Mass Effect 2 E3 Prelude
Didn't Bioware say that that wasn't a dryad, but rather an actual vegetable?

What are you playing now?
I went to Skeeter's and stalked your posts there, but couldn't find anything on your PC.

What are you playing now?
It's the same game with more features, better graphics and better performance. What's there to decide?

That's what you get when you have to artificially reduce de amount of dialogue due to VO costs.

You could give me some of your incredible skills with the ladies, instead. I still silently hate your awesomeness.

Mass Effect 2 E3 Prelude
Don't get me wrong, ME2 will definitely be a competent game and there are a lot of worse games one could play. I certainly don't regret playing through the main quest line in the first one. I'd just wager it won't be anything new or particularly improved over Bioware's recent games.

Mass Effect 2 E3 Prelude
It's only a marketing ploy if the choices you made in ME1 don't actually change anything in ME2, and until we play ME2 we can't know what consequences our choices have. If they have a significant impact on the path the game takes then it'll actually be quite a step up from what we usually see in games. Though given your views on Bio it's hardly surprising you'd take a glass-half-empty view. Unless they are planning on doubling or tripling the game's size just by adding optional content most players will never see, the consequences of first game choices will be few and shallow. It's just not worth the investment. Also, considering Bio's record of limiting their games' content in favour of production values, I don't see how this will be any different.

Mass Effect 2 E3 Prelude
If they really wanted to integrate proper C&C into their games they would do it within the same game, not from one game to another. As it is, it's just a marketing ploy to get people to buy the sequel.

LOST
He touched Sun and Locke as well... And man, is Richard(os) gonna be pissed or what? He's been led by the nose for a looong time. It's really funny that even Jack said that Locke was special, in the end he was little more than a puppet, a sad little puppet. Locke was dead when Jacob touched him, maybe that changed something? And we still haven't got a clue as to why Sun didn't go back in time.

Yes. It draws out fights that already are pretty repetitive without it.

LOST
The only ones who didn't die from the incident are the ones Jacob touched.

The premiere of Le Salaire de La Peur would be pretty awesome. Or The Jimi Hendrix Experience playing live, somewhere.

Firefly still ended way too early and besides, Battlestar Galactica got a lot better before it got worse.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW DRAGON AGE GOTY TRAILER
Didn't the BGs sell like a million units each, or something? I'd say there's good money in making a game like that, considering there's no competition for that consumer base. This marketing drive by developers and publishers to sell all the games they make to the exact same group of people seems idiotic to me. Selling games to the minimum coomon denominator doesn't appear to be particularly good business when: a) everyone under the moon is trying to sell their games to that demographic; and b) games that sell to that crowd require bigger budgets due to the investment in graphics and audio that is needed to make the sales. It's like a recipe for commercial failure.
