  1. There is no ignore button per se. You'll have to go to your profile settings and check ignore preferences from there. Stuff should be here.
  2. Is file compression already lost knowledge?
  3. So, out of interest, anyone knows what the biggest KS game funding failure was by now? Was anyone running off with lots of money already? I know that some companies have been running out of money, but I didn't really followed all this fuzz anymore lately.
  4. Did a bit Red Dead Redemption again. I really like the game, but... Damn, I hate the low resolution so much. I can't recognize **** if it isn't standing like directly in front of me. Yesterday I accidentally killed some policemen, because I thought they were some robbers or something. Or when a few guys are fighting against robbers... And they all look the same, even if I sit directly in front of the tv.
  5. I am wondering if it would be possible to provide free tv into the area / to the people, with tv shows that educate the people in a subliminal kind of way. :>
  6. To be honest, I can't remember a stealth game where you failed the mission as soon as you got spotted. There might be some short content part exception here or there, but a full game... Can't think of any right now.
  7. The new Shadow Warrior game. I am happy that I've ordered it from GOG, as it has a classic styled katana which looks a lot better than the default one. So far the game is ok. Will see how it looks like when I have played it a bit more.
  8. Which is, like, totally your opinion, man.
  9. She has crazy eyes. I would stay away.
  10. Thing is, how would you exterminate them all? Usually they go hiding between normal civilians / peeps who don't have much to do with it. So you would not just battle them, but also innocent folks.
  11. Only God Forgives... Didn't liked it. Way too over the top artsy. Drive was a damn great movie, but this one... it's just trying way too hard.
  12. Would be kinda scary to see rich people removing parts of their limbs, so they can wear cool mechanical replacements. I am wondering if we could reach a Deus Ex: Human Revolution kind of (social) level with this stuff.
  13. I thought Postal was cool.
  14. Heh, didn't expected the Lexx to be this big. But ok, it is eating planets for fuel, after all...
  15. Sounds really lovely. :>
  16. Maybe they lost sons or something and therefore it was enough to just do vendetta. Who knows.
  17. I love In Bruges. One of the best movies I've seen since a long time. It was damn great from the beginning till the end.
  18. Let's wait a few days, so you can be really sure that you've lost the bet.
  19. Steambox finally arriving? Wouldn't be surprised.
  20. Whatever it will be, I hope it is nothing Star Wars related.
  21. Never got a smack, and I don't think that I "developed wrong" due to this.
  22. Red Dead is, like I mentioned before, Anachronisms: The Game. It's fun, but it's still got the staple Rockstar sense of self-importance and the delusion that they're producing a cinematic production on the level of a Sergio Leone Western. It's pretty sparse, though, it's not a crime game like GTA if you stick to the story. Of course, you're always free to hogtie a nun and drop her on the train tracks. And then wait 20 minutes for the train to finally show up to fulfill your moustache-twirling fantasies. It still suffers from myriad bugs, glitches and freezes, though. I feel like an open world Western game could be phenomenal if executed more properly. I think what is needed is a real western rpg and not a rockstar open world western. Really, Red Dead Redemption is good. But I could never finish it, because at some point I had the same (sometimes more, sometimes less) annoying GTA feeling to me. The game could be so much more than what it is. Also I didn't liked that the "huge open world" isn't that huge actually. The gameworld feels pretty crowded to me, especially the mexico part, where you are riding through long corridor mountain stuff all the time (well, at least as far as I was motivated to play the game).
  23. Counter-point: In a Kojima plotline, out of place technology ranks pretty low on the nonsensical list. But nanomachines!
  24. MGS5 is set after Peace Walker. I don't like this super high tech stuff (holo codec / pda or what is that?), because from a timeline point of view this doesn't make any sense.
  25. The same mechanics are used over and over and over again in nearly every game in existence. I think the more likely scenario is that it's a regular game and you've just burnt out on it. Take a break? I finished it already yesterday. And I took a break of a few months (started it on release, approx 1 week later I stopped playing until two days ago). Sure gameplay mechanics repeat often in games, but it's the first game (at least what I remember right now), where I have to "find" so many ladders or use palettes to transport a person over water. At some point I just thought "damn, it's not even 10 meters, why they don't try to swim over, helping each other?!" Anyway, generally the game is good. I wouldn't replay it anytime soon, though. It's way too linear for my taste.
