  1. Let’s hear it for new caster passives! But more importantly, let’s hear it for the baleful version of Salvation of Time (Damnation of Time?) that extends debuff durations on enemies!
  2. The Forgotten Sanctum’s release is approaching. If we want to see these subclasses, now’s the time to say it!
  3. I tried to use the Sawbones ability from the Bone Setter's Torc to avoid injuries from Belranga's attack but it didn't seem to work. Has anybody else tried that? I run a heavily modded game so I'm hesitant to report this as a bug without double-checking. What are your main sources of resistance to Resolve afflictions (excluding food, since Shark Soup is the everybody's main meal against Belranga)?
  4. If they released 3.1 this week along with the megaboss, that’d be roughly aligned with the schedule. We would still end up slightly delayed on the rest, likely, but the schedule itself was an FYI more than commitment anyway.
  5. Does anybody know the stats for Reaping Knives? They deal raw damage and just might be the best source of it (though of course they are a late-game weapon that requires having a Cipher in the party, so no solo play.)
  6. I think a guy said in another thread that random encounters in Neketaka have been working for him since 3.0? Are we sure it’s still an issue?
  7. Guess this is just meant as a hotfix for the two most vexing issues while they finalize work on 3.1. Hopefully we'll see 3.2 too before 4.0 lands with The Forgotten Sanctum (if the plan is to release the latter mid-December, there should be enough room for 3.3)
  8. Subbing. For saves I always upload to Dropbox and post a download link here.
  9. I don't think there's a lot of official information out about The Forgotten Sanctum but it is widely assumed to be a very high-level expansion (should it follow the same pattern as Beast of Winter and SSS, it will probably be geared toward level 18-20 parties.) I doubt it'll add much content to the first 20 hours of the game. Then again, as mentioned, we don't exactly have a lot of official information about that.
  10. That's fairly reductive. The general idea of the mod is to make enemies scale higher than you, so that the game gets progressively harder the higher your level. The mod's thread offers a better explanation in the OP.
  11. There’s one called Higher is Always Harder, also on Nexus. I plan to try that one for my next play through.
  12. If that’s what the design team decide, I can get behind it. My concern is that these keywords may merely have been forgotten (some abilities already benefit from the talents but don’t list the keyword in the tooltip, for example; that’s clearly an oversight.). I figured I’d bring this up just in case.
  13. BDD, ST, and Ancestor’s Memory already had quite a bit of spotlight in another thread. My opinion was, and still is, that they should be left untouched: They form a high-level combo that requires a lot of meta knowledge and a specific party composition with specific spell/power picks. It’s not something that can accidentally trivialize your game as it can only happen if you know about it and go out of your way to make it happen. Shroud has a 1% proc chance, so nerfing it would border on impossible (and be frankly ridiculous.)
  14. If you use the combo with Boring Death's Door, you can take down anything with enough time and patience. You willfully make yourself immortal. Complaining that you win the fight afterward just doesn't make too much sense. It also wouldn't make a lot of sense for a giant spider to be able to cast Arcane Dampener, IMHO—though hopefully future mega bosses will include casters.
  15. A regular, non-enchanted war bow in Deadfire has a base damage of 13-19. Unique war bows (Veilpiercer, Saint Omaku's Mercy), on the other hand, have a base damage of 9-13. This seems pretty odd and counter intuitive, as a regular bow has the potential to deal more damage than a unique, enchanted one. Is this intended?
  16. So let me get this straight: You deliberately chose to execute the most powerful combo in the game—which by the way requires meta-knowledge and a specific combination of class and equipment—then complain that it was too good? You sure went out of your way just to displease yourself
  17. Doesn’t Cobra Strike deal raw damage, though? I’m going by memory but, if it does, keywording it wouldn’t make a difference talent-wise (it could PL-wise though, of course.)
  18. Why are you drawing more attention to that? The patching cycle isn’t over yet, Boeroer
  19. I'm told the Rogue's ability Toxic Strike is missing the elemental keyword. Could be either Acid or Poison, depending on which one is deemed the most appropriate.
  20. To be fair, I also live in Europe and my CE was delivered unscathed and in perfect conditions. When shipping items, damage can happen. If you reach out to them at support@obsidian.net, I'm sure they'll arrange for your damaged goods to be replaced.
