I think the Gothic devs should forget about graphics and spend the money on hiring a good writer so G3 wont be the same generic feast of dull repetitive clich

He also sent this to Jags and Eru, the time is 22minutes before we we're supposed to start.

Yeah, and could we please get things that look good this time? And not turquoaise/brown armours that look like a blind crackhead designed them? " WIll G3 feature normalmapping? If it doesnt, NWN2 will pwn it no matter what.

Read a rather interesting notice in the paper this morning, unfortunantly I was unable to find any other english source than Al-Jazeera. This may very well be the first real nail in the coffin of the regime in Iran, a country believed to be the next in line after Iraq.

Ok, we're in the channel now so get yer friggin boo-tay in there.

It's ok, fatwahs went out of fashion in the early 90's anyway... " -
I dont think its either one of them actually. Calling someone a racist doesnt make you a racist, and saying that xenophobia is part of jewish culture isnt stereotyping because its true.

They will simply have to. We've seen what happens when private companies take over state bussiness- everything and anything that isnt judged as "economicly viable" or profitable, gets dropped immediatley and with no concern of the consequences. And thats just one example, modern aggressive economics and humane behaviour are not compatible. Another example would be the water extortion scams being perpetrated by internationa coprorations in south america where people are suddenly forced to pay massive amounts of money for their water as the companies take over previously state-controlled waterworks.

You could also make a very strong argument that medications is not something that should be developed by private corporations and controlled by the market economy. It is simply too important to gamble with. The prime concern of the research and manufacture of medicine is to make drugs that work. As soon as you start mixing economics into it, youre over the line.

Setting a price on a lifesaving drug is immoral and unethical no matter how many clever bussiness arguments you make for the opposite. To let people suffer or even die because they cant pay is downright evil. But medical companies have done it and are doing it still, theyre doing everything they can to prevent the manufacture of cheaper "knock-off" medications for sale in Africa. I remeber, some years ago AstraZeneca made Losec, the only drug of its kind(for ulcers) and so they charged an obscene amount(around90

We'd better play cause I just cancelled on playing PnP with some people from Uni. We're playing american D&D.. man, that system stinks. But atleast now I understand what all those numbers mean in NWN

The decline of isometric perspective.....

First of all, those screens of NWN2 were probably done at the stage where there really is no set view and the engine is just used to try out models and levels. I prefer to havce as much control over the view as possible so that I can choose either a very distant top-down perspective and then zoom in to a close over-the-shoulder to be able to enjoy the level design graphics. It depends on whats happening in-game, for instance, I think the ever-present dungeons are much more enjoyable in 1st or 3rd so I can feel the atmosphere and not just play rat-in-the-maze. Someone has been reading game development books :D -
Ive had digital TV for years and although it isnt the same as HDTV, the only differance I noticed between cheap and expensive cables is that the contacts on the cheap ones break and become glitchy. Just like cheap guitar chords go gaga after a while. But I wonder what the differance between HDTV and the normal 16:9 digital that I have is?

Im just wondering what they mean by "teaching creationism"? I mean, the whole "and on the 6th day god mae man and all the animals and vegetables" would only take like 15min to explain :D OMG! Maybe THATS what theyre after! Theyre just lazy bastards! -

I dont like her, her face shows clear signs of racial degeneration, a depraved lifestyle and unsound mind. This I know, because Physiognomy tells me so. -
When I was a kid I built a primitive flamethrower out of a bottle of mouthwash, gasoline and a lighter. It was great. Some kids thought the old hairspray trick was hot stuff but they had no clue. My invention could turn a sandbox of green plastic toy soldiers into a flaming inferno of death in seconds. But the flamethrower eventually caught fire itself and was completely destroyed, I escaped unharmed but my left glove did not :D

But the adaption is done by natural selections trial & error if a mutation makes a species able to survive better in its enviroment, the mutated individuals will spread as those less fit die off and the mutated reproduce. If it is a bad mutation(like being born blind) the mutated individual will die and its genes will not spread. If you play this scenario over and over again over a million years, it will seem like the species has adapted to its enviroment, even though its just trial&error. -
Chess, Xiangqi, Monopoly and Risk are all examples of boardgames. Its almost always played on a flat surface(a board) that is printed to mark where players can move their pieces etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boardgame

Inthe game or otherwise? Compared to: 'Tag has the ability to touch someone, "tagging" them and making them "it", causing the people around the person tagged to flee in panic to get away from him"
