  1. It could still happen, Squeenix is one of the least evil publishers around.
  2. I'm surprised the audience didn't burst into laughter when "Decisions that matter YES!" appeared on screen. EDIT: well, nevermind that half the audience consisted of creepy cosplayers
  3. The best part was that smug e-mail afterwards. "lol i beat u" when he actually had to resort to a gunship blowing away the floor. Worst BioWare villain ever, beating out even Melissan (the earliest example of BioWare cutscene retardedness).
  4. Hearts and Armour: the RPG.
  5. Funny thing is that the hero of DS2 is in fact Azunai Reborn, and should still be alive at the time of DS3 (especially when the hero is an Elf or Dryad), and yet there is that Radiant Youth kiddie.
  6. I'd say first Agility and then Will are the most important stats for Katarina. Keep agility high enough and you have 50% critical hit chance the entire game (amplified with Call of the Hunt) and once you get the talent that restores Focus with each critical hit, as someone above mentioned you can spam (empowered) heartseeking shot forever (therefore, Will is important since it increases ability damage).
  7. "Mercy in victory" and "loyalty to the Crown" are two of the pillars, so if you had promised the Queen to leave her alive it's logical to hand her over (there's the fact Jeyne would likely make a very good queen herself, so at the very least she'd be an excellent advisor to the Queen). Having Jeyne work for the Legion seems cruel considering how much she hates them for having killed her father. My decision to kill her wasn't really very true to my previous decisions in the game, but the final part of the game just pissed me off.
  8. I replayed it and even when I made the choice 'true to the Legion' (handing her over to the Queen), she was still murdered. Any place where I can watch all endings? Exile seems like a very bad idea. I think what bothers me the most is that I never found any great loot for Katarina that truly complemented my playstyle. Even the unique items available for purchase at the very end were virtually useless.
  9. Finished the game. The entire ending section kinda ruined it for me. If the game had ended at the Spire, I would've been perfectly happy, but the way things turned out with Kassynder infuriated me. As if having to endure her self-righteous prattling (in a snotty British high-born voice, to boot), the most annoying battle taunts ever and her running away 30 times weren't enough, somehow the game needed to end with a boring combat slog followed by a gimmicky bossfight. I turned the difficulty to easy to get it over with quickly. I don't know how anyone would expect the player to leave that bitch alive after all the crap she pulled at the end.
  10. Meanwhile, in the Philippines.
  11. Princess Leia dancing is rather lame, unfortunately.
  12. I finished up Stonebridge, it was quite enjoyable all the way through. Reinhart is a pretty powerful guy, I don't know if I accidentally power built him, but he never lost any health save for the final boss fight. Not even those electrical robots could hurt him.
  13. I like Gabriel Knight, but I've always been more of a Broken Sword fanboy. Broken Sword is basically a light-hearted version of Gabriel Knight.
  14. I regret googling that JAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
  15. Apparently this was filmed in Utah (where the girl is apparently from). Pretty fitting landscape.
  16. I'm going to start a Kickstarter to pay off my mortgage.

  18. Assassin's Creed rocks.
  19. I watched the second episode too. Not bad, but a lot changed from the book.
  20. Oh look, and it's being published by Sega.
  21. Yeah I think there is a huge base of fans of this setting and the video games. There is a small update: http://www.kickstart...n-returns/posts It's more or less WOW! Um we are working fast to answer all your questions but we do have one game in the final phases that we need to finish then it's full steam on Shadowrun. I've never played the video games but I LOVE THIS SETTING (the PnP books). <3 <3 It's a pity though that nobody seems to give a crap about Jane Jensen's project. And surprising, for such a big name in video game history. Maybe if it was about Gabriel Knight 4 it would've caused as much a bomb as Shadowrun, but I somehow doubt it.
  22. At this rate, the Shadowrun Kickstarter might double their $400,000 goal. It does look way more interesting than Wasteland too. All the NES and Genesis players must have risen from their graves for this.
  23. I thought it would be about Molyneux.
