Didn't backed yet 'cause I only have like 20 euros in my account lol. Maybe sometime in the coming days I can drop some 10 more and get the basic pack So, they need 1.1 million to localize in French and German and add multiclassing, eh? Meh, tbh, especially the localization. Hope they reach the 1.1 mil threshold and add some interesting stretch goals (longer game, maps or whatever interesting stuff they can come up with because localizations isn't something to get excited about).

Same for me. I played PoE once with the 3 companions you mention and the other two were Durance and one elf created by me. I didn't play White March expansion. I hope this doesn't affect the plot in PoE2 Normally it won't much but try it if you get the chance. I only finished it a couple of weeks ago and I'm telling you it's soooooooo worth it! It's like all the things that didn't end that good in the vanilla development fixed and placed in a, quite lengthy, side story (which also connects to the main plot and the world lore). Pity that I always play IE games once. I like to write my own history once. I hope this time expansions will be a sequel and not and ingame adding content. First question I'll ask to developers I do play them only once too. I just loaded the pre-end game save (made automatically by the game), whent to White March to finish it, then finished the new Caed Nua content that came with the expansion too and I just re-run the end dunegon which was a morning stroll since I was too high for it and choose the "leave it as it is" option when I was asked by the game (it gives you an option to play it as "high level" too, if you want the challenge - same with the White March content). If money is not a problem for you, I highly recomend you try the expansion since you don't need to replay the game from start.

The only thing I like about crowdfunding is that I get to buy the games cheaper than when they are released. Other than that, I don't feel proud or anything since I didn't do much other than buying a game, especially if there is no way to know for sure that they really need the money or they just don't want to risk their own. Also, crowdfunding means, in an extent, whiny demanding backers get to rant for this and that, sometimes forcing devs to make things to just please them. I'd rather play the game as the developers envisioned it without external fan pressure.

At times like these I wonder: did the devs planned this from the start or thought about it just recently? Fun thing is, the statue of the Endless Paths was a idea their artists had when they were running the 1st kickstarter because he thaought it was cool. The statue wasn't even in the initial planning of the story or whatever - they just kept it afterwards because they liked it

I'm sure they will but I woundn't like the feel that the Watcher was a wild orlan barbarian woman and now, somehow, is nature godlike wizard man Of course I might be over it when the game comes out (especially if I *really* want to play as someone else with the new mechanics) but at the time I can't think of it

Well, it won't be releasing tomorrow. You should build one, and do a run through of PoE1/TWM to prepare for it. I know I have a few plythroughs planned. A couple to finish up, and a couple to start fresh. Thing is, I never do second playthroughs of good rpgs. Reason is the game is so well in roleplay choices/dialogues I end up doing the same things again (because I relate much with my character and their choices). So I guess I'm stuck with my Wild Orlan female barbarian from the Living Lands

Everything looks and sounds great so far. The only downside - a personal one - is that I'll get to play with the same character again (I suppose the game will let you build a new one, but it won't feel nice to me if suddenly the Watcher is of different race, sex, class, background and culture); I'd really like to play as melee wizard or cipher this time around...
