Yeah my experience with paladins is they are ver effective in the early levels and once you hit mid levels they just become outright boring. Alot of there mid to high level abilities are bizarrely seem to not even work or are maybe even bugged for example: - self immolation kills you (43 raw damage per 3 sec) - hastening exhortation gives +5 dex and is a high level ability that costs 3 zeal - the paladins reviving exhortation does huge damage to you after 15 sec that more often then not kills you. The priests and chanters revive doesnt do any damage to you. - reinforcing exhortation is there best high level abilty by a ling shot but it is only single target and has a really short duration (12 sec) - there passive deflection bonus faith and conviction is a huge pain in the arse to maintain. You will even be penalised and lose deflection is you take just one conversation that goes against there dispositions you can be penalised Screw paladins

Are you wearing the helmet that gives immunity to push/ pull effects? You seriously need it for that fight What does it do in that fight? He never pulled me or something. Yeah it does. It constantly pulls you in so that you are engaged and attacks and terrifies you. I find it hard to believe it didnt do it to you it did it to me Probably every 20 seconds or so

Yeah but you had to cast two salvation of time spells. This would take alot of time wouldnt it? What is the cast time and recovery for salvation of time?

Yeah best advice i could give is dont build pure tanks, they just arent needed even on potd. Build some dps capabilities into your tanks. The game will be alot more fun this way. You will get focus fired with guns on the boat fights if you board them and that is where the pure tanks come in handy the most. You will find ways around this. You mighy have to wait until you hit medium levels before boarding boats. Apart from this issue pure tanks arent needed.

I haven't finished the game yet. Ive started my first playthrough when the game first came out and stopped because they hadn't balanced the difficulty yet. I started my second playthrough when Beast released and then stopped again after i realized the last half of the game hadn't been balanced properly. The one item i did notice that i really wish i had two of was probably the marksmen ring.

The chants you are talking about where really good but you can do them with a ranged based class instead of tankingThe chanters aura is big enough to reach everyone so no need to be frontline But still the worst multiclass you ever played... It is a tie for the worst i have played. Paladin/ barb and paladin/ chanter where both pretty bad
