  1. Agreed, but the beginning is super slow and boring, imo. Also I heard you can't play with people from other factions if you don't have a subscription(?) of some sort? Right now I find it extremely annoying to find the items to craft basic stuff (and it took me a few hours before even that was possible, I think). Also I have no idea how to study new styles, etc.
  2. Played the TESO Beta for a while. Graphics are good for an MMO, and it does look a bit like Skyrim. Other than that, I find it super boring, just as the Neverwinter MMO. Maybe I am just not open for this type of game anymore nowadays, no idea. In any case, paying 50 dollar for it and then another 15 dollar per month would be a huge no-go for me.
  3. Never forget the 500 endings of Fallout 3.
  4. I am working in a team of 12 women. I am one of 5 men in the whole building and It's awesome. Being young and in school (or something similar) and the only male in class sounds even more awesome, to be honest.
  5. I wonder why everyone wants importing saves so hard. Me personally, I couldn't care less about it, especially because such a feature will never have big impact on the game.
  6. I'm amazed to hear that they do. https://www.google.com/search?q=skyrim+best+writing+award&oq=skyrim+best+writing+award&aqs=chrome..69i57.4325j0j8&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8 Google's not coming up with anything of the sort for Skyrim. http://www.gamechoiceawards.com/archive/writing.html Fallout 3. I did think it was more than one of their games. *shrug* Though it was funny seeing people praise the Skyrim Thieves Guild questline here and there after I read Shamus Young's breakdown of how stupid the questline is. http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=14422 Heh, that quest made me lol. By the way: I actually think this could be quite funny at the end of players life. There are so many quests in the game that apparently link you up with some god after your death that when you finally die, you would have all these gods trying to get your soul. It just screams for a super big clusterfck and I am highly interested in what the outcome would be.
  7. I'd say one must watch Fight Club and then wait a few months. Then you watch it again and realize how your world is breaking together.
  8. That's so super creepy.
  9. I don't know what I see there.
  10. I hope the new book gets a German translation soon.
  11. Oh god, I played this a lot like a million years ago.
  12. Did some Rome 2 again. With the latest beta patch, some things actually changed a lot for the better now. For real.
  13. Re-watched Tremors yesterday. I like all the 4 movies and will continue with Tremors 2 now.
  14. Yeah, changing the cell type to "text" usually fixes/ workarounds this stuff. It's still super annoying, though.
  15. Is that the original? I don't recall a Brenda's Lab in the second. (If so, what's the original like compared to the second?) Definitely the original. It is much rougher than JA2, but it has quite a bit of charm to it. JA1 and JA2 play quite different though, because JA2 added all the stuff like soldier stances, "real" travel on worldmap at any time, training militia, etc. If JA1 would have been released last year and JA2 this year, people would rage about the heresy and all the changes. :>
  16. That looks pretty good. Makes me wish to have the skills to do stuff like this too.
  17. Watched Kick Ass 2. Not a bad movie. Was pretty much what I've expected.
  18. Watched the first season too by now, and I feel the same. They tried a bit too hard most of the time and the end felt really weak. It could have been a quite good story, imo, but they rushed and apparently had to finish it already in season 1. Also there was no real character progression. Just fan-service with characters from the original Avatar show.
  19. The graphics look really good and all that, but I can really feel how the game would bore me to death already after just two days.
  20. Finished the ArmA3 campaign episode 2. It could have been really good if there wouldn't have been so many wtf moments for me... Most annoying thing: The ai of my squad members. Running out of ammo and there are so many dead bodies around me, yet when I tell them to pick up a gun, they run into the sundown to whatevertown. Or when they lockup in combat and by the love of god just don't want to retreat. Well, so far it is still better than the ArmA2 campaign.
  21. The World's End. Was ok-ish. Not bad, but I wouldn't want to watch it again anytime soon. But I want to listen to the Sisters of Mercy now.
  22. Need to google that thing, because as of right now, I've never heard about it.
  23. I am still pretty good at old games that I've played a lot back in the days. Like Jagged Alliance 1, for example. But I've never really played Deadly Games and when I try it now, I suck at it very hard and usually give up way too fast... Even though it's pretty much the same game.
  24. Strange, I don't think that I got a link with a code to get the game. Do I get a mail with that stuff or do I have to login somewhere? Can't find anything about it right now. Reminds me that in theory I even had beta access... /Edit: Ok, found something about it. Had to go to www.humblebundle.com then scroll down to the bottom and click the "lost key" link. Then I typed in my kickstarter mail and connected my account with steam.
  25. My Skyrim dude, called Gaius. I'll guess he is something like a frumentarius, though, sometimes I find it strange that stormcloacks are surprised I am with the imperials, even though I am running around in imperial armor almost all the time... This game seriously lacks a disguise system similar to that in New Vegas.
