Ive been reading alot of the modders notes. The problem is that Obsidian introduced a flat Accuracy, deflection, PEN and AR penalty for POTD. EG +20 to everything (only an example). This has made the early levels quite hard but as you get to the higher levels you outpace these penalties. The penalties should scale with level they shouldn't be just a flat penalty. They currently dont scale with level. For example your enemies on POTD will have the excact same difficulty bonus to there stats when you are level 1 and the same bonuses when you are level 20. This is just stupid Also the level scaling i capped at six from memory. So if you are level 15 and come across a level 5 enemie he will be scaled up to level 11. This needs to be raised. So easy to fix and such a stupid thing to do with the flat penalties not having them scale with level.

Kitchen stove doing mor You think kitchen stove does more dps then red hand? You are very very wrong Thats no where near the truth. I actuallu did a playthrough with both these weapns getting used and the redhand hand completely blew it away. The red hand was so strong that i won most encounters off its back. If a caster equiped it i didnt even bother casting. There was no point because most spells werent capable of sustaining more damage then it. Even when i equiped it on a wizard i didnt bother casting most of the time

Alot of the balancing problems seem to be focused on Pen vs AR. For example: - As soon as you get Legendary plate for your 2 tanks the game becomes far easier. They need to make legendary armour more rare, you shouldnt be able to just wonder of somewhere and pick it up multiple times. This is one of the big problems i think in why the late game becomes so easy. - The only time i ever have hard fights is when i notice my enemies have high AR. Like literally the only time. This is sad because the game has so many variables and such a wide array of mechanics to utilize but this one mechanic is so strong and plays such an importance that if it overrides all else. - High PEN weapons are simply better then all other weapons. War hammers and maces fit into this category. The counter argument for this point is that lower PEN weapons will be better on fights where the targets have lower AR and the higher PEN weapons will be worse off. This is the huge problem with this mechanic because those fights where the enemies have low AR are so easy that you just dont need to switch over to other weapons anyway. Your already guaranteed of winning no matter what weapons you use. This is the current problem with the Start of the game / End of game balancing issues where the difficulty drops off

100% troubadour. I was like you and wanted to roll a chanter multiclass. I rolled one and was very disappointed. I found that in probably 95% of fights it just wasnt worth using there summons for the following reasons: - i was a tank and the summons have a really long cast time so summon spells got interrupted alot. - i found it more effective to just concentrate on being a tank instead of doing summons - the chanters summons spells are not very strong imo ( weak monsters) - the summons spells that you chose at higher level ups made the lower level ones pretty much obsolete. - the summons just are completely not needed - to me it felt like alot of work an effort to use the summons - you need to accumulate phrases. If you get interupted yoh lose the phrases I play on potd so i can only imagaine that on lower difficultys chanters would be even worse There chants on the other hand where very helpful. The gunnner speed one and the +10 def one where both awesom

So alot of the unique two handed weapons dont have the extra +1 pen that you introduced after all two handers get buffed Just to name a few Oathbreakers End Effort Im sure there are alot more that dont have it applied to yer aswell Both have 7 base pen. For late game weapons this is not enough This is a very big bug as alot of the two handed weapons in the game are useless

So I completed the Beast of winter at level 14 but I now have a huge problem. The rest of the game is so easy that i have completely lost interest in playing it. I am level 15 playing on POTD level scaling all upwards. No Blessings and no mods. I estimate that I have about 50 to 60 % of the game left to play. I have completed: - port maje and islands around port maje - about 70% of the content in neketaka - Arkeymrs quest - Fort Deadlight - Serafens quest - All Neketaka bounties - All Fort Deadlight bounties - Beast of Winter This is all i have done and the game isnt enjoyable any more because it to easy. Unfortunately I am considering shelving the game untill this is fixed. I am seeing alot of other people saying they have the same issues. Can we all please voice our concerns here so the game is properly balanced on POTD for levels 14 and upwards. PS on my last playthough i had the same problem even though i didnt complete Beast of winter. Beast of Winter has just made it far worse IMO.

Just thought i would share with you guys a really cool synergy that i found Use an melee weapon like whispers of the endless paths or the pollaxe (forgot name) to apply artieriel strike then use the the push back effect of rams sprint so you keep blasting everyone back Cool thing is rams sprint costs only one rage so you can keep doing it
