  1. The old system was very interesting and I liked it a lot but I understand what he says about people not geting it. I was familiar with the system way before I played the game and I was ready for it. A friend if mine, experienced and hardcore crpg player didn't noticed/get it for some time when he started playing the game (he was not followin development as I did etc) untill I mentioned it. Nontheless, I'm interested in seeing the inury system and the new class per-rest resource mechanic as a means to rest.
  2. At this point is 31% AD&D style, 60% 3rd edition D&D, 9% other.
  3. Translation from a language to another is not that simple. It's easy to translate menus and buttons but scripted text and dialogues can't be "just translated". They must be "turned" into Italian (and this goes for every other language of course). And I believe a fantasy game set in renaissance-esque period or with a sci-fi theme has terms and words not everyone is familiar with. That said, according to our fellow Italians in here, Pillars 1 had an excellent Italian translation so Obsidian all they have to is hire the same person(s). But I can understand the difficulties of localization.
  4. Btw I put a link to your thread and to your's thread's link in the "Known Information" thread
  5. Updated OP with link to Q&A video in text form from kirottu's thread! Awsome job! (The original thread: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/91394-twitch-qa-in-old-skool-text-form/)
  6. Vote for your multiclass style preference at Josh Sawyer's official twitter account https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/826978554973859840
  7. He had recorded a video that he intended to upload sometime this week.
  8. Game will have a "choose how Pillars 1 played" feature if you don't have a save to import (or you don't want to import it). Confirmed by Sawyer.
  9. Pretty sure they got lots of stuff to show (I mean wtf were they been working on for a year??) but they're gonna show them bit by bit throughout the month to pump up the hype.
  10. I'm 99,99% certain this will be a "NO" but you can ask this question to the Q&A today I suppose.
  11. It would be nice to see that as an option. You can do it in PoE by taking a screenshot, pasting it into an image processing program .... Having it as a one button option in game would be nice. There aren't enough portraits to cover the majority of appearances you can give to your characters. Yeah. Many games have done this. D:OS2 is going full character face shots this time. Wasteland 2 had that option of either screenshot or drawn portrait. Some other thing I'd like to see, since they are going full portraits is make it easier to import custom ones. Like just upload them and edit them instantly than doing that size processing and naming in a picture editid program.
  12. Do we ask our questions during the stream? Anyways, here's some of mine: Will we still have the QoL feature Follow Selected? (I actually refunded, on Steam, Tyranny because this was missing) Will the formula for spotting hidden objects remain the same as PoE1? I can deal with it, if so, but I found it awkward at best. Will the main attributes still work mostly the same as PoE1? I found the attribute system is top notch, rational, and makes a lot of sense [especially for the setting]. Absolutely love it and hate for it to morph into something unrecognizable from the first game. Via twitter or during streaming. Also in Fig comments. You should say "it's a question for the stream" I guess. At least that's how others did it
  13. It's true that most stretch goals don't look that fancy epsecially compared to the Pillars 1 ones but peple should keep in mind most of the thing they'd want or went as stretch golas in Pillars 1 are already features of the full before-crowdfunding game. So huge game, 11 classes, bacjgrounds, multiclassing, new kind of stonghold etc are part of the game from the start and they'd be included even if the campaign was a failure.
  14. That's why the game should move away from hand-drawn portraits and move to facial in-game shots. AFter all the new engine allows for great character models. That said, though, I prefer portraits for all NPCs that some. Even if it's watercolor
  15. Updated original post about multiclassing with L4wlight's post in the multiclassing thread.
  16. No need for speculation. Sawyer confirmed we start at level 1 and companions are around level of pc the time we meet them.
  17. NPC portraits is super great. It was one of may main complains for Pillars 1. Hope the stretch goal is reached.
  18. Italians go back the game now and help us get the NPC portraits! Hope you're as many as you imply here
  19. I believe it's pretty ovious Obs isn't goind to do any of that backwards stuff. I can't see why IE purists insist...
  20. Done! I tried to find the info about system requirements that PrimeJunta linked too, but I got lost in the posts :/
  21. I am willing to of course, it's just that the links so far are from the fig forums and when you click them it takes you to the top of the discussion, so one must navigate lienes and lines of posts to find it. Also, about copy-paste posts (which is better imo because one can see directly the information) they take up space and I wanted the OP to have just easy links so one can see the title, click the link and voi-la. If I find a way to do it as to be easy I'll definately place info from posts directly to the OP. It might be a way but I'm not familiar with this advanced technological stuff If you know how to do it and you're willing to show I'd appreciate it!
  22. Updated the OP with a twitter link about live streaming Q&A for Feb. 1st.
