  1. Yes, the old IE games lack any fatigue indicator. That was the problem as you coudln't tell how tired the party was. Um a fatigue icon would show on the characters portrait? Yes, but AFTER you already become fatigued. It's about as usefull as "you are dead" flashing on your screen after you HP goes to 0, without having any HP indicator anywhere. A bar going down, showing you how fatigued you are would have been a FAR better idea. Ahh yes. Sorry missed your point. Yes, that would have been a much better way (A bar going down, showing you how fatigued you).
  2. 7:06 An example we came up with for wizards, we are not sure we are going to do this [site example]. This example sounds interesting and very BG2/IWD like.
  3. Or how people would strip Khalid in BG and send him to fight alone so he'd die and they could have Jaheria without being forced to have him. I wasn't the only one who did that?

  5. I'd love to see something story driven, along the lines of Durlag's Tower. If it ALSO ties in with the main Quest (as in not REQUIRED, but you garner some additional clues or other various goodies) that would be Fabulous.
  6. Have you ever played any of Obsidian's games? Because if you have not, you should. And that would answer your question.
  7. There is NO Publisher involved with Project Eternity. Unlike BioWare.
  8. I think you meant to say the Clergy of Myrkul faction.
  9. unless the battles are designed so that you need different tactics for different encounters. The keys then are to design spells so there aren't "best" spells and to design encounters so they aren't all the same. I'm not saying I want that design, but it can theoretically be done without removing tactics or challenge. Even with explicitly designed encounters, to cover up such a horrible bland system, it would be boring. Period. Seriously think about it. Imagine in BG you have access to EVERY SPELL (appropriate to your level) at EVERY encounter. There is no meaningful tactics. There is no Challenge. Is boring. And there is NO sense of tension. It's just YAWN, next battle.
  10. Then every battle is exactly the same. BORING. There is no Tactics, challenge or any sense of tension, like you DID experience in the IE games. Did you ever play them?
  11. ALL of the factions of F:NV were Grey. THAT was actually a good thing. It was the particulars of each that would appeal to each individual person in his/her play-though. And what they wished to accomplish (even with disastrous results). THAT was Obsidian doing what it does best. <3
  12. I don't believe auto-regeneration of HEALTH after every combat is the current plan. Did you read that somewhere?
