was so bad at the combat that I was pretty much experiencing TPW's in the character creation screen. @OP: Theres a god mode you can activate, which is my plan if/when I get around to playing.
