I tried to use the Sawbones ability from the Bone Setter's Torc to avoid injuries from Belranga's attack but it didn't seem to work. Has anybody else tried that? I run a heavily modded game so I'm hesitant to report this as a bug without double-checking. What are your main sources of resistance to Resolve afflictions (excluding food, since Shark Soup is the everybody's main meal against Belranga)?

v3.0.2 Patch Notes

I think a guy said in another thread that random encounters in Neketaka have been working for him since 3.0? Are we sure it’s still an issue? -
v3.0.2 Patch Notes

Guess this is just meant as a hotfix for the two most vexing issues while they finalize work on 3.1. Hopefully we'll see 3.2 too before 4.0 lands with The Forgotten Sanctum (if the plan is to release the latter mid-December, there should be enough room for 3.3) -
I don't think there's a lot of official information out about The Forgotten Sanctum but it is widely assumed to be a very high-level expansion (should it follow the same pattern as Beast of Winter and SSS, it will probably be geared toward level 18-20 parties.) I doubt it'll add much content to the first 20 hours of the game. Then again, as mentioned, we don't exactly have a lot of official information about that.

If that’s what the design team decide, I can get behind it. My concern is that these keywords may merely have been forgotten (some abilities already benefit from the talents but don’t list the keyword in the tooltip, for example; that’s clearly an oversight.). I figured I’d bring this up just in case.

BDD, ST, and Ancestor’s Memory already had quite a bit of spotlight in another thread. My opinion was, and still is, that they should be left untouched: They form a high-level combo that requires a lot of meta knowledge and a specific party composition with specific spell/power picks. It’s not something that can accidentally trivialize your game as it can only happen if you know about it and go out of your way to make it happen. Shroud has a 1% proc chance, so nerfing it would border on impossible (and be frankly ridiculous.)

If you use the combo with Boring Death's Door, you can take down anything with enough time and patience. You willfully make yourself immortal. Complaining that you win the fight afterward just doesn't make too much sense. It also wouldn't make a lot of sense for a giant spider to be able to cast Arcane Dampener, IMHO—though hopefully future mega bosses will include casters.

A regular, non-enchanted war bow in Deadfire has a base damage of 13-19. Unique war bows (Veilpiercer, Saint Omaku's Mercy), on the other hand, have a base damage of 9-13. This seems pretty odd and counter intuitive, as a regular bow has the potential to deal more damage than a unique, enchanted one. Is this intended?
