  1. I've narrowed it down to a list of crap JRPGs, but there are so many to choose from, it's hard to decide. Maybe Suikoden 3 (the first two were good, don't get me wrong.)
  2. I think you've never worked in an office environment before. Anyway, got Muramasa and Dynasty Warriors (wow, **** off, touchscreen features,) on Vita just to actually have games other than P4G on it.
  3. Tali's Sweat Simulation 2014. Now with Olfacto-vision support! You memorized the fan-hypothesized chemical structure of her body odor, but now experience it for yourself!* *Developer not responsible for any injuries, illnesses or deaths incurred due to Olfacto-vision technology. See software license for details.
  4. Ehhhh?! Why wouldn't you do it for superficial reasons like hipster words? I mean, sure, I'm a gushing fan of how Sawyer improved Fallout 3's systems in NV, but if he didn't bike to work in cold weather and have reasonably in-depth knowledge about bicycle design and maintenance, I would have thought NV was terrible. Also he likes cats, so that's, like, +5 to growing your own organic vegetables in an adobe/recycled glass bottle house in the Arizona desert whose entire water supply is derived from efficiently used condensation. That die has a lot of sides. It's mathematically not a sphere, though. JUST SAYIN'
  5. Wow. For a moment, I thought I had been redirected to another forum where discussion of your ideas would be fiercely debated for 100+ pages (including chemical analysis of bodily secretions). Obsidian has stated there will be no romances. There have been about 25 - 35 threads on this subject which inevitably end like this: Typical Romance Thread These threads started the first day of the Kickstarter back in September, 2012. Obsidian is well aware that there is a very vocal portion of their backers who would have preferred a romance option in the game, and an equally vocal portion who absolutely cringe at the idea of romance mini-games. That is what they are unless that are an intricate part of the story like PS:T. Asking them to do romances is tantamount to asking them to change their vision of the story for this game. I'm thinking the science angle just isn't going to be enough to change their minds. Personally, I think Obsidian's writing capabilities to be one of their most outstanding qualities. I have no doubt there will be great companions and character interaction. It's what many feel is their greatest strength. Hey, this party can't really get started until Merin (with his cross and posse) make an appearance. Nobody's made a "what would Cadegund's sweat smell like? I HAVE SCIENTICIANALLY CALCUMALATED THE ANSWER!" thread yet.
  6. It's amazing how much guff Americans get for their (our) English when the Britons themselves can have such a worse grasp of their own language.
  7. Hmmm.... Nope, I don't want any one of those dirty pinko slav commies to benefit from red-blooded American capitalist corruption. Our corruption is objectively superior to theirs, they don't even deserve it. A minimum wage job in some states could, after a few years of saving and some currency exchange wrangling, buy some pretty fancy digs in your third world countries like Chad, Djibouti or Bangladesh. I mean, it'd be so easy to leverage that into a criminal cartel it's not even funny. And you don't even need government connections to the former (soviet) regime to achieve such heights if you're a patriot!
  8. I, in contrast, am not. Yeah, the Orlesian fashion not related to the ****ty Felicia Day as Herself Mary Sue Bioware Fangasming Because Felicia Day is in Their Game character was pretty Elizabethan.

  10. The whole ****ney thing has been out for a long time. Find a chav and try to see if you can endure 10 minutes. Record the word-like grunts that emerge from its throat and try to transcribe them.
  11. Never been a big fan of dedicated dungeon crawlers. Really more interested in blithely criticizing the historical inaccuracy of naming one class and the issues of gender inequality in þe olden tymes. Quote from Man on the oblong mire of mud and feces which acts as a main thoroughfare through the village: "A woman? Doctor? AHAHAHAHA!... But seriously, SHE'S A WITCH, BURN HER!"
  12. Oh look, it's that stupid dragon helmet. How wonderful. I'll admit though, the rest of the armor looks pretty good, and damn, these ****ers move fast. What, do they own a Chinese sweatshop? Also, a sword that cannot be drawn from its... little sword corset(?) due to issues of girth isn't very useful. Whoa, there, bronco, keep it to yourself. What you do in the privacy of your own home is your business, but say it, don't spray it.
  13. B... r... u... c... e... V... C... OK, got it. Your opinions are now invalid! Smiling emoticon!
  14. I usually recommend that they go to a porn site and pull one out if they really enjoy doing that. It is quicker, much less disturbing, and will provide them with a better view. Call me crazy, but I think this discussion is actually perpendicular to the thread's original intent. Not that I care, I'm all for making fun of people. Let's talk about imaginary copulation with large grey horned persons, or people suffering from dwarfism and excessive facial hair growth. That is tame compared to the Bioware Social Network (aka forums, which are not a social network in the common definition, whole other subject.) ZIIIIING!
  15. When did you play Fallout 4? How big is its world? How does it compare to New Vegas? Is it MIT like everybody expects? How bad is its writing, on a scale from Bad to Worst? Are milk-filled androids a playable race? If they were randomly/procedurally generated terrain heightmaps then the chances that Oblivion's Cyrodiil or F3's DC metro area even remotely resembled the Tamriel map and reality, respectively, would be astronomically small. And yet they do closely mimic the established TES map of Tamriel and (simplified though it may be) geography of the D.C./Maryland area. I'll leave the logic to the readers, because I have faith in humanity.
  16. Pillars: Of: Eternity: Episode: One: Flagrant: Misuse: Of: The: Colon The sequel will be titled Peristasis tis Aioniotitas. +1 to architecture history rolls.
  17. Paintings behind paintings behind paintings, insert Inception reference here, everybody laughs then sticks their index and middle fingers to their heads, makes a hammer ****ing and striking motion with their thumbs and a THHHBLLT onomatopoeia representing one's brain being splattered across the room because that is an insufferably tired reference. Incidentally, ****ing the hammer on your revolver is VERBOTEN BY DER NAUGHTINESS FILTER.
  18. The only way to avoid nude mods is to have no modding potential. Someone will do it, and it will be hilariously pathetic, awkward, and one of the top 5 PoE downloads from Nexus. I'd actually like to hear the testimony of the people who whacked off over a puny character model viewable only at a 3/4 isometric perspective. You'd think someone with such a vivid imagination could construct the whole deviant scenario in their head. It would constitute a significant contribution to the field of abnormal psychology. I should say something positive; at least they aren't Sonic the Hedgehog fans (can of worms: OPEN! Please nobody actually take up that subject, it was jest, those people belong under their rocks, never to be seen by society.)
  19. Distraught because my local public radio station is doing their membership drive and, thus, I'm too irritated to listen, so now I have no idea what's happening in the world. Also, wishing there were more HD closeups of womens' speedskating. That is not as lewd as it sounds. OK, maybe it is. -Portlanders are as inept dealing with snow, ice and slush as usual (excluding those persons who actually go to the mountains a proverbial stones throw from the city.) Some morons spinned out in front of my driveway and are cursing loudly while ineptly placing wooden planks before their front wheels. I feel no inclination toward aiding these people as they are "neighbors" who frequently cause audio disruptions late at night. By "neighbors" I mean "hostile invaders who have violated my lifelong territory whose attachments to this place are fleeting at best."
  20. I still haven't been paying attention to this game. I'm going to spew some generic statements about sexual relations with large horned women and imitation of Skyrim. Generic statement about porking a Qunari female. Skyrim. That said, I still will buy and play this game on PC. You can't ask for a better endorsement, Bioware. I mean, you can, but you won't actually get a better endorsement. Why do developers whose company names start with 'B' invite so much vicious criticism yet manage to get the criticizers to play their games for many more hours than is healthy? Also, marketing buzzwords (on topic.)
  21. I don't have time to put on my best Armani and rolex so I can tap the watch while saying "Time is money!" so... Time and budget restrictions are a concrete reality of the game industry. Do you remember why the video game Kickstarter boom happened in the first place? It's because devs wanted to be free from the constraints placed by publishers on time, money and content. Bioware might have so much leeway to color-code their endings, but they're a subsidiary of EA, it's EA that's paying for the game's production, and thus EA exercises complete control of the budget. They can propose as many budgets devoted heavily to improving whatever area needs to be improved, but if the suits at the publisher don't think that's going to generate more sales then they're just going to send it back with "suggested revisions". I didn't like 1999 mode. I don't remember DOOM or Quake throwing these huge bullet sponges at me without giving me a rocket launcher that has 100 shots, never needs reloading, and a strafing speed that would impress sonic the hedgehog. Modern headshot and cover-oriented shooters simply don't work within the design principles of FPS games from the 90s.
  22. If it makes you feel better, a romance mod will be right behind the nude mod. I have some optimism that the Bethesda/Nexus modding... I hesitate to say "community," but... whatever that particular group of person-like organisms constitutes, I don't think they're going to be particularly interested in PoE. Simply because there's little/no potential for making pornographic mods. Maybe I'm just too optimistic, as shows in so many of my posts.
