So when you first start the game you have two difficulty settings (normal and recruit), and depending on which you choose you get different dialogue options. Is that correct?

Scores are shortened reviews for the functionally illiterate. It would be too much work to use the source engine, given they are making a TBRPG. They'd be better off making a new engine from scratch. Considering the apaprent needs of their game, the AoD engine is probably the best choice at this time.

Not really, actually. Not that they don't like Obsidian, just that they don't give Obsidian all that much support. They seem to be big Oblivion and Mass Effect fans.

SoZ also has a pretty amazing soundtrack.

SoZ has the best single player gameplay of any NWN title. However, that isn't saying a whole lot, and the engine gets in the way of the game's fluency. You'll be watching a lot of loading screens.

For a potentially much larger page file, probably.
