  1. Pity the pitiable, not the insistent and insane. Normally I can ignore it, but I think I may have had a bit of undigested beef or a fragment of underdone potato.
  2. Because there is no question. Please return there and keep asking it forever.
  3. Oh, yeah, no, totally, Obsidian pays their people by the hour ... which kinda sucks for the company, since the minimum wage is soon to rise. I don't know about you guys, but I've seen the third-world sweat-shop where Obsidian sews their garments and doo-dads ... it is literally blackened with soot, windowless and cramped like a closet. When one worker finishes a design, they have to clock-out and stay at their station until the foreman comes in with more penciled instructions from the writing staff huddled in the basement. Pretty sure that's how it works, anyway.
  4. Hmm, yeah, I like the idea of static attributes, except improved only through the use of magic armor or rings or items. It would put a premium on finding wearable stuff.
  5. I don't know, they have some swank, pricey glass on their artist's gallery page. Probably not super dog-friendly for an entryway centerpiece, however. That's weird, I buzzed my noggin, too. Way too sticky and hot already to have a hair helmet.
  6. He's always there, fighting for freedom over land and air! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EX_9jKFpQKM
  7. I just had the best idea ever. I was checking up on The Golf Club--which is still in Early Access, version 0.90, and pretty well-reviewed--and I thought, the humidity has been terrible this weekend ... but then I also remembered how much I enjoyed the N64 golf game, Waialae Country Club, set in Hawaii, and then it hit me: RECREATE WAIALAE HOLE FOR HOLE with the custom course creator in The Golf Club! In luxurious 1080p, compared to the 64-bit Nintendo game. Oh, man, I'm pumped, now. And something else that was cool--finally, the recommended PC requirements list a 660 or 7850 2GB for GPUs.
  8. I take it back, someone did notice.
  9. I can't think of any more infamous last words than, 'she were extreme attractive'. Except maybe, 'no one can see us'.
  10. God, what a likeable dude. "I've never had the passion for movies and television that I have for video games." Yeah, Freddie!
  11. Hide the helmet ... erm, no romance allowed.
  12. A noogie and a fart, simultaneously ... Otiluke's Resilient Fartoogie Sphere. Gonna make a thread for this spell, maybe it'll get noticed and implemented.
  13. I want to say bramance, but I can see why that might be offensive to some.
  14. Well, there's nothing like being sold-out to make me want it more. Which is something I never thought I'd say about a Wii U console, with pitiable sales compared to PS and XB ... until now. No news outlets seem to have noticed yet: the Nintendo Wii U Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition console bundle is unavailable, sold-out online and in-stores across retailers in the US. Right when I want one, of course, but it's cool, if this means Nintendo is about to crawl back to prominence.
  15. Really, you searched for this topic but went balls out starting the four-hundred thousandth romance letter.
  16. Huh, two in two days, after six weeks of relief. Speaking of number two, I haven't had relief from the itchy and scratchy show back there for a lot longer than six weeks ... I'm not sure why, but it may have had something to do with romance.
  17. Lee Greenwood's anthem trumps Born in the USA, anyway, god or no god.
  18. Barnes is okay, but that Noble is a vindictive pr**k. Stupid chain store. Ready Player One nowhere on the shelves. Stupid in-store search kiosk says it's in the Fiction/Literature section. No, it isn't, neither is it anywhere else. Stymie this, you stupid bookstore. Where's the Dewey decimal system when I need it.
  19. The stoic orange traffic cones ... "hey, watch out, there's mud here." I love that OP music video ... second to nada. Back to back world war champs!
  20. Getting it today. I even have a gift card, so, free book for me. Gary Gygax? I must read this.
  21. Food and geology are the best reasons to travel, I think. Looks like southern hospitality includes Sunday closing time of whenever-o'clock.
  22. Pretty sure she has a beholder tattoo. Gonna read some comic books, watch A Capitol Fourth on PBS, and then imagine and hope that all the angry white people who turned away the tired, poor, huddled masses of immigrant women and children never have to go through such an awful experience themselves.
  23. Please let it be a feudal-Japan role-playing game sandbox with ninja vs. samurai vs. bloodthirsty snake dragons vs. vampiric monkeys.
