  1. Miller's Crossing is an awesome movie.
  2. you're talking about Wolverine? As I said before, I'm not a Marvel fan, so I'm not familar with the Wolverine back story/history. I guess that's a good thing for me. He's talking about T2, of course.
  3. I'm just saying that BG2 cost less to make that NWN. I'm not sure if that's true, of course, but I don't see how that necessarily contradicts Bioware's statements. I'm guessing BIO are talking about overall sales when they say "successful".
  4. I just bought a Herzog boxed set, which includes Lebenszeichen, Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes, Woyzeck, Fitzcarraldo, Cobra Verde, and Mein Liebster Feind. Also, the DVDs have a bunch of extras, including quite a few of Herzog's documentaries. GLEE!!!!!!!
  5. What about competitive Twister? Or Hungry Hungry Hippos Pro League?
  6. EA releases a lot more than 3 sports games, every year. There's NBA, NFL, NHL, FIFA, FIFA manager, PGA tour and whatever else that is a sport.
  7. Well, ME and NWN probably moved a lot more units than BG2. However, if you were to compare the games' budgets, I'd imagine BG2 comes very much ahead. It's not about number of boxes sold, but rather about return on investment.
  8. Does anyone know of someone who sells wooden cases for PCs?
  9. Actually one of them does.... Stop stalking me, jerk.
  10. I play games on a box that is plugged to my TV. I don't have a console.
  11. And the other one looks like you?
  12. These forums are for family friendly discussion. Or so I hear.
  13. I don't like the whole completion percentage in the character profiles section. It encourages metagaming, and it means we can get all available info on a character in a single playthrough. It breaks the illusion that you're talking to actual people, as getting to know them is turned into a mechanical side game. It's analogous to what Bioware does with its games' characters and it sucks. It would be a lot better if certain choices during the game got you different, mutually exclusive bits of info on the characters, and if you were never sure you had gotten all the info there was to know about the characters.
  14. Airport and then Drassen is what I always do.
  15. That's a failed murder not a potential one.
  16. I don't see why it's such a big can of worms. It's rather clear that imagining something is never a crime. People aren't tried for potential crimes.
  17. Good stealth isn't so much about a character's abilities, but rather about AI awareness. To have interesting stealth gameplay, AP's AI has to see and hear realistically, and react appropriately to the player and other AIs around it. With stealth in mind, how will sound propagation work in AP?
  18. It seems you're procrastinating over your procrastination.
  19. I really hate it when uninformed people talk like they know things. GI Joe had a comic line under Marvel that ran 155 issues. It had a Devil's Due run that ran 80 issues. It had numerous limited series and one shots. The average comic storyline runs 6 issues, averaging to over 40 storylines. Plus 3 cartoon series and a TV movie. There is a plethora of source material that isn't just the packaging for the toys. The situation is similar for Transformers. The toys were actually the worst part of the brand. The comics and the cartoons were created to support the toys' sale. It's the main reason why they were horrible. Made on the cheap to appeal to less than discerning kids.
