Downloaded HW last night (36 minutes! *shakes fist at Comcast*) and plan on playing over the weekend. Gorgon has me a little nervous over bugs but we'll see how it goes.
The 15% off deal ended a little while ago so its back up to $34.99.
Ive never played the HW series, and I may hate it and immediately rage quit, but if anyone wants to give the MP a whirl then send me a PM.
I know I didn't. Iirc, I had my resting set to something like "rest until fully healed" and sometimes whole days would go by while I rested!
What were some of the timers? I don't remember any instance of not being able to complete something because I took too long.
Im guilty of this. Any kind of countdown mechanic (timer, spirit eater) will usually result in me immediately walking away from the game. Otoh, I also walk away if I encounter a quest bug so I may not be a good example.
Never that many..thats highly likely....remember Gfted1 this is not wealthy America but merely a new RPG from a much loved studio. We need to set realistic expectations

Picked up Homeworld 1 & 2 Remastered for $30. Had a good Metacritic score (93/100) and I think Ive seen you guys/gals talk highly of the series. Is HW2 better than HW1 and do I need to play HW1 to understand HW2? Also, ars technica review: Homeworld Remastered impressions: A refined masterpiece.
Good question. Since Malc mentioned $15 I just assumed they were selling it direct or whatever. I may pick it up if its Steam or Origin but I cant be bothered with another system / store front.
It already has a disincentive. You must use a consumable Camping Supply and you can only carry a specific amount which decreases based on the difficulty level you select.
And Im going to rest spam like crazy.
Ill probably roll a paladin even though there's already one in the game. Then take another tank. After that Ill fill it out with DPS. Maybe a priest? Meh, Ill just take the first five NPC's I come across and I don't usually drop anyone unless a new NPC is clearly better. Or someone goes all Yoshimo on me.
I cant even imagine the logistics involved with vomiting / diarrhea in a plane bathroom. *shudder*
Money trumps D-bags, always.
Didn't do much this weekend. Another super cold day.
That would be a cool idea. I recently found a belt in D3 that: "Chance on hit to create a chaos field that Blinds and Slows enemies inside for 2–4 seconds." and its super fun when it procs.
