I never gave more than 2 fugs about S King anyway. Way too Blue for my liking. He's even calling for aggressions against Iran which demonstrates his ultimate credibility.

My home state (Maine) has a strange history but we could accelerate that this November https://www.lisaformaine.org/ Maine could be the 1st state to elect a Green to the national level and about damned time!

What Are You Playing Now: The Other Thread

Ok I guess it was a v-sync issue and it's cleared up. Playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance, free of charge from Epic Games. One of the best open world games there is. The writing is suburb and so is the character building. If more women were like medieval women then things may be better in society. Doesn't mean I'm calling for a reactionary Christian rollback it's just some women in medieval times seem better in some ways than modern women. -
Gee I should be used to such non-answers at this point but non-answers seem to be leveling up!

On another note, what's with this strange bedfellow between alt right types and hipsters? I consider myself a leftist but not a hipster and I've noticed some alt righty types hanging out at my local hipster cafe. Is it merely a case of opposites being complimentary or is there something sinister going on here?

https://www.pamelaandersonfoundation.org/news/2020/2/13/ub24mku9yrijsxucbb7s4chuft8u3m Letter to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin President of the Russian Federation February 13, 2020 His Excellency President Vladimir Putin President of the Russian Federation Presidential Executive Office 23 Ulitsa Ilyinka, 103132, Moscow Dear President, I am writing to extend our congratulations to Russia on marking the 200th anniversary of the sighting of Antarctica by Fabian von Bellingshausen and Mikhail Lazarev on the 28th January, 1820. Von Bellingshausen’s and Lazarev’s sighting marked the start of a distinguished history of Russian exploration and scientific discovery in Antarctica, enriching our knowledge of this wilderness. Two hundred years on, Antarctica and the Southern Ocean are a very different place from the one that Von Bellingshausen and Lazarev first saw. The region is now on the frontline of the climate crisis and biodiversity loss. Together as a global community, we can put in place measures which will safeguard this precious wilderness in the future. Russia can lead this effort by supporting the designation of marine protected areas in the East Antarctic, the Weddell Sea and the Antarctic Peninsula, helping build resilience in marine life to change. To mark the 200-year celebration of Russia’s commitment to Antarctica, I urge you to strengthen further Russia’s historic legacy in the region by supporting protection of the Southern Ocean. Yours sincerely, Pamela Anderson

Ok does someone want to explain Kingdom Come: Deliverance low fps for me? I got it free from Epic Games today but it doesn't seem to want to run higher than single digit fps. I have a high end PC so that's definitely not the issue. Wtf is choking this thing? -
Abolish the Electoral College. It has served it's last gasp reminder of how bad it is 2000-2016. Trump is literally the same as Hillary Clinton as far as policies go, especially foreign PROTECT ISRAEL AT ALL COSTS policy. Only difference here is that Trump seems to attract the Christian Zionists and white supremacists, and we all know what happens to them in the end. See 1865 and 1945 for reference. Edit: 2025? 80 year intervals ol' whitey seems to need a lesson in manners. We got this.

Witcher 3 style leveling "mechanics" (that word is going to become redundant real fast!) is probably the best basis for modern games/rpgs/Arpgs whatever. You have three color coded skills and you define which color blend reflects you best. It's simple yet complex at the same time. -

It's all about gravitation from concepts. Let's face it, there's a lot of stupid mother****ers who still clamor for Old Skool games and there's plenty of con artists out there trying to cater to such people and take their money. At the same time, there's people like me who hate drab and lifeless glitzy games with no sustenance but at the same time are eager to evolve and enhance these modern designs. Evolution from modern concepts > devolution from old concepts. -

In my experience only stupid people are attracted to isometric RPG's with excess mechanical features. Smart people seem to be attracted to graphics-rich atmospheric games that are simplified. You would think it would be the opposite but the human psyche is indeed very strange. -
ROG Swift PG278QR 165hz monitor (In my experience the right monitor should be priority before adding other specs) 2080 Super Core i5 9600k OC 5.2 GHz 16 GB ram 2 TB Samsung evo 960 SSD cpu bottlenecks on open world games sometimes but all in all I can normally reach 165 fps with the right tweaks.

I would like to play Metro Exodus Sam's Story (Sam is an American Marine who defected to Russia) but unfortunately the game still has crash issues. -

I play as a Shadow. Gives me a solid Green and Blue skill tree to tinker with, unlike the Ranger, which leaves me confined to Green only. -

Epic Games Launcher will be the most significant development in gaming this decade. -
Didn't we already get it in the form of 'Prey'? Which basically came out of nowhere (along with most great games). A licensed sequel just sounds like a cheap cashgrab at this point, catering to dumb nostaligics. The rest of us know better.

Sorry bro I've really reached my breaking point. I would literally team up with anyone right now to stop the gangsters and pillagers in DC and the American Far right, both of which hate my guts, so...

Correct, yes. There's literally nothing wrong with a robust public economic/health/education sector and also a private sector. It's not about taking away anything it's about adding things. More options. Now if we cut the military budget in half, and translate that money to a Green sector in public works, it would uplift society as a whole.

Well hard times call for strange bedfellows. It was evident back then that the West would rather get in bed with the Soviets than the Nazi's. Likewise, I'd rather get in bed with the likes of Putin, XI, and Kim than I would right wing lunatics like Netanyahu and Bolsonaro, even though I don't subscribe to "brutal dictators". Choices and consequences.

Can someone give me a list of these Chinese "wuxia" RPG's? Western RPG's are currently suffering from an identity crisis (well, have been for a long time), though I did love TOW. I never really cared for Jade Empire but I clearly saw that it's one of those games that would grab a niche fanbase. -
*rollseyes* Never change, liberals. Meanwhile, the rest of us will applaud Stalin and Russians for their performance in WW2 despite being dealt an initial bad hand and playing it the best they could. Not a fan of dictatorships or One Party states but credit and respect can go where they're due.

The United States still arms neo-Nazi's in east Europe to keep Russians "back". They're called domestic terrorists locally (though that seems to have eroded a little bit under Trump) they're called Freedom Fighters overseas. But still, more options shouldn't be considered a bad thing...if it's done right. It doesn't necessarily have to be based on moral grounds but what flavor suits you best. I always sided with NCR simply because Caesars Legion didn't suit me, never even considered moral options just the Legion seemed like the idiotic ones. Another opinion: Millennials will make the best games once they're all middle aged+
