The only ones who didn't die from the incident are the ones Jacob touched.
  2. Moved to the right forum. Welcome back Alan!
  3. That's about the weirdest thing I've ever read on these fora.
  4. Apparently, everything Josh Homme touches turns to solid gold.

The premiere of Le Salaire de La Peur would be pretty awesome. Or The Jimi Hendrix Experience playing live, somewhere.

Firefly still ended way too early and besides, Battlestar Galactica got a lot better before it got worse.

  8. Didn't the BGs sell like a million units each, or something? I'd say there's good money in making a game like that, considering there's no competition for that consumer base. This marketing drive by developers and publishers to sell all the games they make to the exact same group of people seems idiotic to me. Selling games to the minimum coomon denominator doesn't appear to be particularly good business when: a) everyone under the moon is trying to sell their games to that demographic; and b) games that sell to that crowd require bigger budgets due to the investment in graphics and audio that is needed to make the sales. It's like a recipe for commercial failure.
  9. Won't somebody think of the poor children.

    You mean Echo?

It's like Volourn lives in the upside down, backwards land. And I don't mean Canada. I thought this episode was a fairly good set up for the next season, although the show would improve a great deal if they changed the lead. Sierra should be the lead actress.
  12. I'm listening to Mirror's Edge remixes CD while the game installs, and it's pretty atrocious. While the vocals version of the song is bad enough, the added gaggle of remixes is enough to make me suicidal.
  13. It's the pupils, mostly, although if all 50 of my pupils were actually fighting, I'd be up by three more levels, or something. My French and Spanish brutes are doing much better.
  14. I'm up to level 11 and still sucking. I have a grand total of 22 wins, so far, which is just woeful.

    That was pretty awesome.
  16. Isn't that just an extension to an already existing law? How does that curtail free speech? Also, if this is happening, it is pretty shocking.

    So, I bought L4D. Advice?
  18. Ya, now I get it...that was unfortunate, but it still was one of the greatest gaming moments for me. I really hope you haven't played many games.
  19. *achievement sound*
  20. It would have been like revenge over all the crappy console to PC ports done by crappy software companies over the years.
  21. I hate you.
  22. Well, a Brit would think that about Swedish women, mostly because the concentration of hideous people in the UK is very impressive. The fish place is commonly known as the Church O' Fish. Or Fiske Kyrkan. Or Feskek
  23. How about elaborating on your failures?
