    Well put. Religion isn't the only means to fanaticism, but it's arguably the most efficient.

    The peaceful Muslims in violent regions are between a rock and hard place though. If they speak out they risk losing their lives, either by dictators, other tribal factions or extremists. But Muslims in more stable regions, in Europe and the states, they are the ones who need to be more proactive imo. They need to denounce this crap when it happens.

    True, the bigger picture is complicated. But religion exacerbates a region already in turmoil. Much of the tribal conflict is indeed religion based, going back hundreds of years, and terrorists could not recruit without Islam as the tool. It has to be considered in any equation for bringing peace to the area.

    Then what do you blame? Islam fosters these extremists. Every time moderates don't call them out, that puts them exactly line with the people who blew up the school. And believe me, I'm not calling out Islam specifically, but religion in general. Islam just happens to be going through the most growing pains right now. Furthermore, islamic extremists don't want me to characterize their religion, they want me to convert.

    I was practically applauding the move. No BS, just get the job done and let people whine about it afterwards. If the attack was a multi-national offense, which seems to be the case, then this counter offensive makes perfect sense. Teach the bastards a lesson.

    Space opera has been done to death, so right away I say no. And then I look at Obsidian's track record for creating new IP's...and I say no. I hate to say it, but Bioware is better at this. Far better.

    Well, this is a BioWare fan thread so I'll let this brilliant riposte go unchallenged.

    Is a BW game, if you stare at a wall long enough you'll get sex scene. Gotta capture that Twitcher crowd. Seems like the BioWare fans are the ones who demand romance, in every conceivable shape and form. In the Witcher it's just in there like it is in real life.

    ^ One the designers will be talking about open world design. I really wish they'd get their writers to talk about how they come up with their characters and plot ideas.
