Meaningful well placed random loot wold be wonderful. What need to go away is finding diamond's in trees and Gauntlets of Ogre Power in the dock area of Baldur's Gate. That was terribly done.

You do not start the game with them. Once you CAN finally access the Adventurer Hall you then can add them IIRC.

The ironic thing is, BECAUSE of the success of this specific KS, it actually may help BD get publisher funding for a BG III. And there there is the whole dealing with WotC/Hasbro thing as well. I do wish them luck on it, but I don't have much interest in it.

I feel the same way. IF a 3rd BG was going to happen I would be FAR more excited about it if Obsidian were doing it personally.

We are currently split. Some cannot see over the RAGE over the mention of Cooldowns. So an Unholy Truce is not very likely. Codex gonna codex. We actually have quite a LOT of backers.
