  1. Yes Please!! I've been wanting this myself. especially for the Burg.l missions to craft an item, I have 3 of them already, let me dismantle them after crafting like we can everything else.
  2. What set bonus or mutation is confusing? i find them all to be pretty straightforward. I think the "clues" they give in the wording are plenty to figure them out and make it fun.
  3. I like it all but the mice. Mice = hantavirus = death I vote no mice. Besides that, they're 10 times our size, there wouldn't be a fight, we'd hit them they'd shrug it off as a bug, if it did get through their hair and hurt we'd be dead. to add to the charcoal, that could be harvest for many things. painting your skin to go out on night missions, altering your scent to avoid mosquitoes that are supposed to be coming, coloring for decorations, or a water filter system (along with sand from the sand box).
  4. that's an idea. Once the other labs are opened up maybe a fast travel between labs only. from Oak Tree to Hedge, etc., and other labs put in the game later.
  5. suggestions are fine keep them coming. I'm just disagreeing with you, it's part of having a discussion that these forums are here for. If everyone just jumped in and agreed what's the point?
  6. Just circled the oak tree, acorns are spawning more frequently than over night. By the time I circled the tree, killed a wolf spider and got back to my starting point those first acorns I harvested were back. I got 27 shells total in that one trip. So unless my memory is faulty on which ones I started with (I start with the same 3 every farming run though) we could basically never run out. Based on what I just did I now think acorns are too numerous.
  7. didn't look very hard for that did you? https://trello.com/b/6JQdnYtM/grounded-issue-tracker
  8. oddly enough i built a trap farm for weevils in my game. it caused huge lag at my base at the machine but now i have about 20 stacks of weevil jerky.
  9. gas arrows work great for that. I'd rather not see a full game reset, some of us don't have that issue.
  10. intersting. i've been thinking about some of this myself. I don't think we'll get seasons. Just because they'd have to implement a growth system and that's a heck of a task. We've talked about weather before. I would love to see storms. Rain and hail, temp drops that affect players and bugs. Wind. there's a top in itself. High wind gusts that could blow things around, dust devils that could destroy structures and toss you half way across the yard to you death, unless you have a glider, but then you'd get caught by the wind and wouldn't that be fun! And the rain! bombs falling from the sky. i'm thinking grass plank structures would be severely damaged, sturdy and stem structures would be fine with rain, but if it hailed, grass would be destroyed, stem and sturdy construction damaged. death if you're hit with a hail stone. Flash floods in the ditches and low areas. that would be awesome!
  11. they're not half covered in fuzz, assuming they're fashioned after real mites. I just made a basket, in my game you can barely see inside it. I find it easy to see what was used for the basket. 1 leaf for the lid, trimmed to size, the others are cut and used to weave the basket. the rope holds it all together in the bottom. Just takes a little bit of imagination. I get that people raised in the age of smart phones don't have that ability, but still it isn't much of a stretch.
  12. Well said. That's my favorite part about this game, there's no pace to it but what you set. On the other hand, for those that have explored every inch of the yard, and want to get back to their home base without spending the few minutes to run there I can see a crafted device for teleporting to your base. There's a few times i wished i had one like when your about done for the night and need to log off (mom, better half, etc. agro maybe? ), but want to get from the rock pile by the water drain and to your home base by the berry bushes. A limited use - like you can only use it once, then it has to charge for 7 in game days (advancing time by sleeping is not counted) i could go for that.
  13. try reducing the amount of saves you have. there's a limit.
  14. yep it happens, they're not required to list every little change. Woven Fiber is now Crude Rope, no other change there than it was renamed. I'm hoping that's due to the coming release of rope maybe? Playing on Xbox One X, all of my saves work, i deleted all of the "unknown" ones. looks like everything from before 8/26 is unknown now, but saves from 8/26 yesterday morning worked last night after the patch. not sure if they didn't before last night, i was a lucky one not affected by the log in issue this week and didn't try them till i read this yesterday evening. Maybe try deleting the number of save games? there's posts about issues with more than 10 saves.
  15. If you want pacifist try the Creative Mode. you can build anything you want there (and things not yet implemented into the other game modes) without killing anything. I do agree we need more blueprints for the junk materials that have hardly any uses now. have to wait and see what they give us.
  16. you can't use the whole of the shell that you harvest, you have to cut off the broken bits and square it up and whatnot, Personally i think the water container is too large, it should be smaller. You're putting in 6 mini drops from the canteen you hold in your hand It should be at least half the size it is if not less. i agree it shouldn't be held straight like it is, i like the alternative of moving the grip more centered, or diagonal with both hands like a rifle, but that's still an awkward way to do it. juice is fine i think. We don't want this turned into a realistic game, it's a fantasy survival sim. I think i'd have to stop playing if it became ARK: Shrunken Kids or whatever. (#NoTaming) The numerous amounts of drops your talking about is from not drinking them. i quit using my dew collector, i have bases built near each juice box now, makes it much simpler, plus you get fed from the drops as well as hydrated. I only see those large number of drops when i don't visit one for a while.
  17. mite fuzz is tiny, it's the red hairs from the dead mite. you shouldn't see them, they're just padding inside the armor. I think it should cost more to use it as small as it is, but i get the need for balance. you'd have to turn the spider armor shoulder and legs inside out to see the leather, the hood i think is all leather (there are no grey colored parts of a spider) with spider bits added to make the eyes. I agree the fangs should be visible and hang down in front of your face. You can't see inside the storage basket (or chest) to see the other leaves used as liners. like the armor above, mite fuzz is tiny, it's from the mite's body you're stuffing, they're not covered in hair like fur, it's sparse. It should cost more, but game balance again.
  18. it's your system. either that or you have a ton of ants in the anthill you need to kill.
  19. I'd rather not see fast travel in the game. the map is small enough it's not needed, even when they build the under construction sessions i don't think it would be big enough to warrant teleporting to base as a default option. Now, if we could eventually craft a teleport device with limited use, that would be cool.
  20. Termites cover the world, but the termite mounds like what I pictured reading your OP don't exist in Cali. The termites prevalent there, dampwood termites, build their homes in existing stumps or whatever. The mound building termites are found in Africa and Australia. That said, after reading your post again, you did say tower. So that could mean a stump is their tower, and there is a tree stump in the yard yet to be included in the game....
  21. ants are still stealing at a distance on my game. new game started after patch installed on 9/4. This has happened to me also. i play on Xbox One X, host was on PC. It happened after being envenomed by a wolf spider and after leaving the poison gas area.
  22. i'd like to see the option to customize the difficulty, somewhat like @nekogod posted. I don't think we should be allowed to adjust the spawns of bugs though. we don't need to be able to modify the whole game. i would like to see a reset option for when the bugs are bugged though, like you get the 100 ants in the anthill, reset them so they wander the yard again, or the 20 gnats around the yard light in the day time. Night time sure, they're drawn to light, but they should disperse and go back to roaming in the day.
  23. Sure why not. I'd probably never use it but it does sound cool, and will give us another use for the feathers.
  24. that's a great idea. However i don't see how this would fit in the back yard in our current setting in California (if that's where our current game really is). I think it would be cool, if we could get different yards in various locations, then have a unique feature like this in each one, an end game type area.
  25. that would be awesome. put it on the hud for the SCA.B. Add one for the spider venom also.
