  1. That house, it's sinking--it's not her fault. It's not her fault. I understand that's a real danger in Florida. So is it like Heroes, the TV show. Normal humans become empowered, accidentally. I seem to get Chosen every time I play a role-playing game. Edit: Wait, hold the phone, I see my favorite lotus blossum femme fatale from Newegg on the back page of that video. Joanne and her new gaming computer ... I must watch that. Double Edit: It's gone now. Random selections. Here she is. Triple Edit: This one's even better. Hot girl. Baseball bat. Laptop.
  2. Are we guessing the initial, officially announced date, or the actual date of release ... just in case of delay.
  3. oh my, what ... Reese's Peanut Butter Cups-flavored creme Oreo cookies. Yes. YES.
  4. Walked in to the men's fragrance counter at Macy's, like a manly man in need of manly fragrance, since the Kenneth Cole has spritzed its last, and picked up a pump of Bleu de Chanel. I know chicks are supposed to buy for their dudes, and women can be exceptionally appealing in all sorts of circumstances, but relationships longer than this sentence are dangerous, expensive, and shallow. Haven't opened it, yet.
  5. Oh man, my accent-listening card is revoked. I said I thought those two filmmaker guys were from Oz, and, of course they're from the UK, working in London. I'll show myself out. But not before Funny Things time. Remember Little Golden Books? So does artist Joey Spiotto. Okay, last edit. I picked up this one.
  6. Something called Boulevard Brewing Double-Wide India Pale Ale: "Relax, it's twister-proof." Based in Kansas City, they're being ironic about tornadoes, not the cork sealing the big 750ml bottle. I'm seeing this more, and more ... beer in wine bottles with corks. Actually, a pretty nice flavor. Really clean finish, medium hoppy, golden caramel color. Quite drinkable.
  7. Cool, a big head avatar to match my own grandiose, perpetually self-important, unstoppable entitlement complex as a video game project backer.
  8. PALADIN OF SLAUGHTER The only art character I recognize there, is Wulfgar, the "barbarian fighter," from Salvatore's original Forgotten Realms books. Crazy how some artists are still to this day, instantly recognizable, Elmore and Caldwell. Jeff Easley was the other period master, and Keith Parkinson, god rest him.
  9. The corgi hacker dog? Those are indeed forces I do not understand.
  10. Hardware doctors would say your PC suffers from digital hypochondriasis. It's a common problem, generally improved just by talking about it.
  11. Water actually fell from the sky, today. I'm told it's a phenomenon that does occur on this planet. A damp, cool Saturday, after months of sun--thank god, or whichever Saint sent the stormclouds north from Mexico.
  12. How cool is that cork pad, plate ... table, pallet, thing ...
  13. Getting close to a new episode, Episode VI: Return of the Cherry Pie. Is that too graphic.
  14. Oh, okay, well I'm no Middle-earth scholar, but, I literally cannot be bothered by any of LOTR film adjustments/additions/aberrations. Thirty years ago, when I first pictured Gondor in my mind, and now to see it onscreen match almost perfectly ... it goes a long way toward forgiving the overall interpretation. Which is the same attitude I'm reserving for the new Shadow of Mordor game featuring a named character from the Silmarillion. Anyway, movies, Polygon reported Guardians to be the "chili cheese fry" of Marvel's cinematic universe ... so, of course, since I love all three of those things, plus green-skinned females, it's a must-watch. "It won't nourish you, and you won't be able to eat it forever." I bet I could eat chili cheese fries forever.
  15. It's becoming a trend. This year, Peter Jackson cosplayed an evil jester, of some sort, traversing the con, incognito. IncongnitoTM
  16. Of the "evil" reputation types, only Cruel seems unequivocal ... the other two, Aggressive and Deceptive, could be interpreted differently, or less than evil. For my paladin, I'd like to see how far Cruel and Rational intertwine. Once in a while, make the Passionate choice, since, of course, he has a harem to satisfy.
  17. Cool, that is exciting. No reason not to have the power to push more pixels than the sun has nuclear atoms.
  18. What, you're just playing, right. The girls definitely get their due, I can think of three mad, badass chicks off the top of my head, Eowyn, Arwen, Galadriel. Tauriel is a welcome addition, not a retcon. Retroactive continuity in LOTR is unpossible since it isn't ongoing serial storytelling. All six movies are essentially personal opinions, no reason to be injured by them. No canon were harmed in the making thereof.
  19. Death godlike paladin will be my first play-through. I expect NPC resistance, but more because of his master plan to obliterate and supplant the Aedyr Empire. And cat-druids.
  20. Not just a Deadpool movie, what they should do, is a whole big anti-Avengers Thunderbolts blockbuster. I mean literally busting city blocks with Red Hulk.
  21. Some mad editing skillz for a couple o' Aussies, I think. Some of the costumes from last week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1fAZxSkfRo
  22. I don't know, but I really like the kinetic response. When someone yells we're all about to be killed to death ... seems silly to stand around, thinking of something to say. Action, man!
  23. Not bad, twice as long as IGN, about half as entertaining, which may be due to my preference for female voices. Josh seems a little less engaged ... I bet multiple demos can be tiresome. Wonder if we'll see some magic before beta.
  24. Yeah, of course, nothing like that, the "light" saber is as much a Force weapon as it is physics-based. The Force is required to interact with and excite anti-photons emitted from the hilt 100cm to a micro-antimirror, held in place by reflection. In the hands of a non-Jedi, the weapon is blank, and dark, not unlike a flashlight without batteries. Use of the Force, however, enables the anti-photon extenuation to split real matter particles. I just made that all up.
