  1. By the way, regarding graphics card the new GTX 670, is probably the best bang for buck in graphics since the 8800GT. It really is incredible.
  2. You can easily play DS3 on a 4 year old computer. @Brayko: If you are feeling weaker as you level up you may be doing something wrong. Choose your equipment carefully, Picking an item to equip that doesn't support your playing style can make things quite a bit harder. And note that, on hardcore, the Witch boss battle is a bit of a jump in difficult compared to the beginning of the game. Dodge and harnessing your character's powers is the key.
  3. Keep telling us about your recent endeavours in gaming, here. Myself, I'm going through The Witcher 2, and Deux Ex:HR, right now.
  4. Closed for length.
  5. http://i.imgur.com/Lgc9Y.png Have fun. Also, how about upgrading your PC and using your old parts on her PC?
  6. I don't think the second Witcher has less monsters than the first one.
  7. Roman Republic and Empire.
  8. Avengers is pretty damn awesome.
  9. I had never realized he was also Tommy in Trainspotting.
  10. I'm reading the books now and I'd rate them as bit lacking but I'm still enjoying the series a great deal.
  11. And that isn't available in the PC version? Weird. I'm guessing a lighting patch is on the way.
  12. I was actually hoping they'd port back the new, more natural lighting conditions to the PC version, but early reports indicate that they didn't do so. Oh well, if there's a demand they probably will later, and it's not like the game on PC looks bad. Is the lighting dynamic in the 360 version?
  13. I really have to get on with playing the DLC.
  14. No. http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2011/07/05/ten-years-after-decriminalization-drug-abuse-down-by-half-in-portugal/
  15. Bokishi is one year older, today. Happy Brithday!
  16. Feel free to start a thread in WoT.
  17. Those would be good examples as well. Hard Boiled and A Better Tomorrow are masterful.
  18. Erm these are fun or enjoyable, not good. And thats exactly what action-based movies should be? That's why they are "good"? I just hope you're not going to argue that pre-2000 action-based movies were some sort of highly sophisticated wonders of cinematography and screenwriting. Please, no. Some were, most weren't. Aliens would be the best example, I guess.
  19. Llyranor and Nick keep on delivering the goods.
  20. Oh, of course. I just don't get how you'd think anyone would be worse than Santorum as president.
  21. I don't see how it's possible to not consider Santorum a complete loon. Courtesy of wikipedia: He supports intelligent design. He said this: "The indoctrination that is going on at the university level is a harm to our country.
  22. Is this attitude a prerequisite for becoming a member of the moderation team, or is it a part of Integration? Let me elaborate, then. Bioware attempts to do epic, meaningful, full of C&C, big budget RPGs akin to Hollywood movies . Witcher 2 does all this, but better than Bioware has ever done. The writing is better, the C&C is better, the plot is better, the production values are better.
  23. I'd argue that it's a Bioware style RPG without the suck.
  24. Day 1 purchase for sure if that's what it is. Oh yes!
