Is it the quest where you go get revenge on that pirate for attacking you in the start of the game? edit also can you apply afflictions with watershapers focus? or is that just DOT damage eg deep wounds and the rogues DOT afflictions?

Cool. One of my characters is a Wizard/ Rogue So im thinking of doing a blight build because the rogue afflictions can get applied in the AOE of the blights hey?

Yeah ranged monk/ trickster with hand mortar are there any other weapons to apply rogue afflictions in a AOE apart from hand mortar? thankyou edit I just read something about fire in the hole? is that the same weapons but with a different name?

So if you use blights do you get the +20 hit to crit with the one handed style talent? And does anyone know if Merciless gaze stacks with the one handed talent for a total of +35% hit to crit? Also dirty fighting for another 10% so a total of +45% hot to crits with blights thats pretty huge Also does the rod talent work that gives blast? Bit tricky cause blights alleady give blast

Its got 2 upgrades the +20% damage or the cone that disorientates or distracts cant remeber which one it is? Has anyone used the cone effect?

I have a Goldpact Paladin and his disositions are rational and stoic Is there any way to show dialog options for these two like in the first game?

I have seen alot of people saying this weapons is good. I tried it out for a bit and it didnt seem to be laning alot of hits in the AOE that it says it does. Is it bugged or am i not using it right? Im talking about applying afflictikns in its AOE area like confounding blind and the monks stunning fists? Im having alot of success doing this with hand mortar. Man is this weapon stupidly powerful. My rogue/ monk using hand mortar is just blasting the crap put of eveything by applying afflictions in the aoe. Giving a rogue hand mortar makes the rogue better then a wizard at ranged damage and buffing/ debuffing.

How do you win the ship combat then? What is the best way with all the turning, jibing, firing cannons ect?

Im not a fan of the turn based ship combat so im going to try and avoid it. Its alot more fun fighting normaly.

And what is friendly chillfog? How do you do this doesnt it hit eveyone not just enemies?

Yeah you make a really good point here. So the game randomly picks a mix of companions/ sidekicks and crew to help you fight on the deck with ship battles. Are you saying that i can hire high level adventurers then dismiss them from my party and they will appear on deck in the ship battles? If that is the case i would probably be better of with killing of eder, pallegina, serafen ect. This way i wont have them showing up and will have the high level adventurers on deck instead. Anyone try this?

Yeah right. Sounds like i got to: - give my companions that arent in my party equipment? level them up and set AI - Damage the crew with my cannons and then board? This game is insanely fun by the way I havent had this much fun playing a game in years

Before the Figurines got nerfed I just summoned a wall of summons to act as a buffer then i had my casters buff and debuff Cant do that anymore and man this is really really hard....

Like the title says Im playing on POTD and not using any figurines. I am resisting using figurines after they got the nerf. I am getting beaten really easy on these boat fights how are you guys winning them? Im getting focus fired with firearms bad edit..... Ahh i just figured out that some of the enemies on these bouties have like 13 AR My weapons are hardly doing anything at all to them

Chanters should be run Troboudour, Sasha's Singing Sciminat+Xoti's Sickle (Urgent harvest) dual wield with two weapon style, Fleshmender or Garari Cuiress Armour, Rapid Casting and Quick summoning that build is far from a tank

Im really having trouble with my Herald at the moment (Paladin/ Chanter) He is just to slow compared to other melee guys, my arcane knight and my thief/monk who both have access to haste I thought the herald would be a good tank and be able to use summons but by the time he puts plate armor on and casts the summons which have huge cast and recovery times he gets completely smashed I think Im going to kick him out of my party

2 hand mortars? How do you get two of them?

I’m really struggling to justify selecting spells at level up that have long cast times and finding very hard to actually use them in battle. Ciphers seem to have a lot of good spells with acceptably short cast times and recovery’s so I am using cipher spells a lot. Priests and druids for some reason have a lot of really slow casts, druids especially. Quite a lot of there spells are usually something like a 3 sec cast and then a 4 sec recovery and that’s not including any armor penalty which can add substantially more time. On top of that a lot of these spells require a successful accuracy hit vs a stat like will/ fort/ reflex to even hit. Because of all of this I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority of spells just aren’t worth using unless they are fast cast or buffs that buff your own party members so there is no saving throw that can cause the spell to miss. Multiclass melee characters that have quick self buffs in this game are just so much more powerful then casters it’s not funny. Has anyone found anyway around this? And do you think obsidian will recognise this as a problem and fix in future patches? I hope they do.

If you are building a combusting wounds build did you know that Rod with blast model triggers combusting wounds in a AOE?

yeah so I couldnt even have the option to use beraths blessings then i downloaded the beta patch and it was there again ? This is a pretty big bug wonder why it happened. Anyone else get this?

ahh ok so Melee means only hand to hand combat not with bows and guns?

So Does - Barbaric blow - blooded - Carnage - Blood lust - One stands alone says +20% melee damage ? So is that for ranged aswell? - Interupting blows says Melee aswell If this is the case Barbarian would be better rangers then rangers lol

Anyone else have this problem? I reinstalled the game and am not in the patch beta. So the beraths blessings options are completely gone from my game start menu? I was playing around with mods I hope they didnt wreck the game

Yeah i agree. I have not been having luck with both priests or druids either hence why i started this thread. They just cant compete with most of the melee multiclass builds.
