Yeah I sent mine back for a full refund, they just can't keep up with Intel's clock speeds and since I work for a living, I don't do anything on my PC than browse and play games so I'm kinda bullet proof to the alleged superiority of AMD Ryzen. Get those clock speeds up and then we'll talk.

Normally I wouldn't even pay a mind to it but I've run across people who consider GOG the antithesis to modern gaming, which kinda triggered me, so naturally I feel compelled to chime in my 2 cents to justify my position.

I have a hard time imagining TOW on GOG, TOW is like a perfectly refined "modern" game and not anywhere near a "classic" (in the current understanding of what a "classic" is). If someone tries to sell it as a "classic" anywhere in the near future, they're being greedy and cynical, which further erodes their credibility.

So it's a more nuanced CoD, I figured as much, which is why I never bother with Tom -Baby Boom- Clancy games. Fighting for Israel and corporate expansionism just ain't my bag. I am ashamed of my country for belittling the spirit of the constitution for Corporate Zio greed. Shame shame shame! Currently am playing Subnautica. It's ok but swim/grinding for resources kinda gets old kinda fast. I'm not sure I grasp what either of these replies mean but the Bush/Obama duo is largely responsible for the refugee crisis in Europe, which is emboldening the European far right, and we can't have that so the solution here is not to invade the 3rd world for resources but to establish a home base and provide developing countries with basic needs where necessary. I'm not a China buff or anything but they seem to have their **** together in that regard. Solidify home turf, provide services overseas for those who need it, w/o bombers and tanks!

Real time with pause is also niche. If they wanna truly capture the modern gaming scene, they need to do 3rd person real time with no control over party members actions, but at the same time offer reactivity and choices and consequences. It's the best of both worlds. The Outer Worlds has literally done modern gaming almost perfectly.

Now is not the time for rugged individualism, now is the time for collective action. U.S. history is full of times we all got together for the common good, and I think now is one of those times. Wait a few more decades and people will decide they wanna go back to rugged individualism again...

I think he's under the impression that pro 2nd amendment people and people who lean socially and economy left-ish are mutually exclusive. I also don't think this is the case writ large but you can't deny the misconception is there.

The majority of police and military will remain loyal to the government, yes. There's always exceptions though, just to make it interesting.
