  1. There is a tremendous amount of confusion regarding the matter and it would be good if OBS could address the issue. All the indicators are that they wont raise it as it would take to much resources to do it and they have run out of money
  2. They dont have power gaming in mind with eveythhing they do. Druids may be the way they are for roleplaying reasons
  3. Go serker or normal? And if serker do u need extra con? The raw damage is a pain and in the butt
  4. Might do that for my next build What is beserker / wiz like? And what stats do you recommend for serker / wiz? Is high con a must? And are they really that good because wizzies allready have access to haste?
  5. Warlock comes online on lvl 13 right, once he gets access to Citzal and can focus on phys dps?And before that is played like jack of all trades offtank/offdps/off-cc?P.S. Ehh, got the nostalgia again about WoW warlock playstyle (from the TBC times..) It doesn't make Blood Thirst and Heart of Fury available earlier; plus by using such overhaul mods it will make harder for me to comment on the vanilla game experience. But I will think about that Yeah you do get it much quicker Check out the mod (there is two versions) https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/175
  6. In beta have played them all.But after release, the only class I haven't tried yet is barbarian. The reason being: - Blood Thirst comes too late. - Heart of Fury is available only to single class, and again only in late game. So the question I ask myself is: do I take barb who can save me in the late game encounters like 5-10s of combat via killing stuff faster because of Blood Thirst; or do I take another dps character who is better during first 70% of the game, which is also currently the harder part. Use Mullit-class unlocked mod on nexus Im using that and deadly deadfire and the game is much better Would you please post the links ? I'm subscribed to the PoE2 beta branch on steam and I'm having a hard time finding an unlocker mod that actually works https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/43 https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/175 Id think carefully about installind deadly deadfire to early unless you really no your stuff. About level 9 would be the best time to install it. The boat battles especially will be extremely difficult if you install it at the start of the game (if you board)

  8. Hanging Sepulchers was just an example. +20 Acc is the cap, but that doesn't mean that +5 or +10 isn't useful. Maybe they need to increase the amount accrued per tick. This is also not taking into account the usefulness of +Damage% (Hunter's Fang) or +Defence (Beast's Claw). I just think that it's a mechanically interesting ability- and I don't think it's terribly overpowered, nor do I think it's terribly underpowered. Good luck
  9. Barbs have other exciting abilities though that takes the edge off The most exiting think about a Paladin is figuring out how to not get burnt alive by Sacred Immolation
  10. Your actually far more better off without a priest in your party. All that time that priests spend casting there shi$$y spells could be spent doing DPS, crowd control or tanking with other classes. Offense is your defense. You kill your enemy quicker then they can kill you. The opportunity cost of having a priest is not worth it
  11. When the enemy concentrates fire on a party member, I always have to drink a potion or use second wind besides casting a priest healing spell. They should revise priest healing spells, the casting times and allow an extra spell for level. Yeah we all no that but Obsidian dont
  12. 1.Priests Very underwhelming spells. By far the weakest caster in the game. Massive long cast times for spells that dont last long at all. For example circle of protection lasts 10 secs and takes 7 seconds to cast. Alot of there heals are applied slowly over time which is not that useful becasue when one of your party members are getting focus fired they need alot of healing straight away, healing them slowly over time is no good to you at all. You feel more limited with priests having only 2 spell casts per level then any other class becasue none of there spells before level 7 really do much at all They are the weakest class in the game at the moment and are in urgent need of a buff
  13. So you have to keep using this talent to add stacks? You cant add stacks with just normal attacks? Really? Wtf That is a complete waste of time no? You have to waste 2 level up choices and then basicaly all your bond for probably 4 or 5 fights to get the max stack. And then it only works on one race? And gets wiped when u rest Am i reading this correctly? I respectfully disagree. I actually think that doing it this way makes the use of the ability more tactical. It forces you make a conscious decision to use Hunters Claw often to prepare for a specific fight where it may be useful, or to use other abilities. I could see it being useful in the Hanging Sepulchers, for instance. You don't really need to blow off all your nice abilities in the earlier fights- but could use those earlier, easier fights to stack Hunters Claw on vessels in preparation for the possible battle with Yseyr. It also has the added benefit of making resting not necessarily the best option to prepare before a big fight. It comes at a huge cost for very little benefit that might not even pay off. A first time player would not be able to use this ability pretty much at all. If you had alot of meta knowledge from previous playthroughs you may be able to set this ability up for " the big boss fight" where you will have maybe an extra +10 to 15 Accuracy and 10- 15% extra damage. Even if you do pull it off that is alot of work to get to this very underwhelming point at the cost of a huge amount of bond. You would have to fight through multiple fights applying the talent in MELEE (not using ranged ) to get these numbers. Im sorry but this is beyond stupid. Obsidian you do some really great things and some really stupid things and this is the absolute crowning moment of your stupidity. Why introduce such great and varied talents that have such little payoff at such a huge cost? And again the extra accuracey is just not needed. Rangers allready have about 5 talents they can pick to increase accuracy. Why introduce another one? Completely beyond stupid.
  14. Yep i went and checked it in the game Its official. Hunters claw (and fang) are 100% the most stupid and underwhelming talents that have been introduced into the game. They are completely useless. 100 completely frickin useless. I am Just gob smacked at the stupidity of introducing something as crappy and underpowered as this. I just cant believe it Using all your bond every fight for a very small benefit against only one race with only melee attacks is just not practical And the other stupid thing is that rangers dont need anymore accuracey. They allready have so many ways to increase it
  15. There is only so many time you can use sworn enemy and flames of devotion before you go crazy. Over and over and over every fight. Literally. For dozens even hundreds of hours. Pallys are a frontline class so obviously they are going to be doing alot of melee. 2 abilities isnt enough. I personally think pallys are a strong class but defiantly also the most boring class to play
  16. So you have to keep using this talent to add stacks? You cant add stacks with just normal attacks? Really? Wtf That is a complete waste of time no? 17. I think melee refers to both ranged and hand to hand? And to add extra stacking damage do you have to keep using this ability or can you just autoattack?
  18. Ghost heart ranger is possibly an A tier class now.
  19. No to get the extra accuracy you need to hit a creature of the same race. So if you hit a dragon 20 times you would get extra 20 accuracy and plus 20 to all defenses potentialy if you picked the upgrade for it. Rangers are the new boss killer Bonded fury is super powerful. If it works with ghost heart its pretty safe to say that ghost heart rangers are more powerful summoners then chanters now. Far more powerful actually
  20. “The Ukaizo Guardian now spawns correctly when it should.” I love how this was buried in fine print under a spoiler tab lol
  21. I did it, for 105 hours. It definetly affected my plans for what I want to mod about character abilities in general, and about fighter types in particular. Also, imagine my shock when yesterday I found out that many battles are over faster by just select all and auto attack instead of pausing and using spells (abilities). I was aware of this problem long ago. The sad thing is the first game did not have this problem. Spells actually mattered in the first game and had a greater impact. In deadfire all you have to do is auto attack every fight and it’s over no problem
  22. I don't like this ability either, it doesn't catch my eyes as u said, rangers have already a lot acc bonus. The rest two ability feels good tho. I just checked on the BETA. They are upgrades form the accuracy talent so you have to pick the accuracy talent no mater what
  23. Hunter's Claw - (2 Bond) Full Attack, The first target hit with this grants +1 Accuracy vs the target's Race until Rest. Subsequent hits against the same race will increase stacks (up to +20). Resting clears all stacks and allows a different race to be chosen. Good to have new abilities but rangers allready have so many talents that increase accuracy surely they could have done something different here. This is gaming at its worst here
