Low carb diets should not be permanent, as they tend to **** your mind and body up. Works great for temporary weight loss though, especially if you've overloaded on carbs lately. I find the Hobbit diet works best. 6 small and varied meals a day though shopping can be a pain. I got lucky because I work at job that ensures I'll never be obese so I just try to cut back on sweets and chips and soda and stuff.

What Are You Playing Now: The Other Thread

I wanted to grab this on PC as I also have a 2080 Super but the thing is I've already beat on Xbox so I kinda spoiled it already. 'Tis a shame. -
https://www.icegiantcooling.com/ This is great news for cpu cooling enthusiasts, especially Intel users who want to get as high ghz as possible without having to bother with 360mm radiators. And made in America, so that's a plus. Went ahead and preordered. Should be released in time for the new socket 2066 motherboards.

What Are You Playing Now: The Other Thread

I stupidly shot at the corpse with my low gun skills and hit the torso which gave me a morality penalty. Not sure if this will bit me in the ass later or not but I kinda felt like I ignored my instincts on that one and suffered heavy consequences. -

Am totally digging on this transgendered cashier at my local dollar store. Tall and blond, what's not to love?

The Outer Worlds. Easily the best Obsidian game, it shows how far they've come from being Kickstarter Scammers catering to Euro Trash to worthy developers. -
I have to recommend Witcher 3 because it's the only one on the list that I've played and cared to play and got lots of enjoyment out of.

Replaying S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat. It's seemed to have aged well because I'm having tons of fun with it. There's plenty of quests and loot to be had and the gunplay is still a blast. I tend to use 5.56x45 and .45 handgun weapons, upgraded to full effect. Also keep a mutant shotgun handy for close encounters. Don't use grenades much, though you can sell excess for a few pennies. Much better than the original, imo The other good thing about these aging titles is that you can set it to 4k max and get close to 144 fps (provided you have decent hardware) so the visuals can remain in good shape. -
Why do people play divinity: original sin?
ComradeYellow replied to mrmonocle's topic in Computer and Console
I am with you. Never understood the love for Divinity games. I think some people just like games that require environmental intuition to get through, whilst ignoring the bad aspects. To each their own. -
Great game, too short
ComradeYellow replied to BionicKitten's topic in The Outer Worlds: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
If you dive right through the main quests with occasional side quests, it does sort of feel like it's on the short side. It feels appropriately long enough if you actually take the time to scourge the side quests. I was so engrossed in the plot and its sense urgency that I stupidly rushed through the first time, and it just felt like it ended way too soon. Hopefully with several bits of DLC this will be corrected. Which is why I'm gonna sit out another playthrough until a sort of "grand DLC edition" comes out. -
This looks like fun, how do you upload pictures to this thing? I hit 'Print Screen' but it says the files are too big to post. How do I correct that?

Sorry to burst YOUR bubble but the U.S. still technically has hegemony over Europe. Or would you rather have our buddy Vlad take over, hmm?

I live rent free in TrueNeutral's brain. Gives me fuzzies.

And yet you took the time to respond in kind. You're just a Euro punk is all.

What the Hell is this I don't even. I guess I'm doing a great job triggering people if they actually take the time to research and analyze my content and potential background. Truth is, I have much hope for Obsidian after Outer Worlds, but there's some people who stick to archaic notions of how games should be. And us lefties got this. Just wait.

Next consoles don't come out until after that. And last I checked, Europeans were subordinate to Americans.

On the plus side, it'd be a great consideration once Nvidia's new flagship cards come out somewhere also around that time. So perhaps they're inadvertently planning it to be the Launch Title for that sequence of events. Whatever misgivings I have about the plot/setting/character building, perhaps it can breakthrough new grounds on hardware development and visuals.

Likewise, nice non sequitur(s).

To be honest, I never had high hopes for Cyberpunk. Think about it. Cyberpunk was a concept developed in the 1980's when it looked like Japanese and other Asian markets would take over the West Coast, which is a completely irrelevant concept today, as Japan has been in an economic slump since the 1990's. During the Obama years, when C77 was conceptualized, Cyberpunk seemed to be gaining steam with the releases of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Mankind Divided, and the success of Shadowrun on Kickstarter, due to Obama's friendly approach of outsourcing jobs to China to keep consumer goods in the U.S. flowing. The Trump era sort of killed all of that because his orange tint is doing a great job at burning up the idea of a metropolitan dark dystopia that seemed to fit just a few years back, and his attempt at starting trade wars with China, completely reversing the process. They're probably stumped now as to how they're gonna wrap the game up as it doesn't really seem appropriate for the times, and there's only so much filler you can produce. This could be a huge blow to CDPJKR, as it's become apparent that with the success of Witcher 3 they've gotten in over their heads. I still hope for a great game though, despite it all, and the lackluster leveling system they've offered.

Shadow Tomb Raider. I've reached "Hidden City" or whatever it's called and already the game is starting to become rather too easy. I'm a completionist so I have a habit of scourging early parts of the game for everything and then by mid game I'm over leveled and over looted and the game just becomes easy and not so fun anymore. Still a great game, almost as good as Witcher 3. Well, almost almost. But still, it suffers the same syndrome as it where's turbo completionists have it easy once you hit a certain point, even on Hard difficulty (which I am playing, Hard across the board). -
We ain't seen nothin' yet. Edit: And Bernie, Warren, and Gabbard will come to our side. As I'm sure they know the stakes. Neither Trump nor Biden should be president next cycle.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S of the Obsidian Order
ComradeYellow replied to Katphood's topic in Computer and Console
SoC was way more scripted and directed than CoP. You're guided through the game at a steady pace. Doesn't make it bad but that's what it was. And like I said CoP does start out a little rough but once you hit Yanov is when it really shines. There are some decent side quests in Zaton, just the main ones are a little rough around the edges at first with its over saturation of environmental hazards and that's probably what threw off a lot of players. For dedicated STALKERS its on obstacle, for the average FPS gamer it's game breaking.
