  1. We've passed level 6 with the inclusion of Paypal backers now and are closing in on a 7th level from the Facebook likes. Watcher's Keep had 5 levels (including Demogorgon I think) Dragon's Eye had 5 levels Durlag's Tower had a quite a few levels ... 2 upper, one ground (albeit no encounters) and four levels (five including the boss encounter level) Dorn's Deep ... well that was a weird one because you sort of went in and out different parts of the mountain Anyway I'm sort of concerned that the more levels get added (could be 8-9 levels by the end of the Kickstarter maybe), the size/amount of content in the levels will become a bit smaller? Do the above ground levels count as levels to the Mega Dungeon as well ? Anyway my ideal level size would be the same as Durlag's Tower/Dragon's Eye size levels. I would love to say slightly more encounters but that might make things a bit cluttered. Hopefully there's a nice wide variation of stuff too (like those weird elemental rooms in Durlag's Tower).
  2. One of the things that kind of bothered me about Baldur's Gate was the automatic deduction of reputation once you'd done something bad. Most of the time it was fine but say if you killed a lone commoner asleep in the top floor of their house, you'd lose 5 reputation or something. I hope that in Project Eternity, when you're doing something that might upset another faction, that it's not an instant deduction from your reputation but rather there's a reason for it. This is a quote from the recent Wasteland 2 update I am hoping that in a situation like this, that your reputation would only be affected if the local resident saw you and made it back to town to speak of the tale. There are other ways around this though (magic, investigation) etc etc that could be used to explain away the reason for automatic reputation deduction, but it would be cool if you had the opportunity to exercise your ability to get away with stuff as well.
  3. Water's gonna look pretty good to her if we ever go to the desert ... perhaps too good.
  4. http://www.puretrak.com/products/item/6 :D or something similar I use a Razer Mantis Speed, it's worn down a bit but it's still fine.
  5. Something that looks closer to the Baldur's Gate 1 art-style, those are my favourite paperdolls ever.
  6. I'd love something that is a big achievement to beat. Kangaxx was pretty tough if you didn't know what you're doing but there's several ways to beat him pretty easily. I don't think many people beat him on the first go though
  7. When we hit the 2.8 Million mark, George Ziets should do a youtube video talking about what he's looking forward to / some of the ideas he might bring to the table for Project Eternity, would be cool to hear from him
  8. You're using past tense so I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. What are you referring to?
  9. yeah Baldur's Gate style, but I wouldn't mind there being some party pickup mechanics so that when you recruit a party member they're within a certain level range of you and TOB style NPCs so that you can level them up like normal, rather than pre-selected options.
  10. That sounds... really awesome, actually. Baldur's Gate Undercity style except with inhabitants
  11. I just upgraded my pledge to the CE ($140+shipping), might be tempted to go the $250 though. Just had to make sure one of my mates got my $20 slot.
  12. With the paypal backers (47K last i heard) we were at 2.7 a while ago, so almost half way to George Ziets!
  13. I'm not sure about 3.5 (would love to have it, but I don't know if we'll get 3.5) I was correct assuming Stronghold @ 3M though
  14. I hope the cloth map is as thick as the BG2 cloth map, mine's still in great condition. The Dragon Age cloth map was freaking terrible.
  15. As far as the art style goes, I'd say it's closer to Baldur's Gate 2 than anything else. I was hoping for a more Icewind Dale style look, but I'm fine with this also the quality is better than I expected.
  16. I did also like Kevin Michael Richardson from Baldur's Gate though.
  17. See I prefer the static item option in this style of game, because in the pool of random items there's going to be one that suits your character/party for that playthrough. In Icewind Dale 2 I either save-scummed or swapped out the item for the one I wanted in Dalekeeper. That is a power-gaming offense though.
  18. will you be cutting off people's manhoods and feeding them to the goats?
  19. A 5,000 backer dropped out. edit: that's actually better because then ~97% of the money goes to Obsidian rather than 90%.
