  1. Yeah I think there is a huge base of fans of this setting and the video games. There is a small update: http://www.kickstart...n-returns/posts It's more or less WOW! Um we are working fast to answer all your questions but we do have one game in the final phases that we need to finish then it's full steam on Shadowrun. I've never played the video games but I LOVE THIS SETTING (the PnP books). <3 <3 It's a pity though that nobody seems to give a crap about Jane Jensen's project. And surprising, for such a big name in video game history. Maybe if it was about Gabriel Knight 4 it would've caused as much a bomb as Shadowrun, but I somehow doubt it.
  2. At this rate, the Shadowrun Kickstarter might double their $400,000 goal. It does look way more interesting than Wasteland too. All the NES and Genesis players must have risen from their graves for this.
  3. I thought it would be about Molyneux.
  4. Watch Kickstarter video. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1005365109/jane-jensens-pinkerton-road-2012-2013-csg She and her dad made the (excellent) Gray Matter music, apparently.
  5. The Forgotten Sands was the final nail in the Prince's coffin. At this point I just want more Beyond good & evil. I might play Assassin's Creed though when I'm done with Dungeon Siege 3. 9,99
  6. "I've heard parts of their story before, but never the whole. The old Emperor had been murdered, and the nation fell apart. Everywhere they looked, the founders saw war. So they traveled from place to place, gathering allies, and seeking brave men and women to build a new Legion. I guided them, as well as I could. And I judged the hearts of all those who offered to join them." This is what I don't really get. I thought Zaramoth (an immortal Uthgard giant) had always been Emperor of the Empire of Stars, until the people rose up against his tyranny (led by Azunai). The 10th Legion backed out of the conflict and fled to Ehb.
  7. Stonebridge sure changed a lot in the 150 (?) years since DS1. Pretty nice steampunkish feel about it. It reminds me of Fable 3's Bowerstone.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSLPH9d-jsI Some people take Skyrim too seriously.
  9. There shouldn't be a sequel. Just pretend the final five minutes never happened. The game had a perfect bittersweet ending, until Princie decided to doom the entire world to save the girl he flirted with a couple of times. The Prince also lost the girl at the end of Sands of Time (even twice!), but he manned up.
  10. If Gray Matter 2 wins the vote and goes to Kickstarter, I will donate.
  11. The Old Republic just got beaten.
  12. The solution is to dislike everything.
  13. Her voice kinda reminds me of Jaheira, which is a very good thing. With her agility pumped high enough, she can get critical hit chance over 50%, which is pretty overpowered once you get that machine gun ability. Only negative is that she appears to have a will of her own and tends to shoot the wrong targets.
  14. Peter Dinklage keeps eclipsing the rest of the cast.
  15. No, you want that annoying twit dead.
  16. Hey, it's a Spartan woman.
  17. Problem, Britannia?
  18. Since there are Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, Dead or Alive and Tekken movies, there should also be Soul Calibur movies. And Ninja Gaiden.
  19. BioWare should really wrap up this ending DLC before the end of this month so I can uninstall the game and Origin with it.
  20. Well, Bloodrayne had Michelle Rodriguez too. I don't know how he did it, but somehow Boll managed to churn out three more Bloodrayne movies. I saw Bloodrayne 2, and it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of B-grade trash). Anyway, don't miss the awesome sequel to In the name of the King: Dungeon Siege, In the name of the King 2: Two Worlds.
  21. Just ran through Heroes' Crypt. It was nice to see all DS1 suckers entombed, though I only ever used Ulora, Norick, Gloern, Sikra, Phaedriel, Bolingar and Merick. Funny, though, how the Farmer was turned into a chick. Problem, Jason Statham? I must say, loot is pretty boring compared to the first two games. Having to click three times to get to inventory is annoying as well, but consoles and all that jazz. The game is also really, really corridor-y. With me playing as Katarina, it really feels a lot like Space Siege.
  22. I was done with the Myst series after Exile, which was a horrible disappointment after Riven. Revelation appeared to be more of the same, so I never even bothered with it.
  23. Katarina is really fun to play, shooting enemies in the face with a gun is what I always wanted to do in a hack 'n slash game. IIRC Dungeon Siege did let you use some of the goblin flamethrowers and/or lightning guns, but they broke too quickly. And of course, there are the fond memories of "Mirabelle" in Jade Empire. Well, and Fable 3 incorporated guns as well. Good times, good times.
  24. Russia level is crappy, yeah, but after that the game becomes really good.
