I thoroughly enjoyed The Dark Knight, I just like the Tim Burton Batman that much; probably because it more closely aligns, tone wise, to the comics I read as a kid. The Batman character has been around for close to a century and the comic books have gone through numerous writers, phases, and shifts in tone over the decades, so the Nolan Batman films are every bit as faithful to the comics as the Burton ones. Regardless of what we think of Tim Burton's more recent output, the man had one hell of a run in the 80s and early to mid 90s.

Bull from Night Court? Aww man that sucks. He made it to 80, at least he had a full life.

Apropos Batman (1989), I legitimately like it better than The Dark Knight. It's a fantastic movie. Highly recommended.

I describe my style as hobo chique.

In theory, yes. Whether it's extra enough is another matter entirely. As an aside, you also typically get paid more for pulling flatbeds, but it's not enough of a premium IMHO. With flatbeds you need to tarp the load yourself. This time of year it's not that big of a deal, but let's say you're in Laredo, Texas in July. It's 1:35 pm central time and your trailer just got finished getting loaded. It's 114°F and you need to tarp your load with those giant and heavy as **** tarps. Yeah, I'm gonna pass on that.

It's as good as it's ever going to get now, they're done updating it. I mean, there may still be a hotfix or something down the line, but basically it's done and CDPR have moved on. I've had some hilarious physics glitches, but beyond that it's been rock solid. No crashes, no game/quest breaking bugs. Game good.

Given Ryu Ga Gotoku's track record, that's not going to be some short side-activity or a simplified or stripped-down version of essentially Animal Crossing, it's going to be a full game all on its own. RGG always SUPER overdelivers on these. For example the Cabaret Club Management or Real Estate Tycoon. Those are entire full games within Yakuza games with memorable characters, storylines, wacky shenanigans, and surprisingly deep game systems that I've spent dozens and dozens of hours playing and enjoying. The best part is that it's not DLC thay're going to charge you $25 for, it's just included. Well, actually, the best part is that my favorite character has a cameo in the trailer. My girl, The Obatarian. Not a surprise she'd show up, she's a fan favorite. Still, It's nice to get confirmation.

The game is at several orders of magnitude more stable now than it was at launch.

I think I read somewhere that Intel will eventually have stacked cache like Team Red's X3D chips. If so, that's a good move. The X3D chips have been a big success for Team Red so it would be smart for Team Blue to copy take inspiration from that design.

It's not fun to think about, but yes, that's what it would take to achieve the objective of the counter offensive (break through the Russian defensive line and sever the land bridge to Crimea). This isn't like the highly successful 2022 Kharkiv counter offensive which worked because they caught the Russians unprepared. If this counter offensive were to succeed it would take thousands... Tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands (more) of dead Ukrainians to achieve it. The Russians are very heavily fortified. Without significant air superiority, breaking through the defensive line in any meaningful way will require MASSIVE casualties. It's a horrible situation but that's the reality of it.

AMD thinks they've won the number wars with their admittedly brilliant strategy of including a "X" which functions as the multiplication symbol, leaving Intel in the dust. However, there is one trick left up the sleeve if Intel is wise enough to employ it. Just picture it: Intel i9 - 15900 Checkmate atheists.

Forget Justin Timberlake, my V is bringing sexy back. Timely reference, I know.

What You've Done Today - We do not remember days, we remember moments

I went to the ren fair today: I'm not presumptuous enough to dress up as a noble so there I am in my gambeson and cloth coif. A good time was had. The Carolina Renaissance Festival always puts on a great show. -
I think people buried the lede concerning the Microsoft acquisition of Activision. Call of Doody and Diablo are all fine and well, but Activision owns the Arcanum IP, which is to say that Microsoft now owns the Arcanum IP. Forget about everything else, Arcanum 2 is now possible. This needs to happen. WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

After a break to play a bunch of demos, I'm back to Cyberpunk. Side benefit of going with gorilla arms is that it makes the Beat on the Brat boxing quests ludicrously easy. I'm not fully maxed out yet, I have tier 3 gorilla arms and 19 body, but suffice to say I punch REALLY HARD and the bouts don't last more than a few seconds.

Steve taking the piss. tl;dw: It's for all intents and purposes the same chip as the previous gen.

The final demo I've played during this installment of Demorama, Hollow Cocoon. It's that time of year, so I had to play at least one spoopy game. The demo is quite short, so I didn't need to use them, but there are closets to hide in, so it's likely one of those games where you are collecting items to help you progress while trying to stay out of sight of the monster. Said monster: That's where the demo ended.

She has moved on to the Great Thigh Master in the sky. Side-note: Joyce DeWitt and Richard Kline are now the only remaining living OG members of Three's Company AFAIK.
