  1. Yes, hence the ... "get your choice, or all."
  2. Really, the exasperated Jewish professor schtick ... When you say 'logical', that means you're advocating.
  3. Not in a cavern, but you do get your choice, or all, to build on the coast, or way up in the mountains, or lakeside. Cold, northwestern beachfront property ... or central mountains, with even more snow ... breezy lakeview atop a cliff ... and one other I'm forgetting.
  4. Tim Robbins, Cleese, Rooney ... I think I would like to see this. Have not, before.
  5. Befuddled minds, great-cat druids, Dyrwoodans with hobbies ... all of these groups face an imminent sunset to their mortal existence. My dark paladin ... who has yet to reveal a moniker, grandiosely fear-inducing though it must surely be ... is on the precipice of laying waste to the Aedyr Empire. Bleak Walking has never been more ominous on the wind. His magnificence is rumored to be death godlike, both in race and intent. Night-blue plate armor protects his darkness from pitiful piercing attempts, wrapped in inextinguishable Flames of Devotion. From a distance, cowering foes are beheaded, then crushed under the massive weight of an enchanted poleaxe. Up close and so personal as to smell the leather and blood in their final act, whimpering fools are ended by a double-bladed sabre. Disposition is inexplicably, equally Cruel and Rational, except in the appearance of Sworn Enemy great-cat druids, wherein an Aggressive bent lasts exactly as long as the life of the druid. Sleep, now, monarchy to the Aedyr ... dream the last dream before the sun shines its last ...
  6. Ah, thread was pruned just moved. Damn. My dark paladin would also like to know the effects of stacking abilities--even while his lordship has no plans to increase the roster--since the potential exists for a battlefield conscription of an equally-powerful female godlike dark paladin to aid in laying utter waste to the Aedyr Empire.
  7. Monte's call to the ether was heard, apparently. Edit: woops, uh, new game will be The Last of Us: Remastered July 29.
  8. A wall-climbing mechanic, with the ability to pull guards by their junk off the ledge to their death ... I'm sold.
  9. I know, I need to ask the Odd Questions thread why the human tendency is toward stupidly childish.
  10. I thought maybe that train simulator thing would be fun. The user reviews are gnarly, though. "I have one thousand hours, this game sucks."
  11. Everything was fine until the Cal bear baited the stubborn South African romance rhino. Now the hyenas are squabbling, again.
  12. mmm, the Blue Palace waaaayy back there in that boss draw distance.
  13. My dark paladin will require the service and like-mind of a fighter, dual-wielding alongside a rogue in black. The fourth member is the slight form of a godlike wizardess. Uncanny similarities to Lord Soth, Snake Eyes, Black Widow, and Gal Gadot are entirely intentional.
  14. I haven't either. Touchdowns seem more glorious than homeruns, to me for some reason. Tony's memorial is tonight at Petco. Pretty amazing turnout, according to the news. Starts at 7:19pm ... nineteen minutes from now.
  15. Cool! I hope that proto-human Prometheus alien is gone.
  16. Evidently the CW gave out copies of the pilot to press at the Long Beach Comic Expo almost a month ago. http://instagram.com/p/ow_ab7iPdr/
  17. The 'right' to play games. Must be similar to the 'right' to drive a vehicle.
  18. I cannot express the sadness that image elicits. And right after a bit of renewed faith following E3. Son of a jesus sausage pizza ... *sigh*
  19. 749 hours is my current Skyrim total. I bet I could match it with Eternity. Well ... once the expansions come out.
  20. How about a bet ... if USA beats Germany tomorrow, you end the gripe. If Germany wins, I'll pretend to be less annoyed with such a baseless complaint.
  21. All of these math-based processes and terminology are scaring my right-brain. I hope there's a bit more comprehensible path--one that allows a ramp up to the complexity. Anyway, love it, thanks for the update.
  22. Huh, I have two uncles that live (or lived--haven't seen or heard from them in decades) in Ames and Des Moines. My father and those two brothers grew up in St. Louis, I remember driving out there to see the grandparents and the humid heat in Kansas was like a blazing wet blanket from Florida. Not that I've ever been there, thank god.
  23. Spare the school kids ... I'll do it. I'll drive up to the studio and put some eyes on this situation, then report back. It's no trouble, really, I can be back in time for a bridge game and gin and tonics.
  24. Yep, nope, still a noodle. A soft-off. Short, shriveled, and to the left. Doesn't make sense. I'm normally an alacritous collector of things that are fun and collectible. If only comic book publishers would sponsor the equivalent of Steam sales. God, imagine.
  25. I love visiting old Spanish missions. The first-ever one in California is San Diego de Alcala. One of these days, I'll travel up the coast trail to see the ones in central and northern CA.
