Parties in Cities
Well, I think that's entirely up for debate. Maybe they could do work for factions you're in a leadership (or management) position of?

project eternity-pen and paper?
I don't know if that's wishful thinking but that sounds cool.

Parties in Cities
There's 2 ideas here and they shouldn't be confused. I like single-party member quests in cities, which show off their own abilities. However, since it might be possible that the number of recruited members is higher than you can take in your party at any given time (or, "camp members" as was suggested in another thread) And these I wouldn't mind "sending away on a task" the latter one is what I talking about in the post you referenced.

Overkills and loot destruction
no damage on magic items there, problem solved. It kind of makes items feel less special if they can be damaged, so beyond a certain level of magic, I don't expect wear.

Based on info in the latest Update video...
rangers usually have a small amount of magic

Spell system
BG2 might be a great spellcaster game, but if you don't like magic or wish low-key magic, you're going to have a bad time. I didn't enjoy the overpowered nature of magic users. (especially on higher levels)

Small suggestions. Easily implemented ideas, quickfire thoughts.
Warcraft 3's chain lightning was a nice spell, would that be good?

Parties in Cities
That's a really nice idea, having a few default tasks for characters who've joined you but aren't in your current party to do. Nothing to absurd, but something which is decently useful, and where you can find them fairly easily, without having the idea that they'll be waiting around for you while doing nothing at the copper coronet.

Enemy Activity besides bashing you in the face
I prefer interactive story telling to exposition dialogue most of the time. One of those games which I thought had a great visual narrative was Riven, that game told you so much without speaking a word. (save at some key parts) You'd be able to deduce Gehn was a megalomaniacal bastard simply from the temple he build, and the glass panes showing his worship. Or a chair with buttons which allowed him to sacrifice people he didn't like to the local wildlife. (from an elevated position as behoves a lord or a god.) that said, a little exposition is perfectly fine, especially as the alternative is ever silent and professional guards.

Update #39: Non-Core Classes, Cooldowns, Attack Resolution, Damage vs. Armor and a Tileset!
I would say "corridor hell" again, but the giant disclaimer saying it's a work in progress means I need to shut up Good update, but could you improve the audio for the next one a little? I had to max out my sound +clear all ambient noise to hear it well. I am now also certain I will be adding a cipher to my party, and a chanter, they both sound awesome. I'm wondering about tactics using the ranger, like keeping the pet out of combat and using the shared health/stamina just to have a larger pool for the ranger. curious to see if that would work.

Mali Civil War and the Western Intervention
French Foreign Legion, not a peacemaker. And quite frankly you want those guys to be the sociopaths they are, that's what makes them such a strong military force. They're not there to make friends or do nation-building, they're there to fight "bad guys"

Meanwhile in Palestine
Don't think for a second that the other surrounding nations aren't using Palestine as a playball in their politics. they too could have done more to help solve the local conflict. However, neither Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Syria nor Egypt have given significant options for accepting Palestinians. In fact in Lebanon they have a fairly sordid history in dealing with Palestinian refugees. So yeah, there's more players, and all of them seem stuck in popular politics and non of them (including Fatah, Hamas and Israel) are doing enough.

Dishonored-inspired Stealth and Retreat Mechanics
I think a fairly small amount of mechanics can still lead to fairly deep gameplay. But I already made that argument in another thread.

Degenerate Gameplay
or just assume that's how the player wants to play the game and narrow his path to mostly combat encounters.

Mali Civil War and the Western Intervention
I always find it funny when people talk about Sharia law like it's so foreign. Sharia law is basically Leviticus from the bible.
