  1. Yeah alot of the power in the powerful multiclass builds is built in early. They kick but in the first 60% of the game but after that there power curve drops of very sharply
  2. the game is challenging up to about level 12-13 After that it is a cake walk I did the new DLC the Beast of winter at level 14 and it was challenging. The problem was finishing of the rest of the game after that, it was way to easy. I dont think Obsidian have taken this into consideration with there balancing implementations yet. They should have because they reccomended people play BOW at levels 14-15 Best thing to do is play with only 3 or 4 party members

This is insane as alot of them are rendered not really usable because of this You aquire these items late game and you need high pen For example the oathbreakers end 2h battleaxe has a base pen of 7 (+3 for superb ) for a total of 10. This is not really any good to me when you consider i have had to give up either a shield or another weapon in the off hand to use it The great sword called "Effort" is the same. Im finding alot of other unique 2 handers with low pen aswell. at the moment all there good for is low tier trash mobs and you have to switch over to higher pen items for even medium difficulty battles This is has to be an oversight or a mistake

I killed them and my journal didnt update I also couldnt iniate the other quest after this becuase of this initiating The Last Pilgrimage. http://www.neoseeker.com/pillars-of-eternity-ii-deadfire-beast-of-winter/tasks/The_Higher-Ups edit I went back to the cliff top and there was a bear and 1 enemie i killed them and it updated the quest Its still bugged though as it should have updated the first time

  6. There us a new battleaxe introduced in the DLC called oathbreakers end. It has been made 2 handed to use instead of 1 handed . The base penetration hasnt been upgraded to keep it inline with other 2 handed weapons. It has the same base penetration as a 1 handed axe. This weapon is completely useless in its current state
  7. The redhand is on another level better. Perhaps the highest dps weapon you can find I would actually recommend to not use it because it trivializes most of the game. You will just get lazy and autoattack with it instead having to think it needs a huge nerf

OP invested his precious time into trying to beat the game The game ended up beating the OP OP comes onto these forums to vent his frustrations at not being able to beat the game This is probably how he deals with all obstacles that come his way in his life. He gets angry and blames others when really he should be looking at himself
  9. its ok did it MAn took me over 15 goes i reckon I did it by : - you get a helmet called horns of the aurchocs that prevents all pull weapons, i gave this to my ranger who had the red hand and focus fired him with that - ranger using consussive tranq - my wiz had a spare necklace of fireballs thankgod (dragons only low save was reflex) - both ranger and wiz ran back to the kings +50% damage buff whenever it came up - cipher landed some disintegrates Never thought i would say it but my ranger saved the day By far hardest fight in both pillars 1 and 2 by far and no joke another 10 seconds and i would haven been dead had only 2 people standing left Edit Without the red hand arquebus this fight would have been muuuuuuuuch harder.
  10. yeah its level scaling on all upwards and yeah the the lengraths safe guard brings his AR up tp 20 which basicaly means hes invincible for over 1 minute
  11. By far the hardest fight ive ever had in both pillars games PLaying on POTd Party Fighter/ paly Paly/ chanter Monk/ rogue Ranger/ cipher Wiz all level 15 any help would be good thanks
  12. devil caroc breast plate +2 wounds Bracers mortification +2 wounds but that wasnt my question anyway thankyou
  13. Its says in the item description +.3 AR for each wound I start combat with 12 wounds but it only gives me +1AR anyone no why this is doing this? thanks
  14. Just thought I’d chime in by saying the red hand is also bugged with the twin slugs upgrade. It knocks back over the 4m limit it states in the description
  15. One thing that is really important to consider for tanks is be wary of picking classes with abilities that have long cast times to activate. You will get interrupted pretty much most of the time if you want to use those abilities. Go for instant or quick cast times and you will be fine
  16. You will find the game a lot harder not having 2 dedicated tanks on POTD . You will probably find you will be spending a lot of time and resources just keeping the off tank alive. Still very doable but not the optimal way to play. Rogues are far better at ranged in deadfire then melee anyway. You can apply there afflictions in a AOE with the right weapons.
