I voted Nature Godlike for the reasons Odd Hermit already pointed out. But the actual answer would be all Godlike, none of their bonuses are really any better then the others and certainly don't counteract the added downside of not being able to wear helmets.

[480] Combat music doesn't stop playing in Spider Cave

Like the title says, once combat has started in the spider cave the combat music doesn't stop playing until you leave the cave again. Everything else works fine though, combat stops and endurance regenerates, just the music keeps going. Pretty obvious, so it might have already been fixed. -
That's a lot of pretty broad questions. You say you are experienced with DnD, so my answer would actually be that's it should be rather hard for someone like you to mismanage a Druid to a point where he is not effective. Druid is said to be one of the most powerful classes right now, so as long as you don't invest your stats in a completely silly manner you're good. The rest depends on how you want to play your Druid. Well, you probably shouldn't use Single Weapon Style or wear heavy armor but otherwise... *shrug*

I believe such obvious bugs are alrdy fixed in the release build. I wouldnt worry about it. Hopefully, still happened in v480 to me just yesterday. -

While stuff like performance and exploits are important, I believe to get positive reviews it's important to fix the more obvious stuff even if it doesn't have any lasting impact: - Deer need to run away from the party. Reported long ago but still persists. - No sliding knocked down enemies. - No endlessly looping battle music. - As few *missing string* as possible. -
Backer Beta Build 480 Portraits

Still hoping for some variants for Godlike to choose from. The face could stay the same but choosing what kind of horns/growth you have on your head would be good. -
My findings so far after a quick bit of playing: - Battle music often persists even when battle ends. Stops only when you change location. - Cyclopedia is flooded with *missing string*, for example Lore consists of only *missing string*. - Greater Frenzy is a really weak upgrade to Frenzy. +2 Might and +2 Con on a timed combat ability? Not at the cost of a talent! - "One Stands Alone"'s description still doesn't show what damage bonus you supposedly get. Plenty of nice little additions too though! Too lazy to mention all. I liked that picked up ingredients now show up as a little icons for a few seconds now to show you what that stuff was you collected there.

Guess they're in a rush now to fix as much as possible before sending out review copies this week. So we might get the same build later this week. Maybe...

Important about the stronghold to me is that it is not just some sort of management browser game but has qualities like the strongholds in BG2. Meaning that there are events that require my presence at the stronghold (aside from optional manual combat as was shown at PAX) and have actual interaction with other characters. If everything is manageable over the "stronghold menu" from any place in the world, that would be a bit disappointing.

I have it from a credible source that the Eternity team is actually mostly lazing around these days, watching movies and ordering pizza. Except when one of them has get up to troll the forums with some story how there's a bug with the BB and there will be no update this week, all the while giggling like crazy. -

Wow, yeah this was several leagues above the last PAX stream. Much interesting stuff. I'm especially impressed with how much you can upgrade your stronghold. Though, was it me or was the party a bit overleveled once again? -
Kinda. I'm not 100% informed on the details but IIRC G2A like Kinguin is one of those greymarket resellers. They get their key from "somewhere" so cheap they can resell them way below the official price and still make money. It's not illegal, but Ubisoft and EA have already deactivated such keys in the past, so take that as you will.

The second pic with the drake makes me wonder about something else altogether. There's a huge pile of gold there. Will we be able to loot that after we deal with the dragon? I'd guess not, since even if that was copper pieces that still would be at least 20.000 cp. So,... how would that go over? Guy A: "The drake's dead, lets grab all his treasure and be filthy rich! Guy B: "Nah, lets just leave it. It smells of dragon and I can't fit all that into my pockets anyway." Guy A: "Uh, how about we just take as much as we can? That'd be still enough to..." Guy B: "Don't be silly! Now come on, we have to turn in this quest and get our reward."

I know what you meant -- that the game won't adjust to you, so you'll have to adjust to the game with your 3-4 people -- but it's just funny how that happened to be worded, It can be taken as "your party size won't affect the difficulty, so the game will become more difficult because of your party size." Heh. Gotta love English. But,... that's exactly what I meant. -

You can. It's up to you how large your party is. But the game does not change it's difficulty based on party size, so it will be harder. -

Can't give enough thumbs up to this. This has been bugging me forever and each time I thought "They'll even it out in the next update" but it seems that was never the intention. So yeah, this shouldn't be hard to fix even now. Some (more) pure athletics and survival options please. -

Expansion to be ToSC style

I'll wait until more concrete info about the expansion is available before my final judgement, but should the expansion really be entirely like TotSC I'd be disappointed. By the point the expansion is out I'll have Eternity finished twice over easily, without some continuation for my character there is no hook for me to jump in again and even shell out money for what amounts to extra sidequests. I don't mind if the expansion retroactively adds new stuff to the original game but I also want something that chronologically plays after I defeated the big bad of the main quest line. -

I would like a basic introduction to our companion NPCs. I know Obsidian is trying to avoid spoilers but I think it's a bit over the top right now. Given how popular companion interaction is in other recent RPGs I think it could really help to point out that this is actually a thing in PoE in future interviews and such. Got a little off topic there,... point is I'd like to know some general basics about our companions before release. If at all possible, some general skill info about our companions would also be useful. So, for example, I can avoid focusing my PC on Two handed weapons + Greatsword when Eder later joins the party with those skills by default. -

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but if you don't mind maybe you or anyone else on the team could answer me this question that's been haunting me: How are things on the Eternity team in this final month? Is the crunch at 100%? People staying over the weekend? Sleeping on the ground at the office to catch a break before another 12h workday? Is there fear in the eyes of your programmers when they look at the list with bugs left to fix? What is QA doing? Complete playthroughs? Despair and bargaining? Or camaraderie and hope as every new day makes the game a little more perfect?
