  1. yeah and two handed weapons need an overhaul Two weapon style currenty is vastly superior to a 2 handed setup
  2. They can make the game more difficult without going anywhere near the AI Look at gorrecci st. That fight is hard I’m sure they can do a late level equivalent of gorreci
  3. Na I tried that (not buffing) and trying to hide and I couldn’t do it. Trust me man I spent a lot of time trying to kill that dragon because I went and did it at a very low level. And we have video evidence that safeguard did not work. You can’t argue with that. On my playthrough I could not hide like you did and his safe guard worked as intended. Something is wrong with yours
  4. Troubadour chanter is amazing because you can run 2 chants at the same time that overlap 100% if you have 20 intelligence. Tekehue doesnt get access to this and he also doesnt have access to summons. As far as chanters go he is quite mediocre. Once you roll a troubadour it is quite hard to use any other chanter
  5. Priests being able to cast more spells per level is sorely needed Wizzies get grimoire of vapourers wizardry would be good to see the god bashers get something similar
  6. Ai can allways be improved but i think they have allready acheived peak performance witn it. Cant see them writing a new game Engine 4 months after the game has released. Simply put we are not going to see significant improvements to the games ai imo
  7. The WS focus is currently bugged. Read boererers deep leep build and the comments under it.
  8. You dont find the red hand overwhelmingly good? I smell a biased opinion there. Maybe you dont want the devs to read this and nerf it? Or some other reason? It is pretty clear the gun is ridiculous. You spend alot of time discovering rare synergies aswell remember. The average joe playing this game would never come across ways of achieving dps anywhere near as high as this gun. Maybe this is why you find it not so good.

Lengraths safeguard only gave +1 AR instead of +5 2. The dragon sat there and didnt do anything while the Watcher waited on the bottom left of the screen. Thanks
  10. yeah i think a combination of both the immobilize and the fact you where playing solo enabled you to hide like that. I personally think its a bug in the AI but anyway..............   11. You don't take into account the fact that the base damage for Arquebus is much higher. You mention a lot of the weapon effects of Hunting Bow but if you compare a normal Arquebus next to a Hunting bow thoughs effects are balanced around having different recovery, base dmg, penetration, modals etc.It's simpler to just look at what additional modifiers the weapons of themselves get, to get a comparison on the relative strength of the weapons. Basically the total theoretical dmg output of Red Hand is gonna roughly double that of Essence Interrupter if you have a lot of Guilty Conscience stack. If you compare it to a standard Arquebus it attacks twice (bit less then doubling its dps, due to having two attack animations), then another 40% from max stacked Guilty Conscience. Essence Interrupter gets a 20% Lash effect, which is multiplicative dmg, making it decent. This is obviously simplified and won't translate 100% into game but its close enough to see the massive disparity. Got some feedback on the summon for Essence Interrupter on reddit and it was better then my initial assumption (summoned creature does scale with enemy level), so Im planning to move it into B - Tier atleast but my post seems to be bugged atm. Well, then you don't understand very well how it works... The 20% lash damage basically compensates for the lower base damage. The main dmg advantage of the Red Hand is given by Guilty Conscience which can be used by ALL weapons (and by itself it represents overall only a 10-20% dmg increase - depending on your total dmg bonuses). On the other hand Aamiina's Legacy will shoot at least 10% faster (based on the average attack of a double shot with the Red Hand). That means Aamiina's Legacy has 10% lower dps than the Red Hand in the worst scenario and 20% higher dps in the best scenario (if you're using Guilty Conscience with Aamiina's Legacy) If I understand you correct, you mean that you first stack The Red Hand to max THEN swap to Aaminas Legacy and you retain the buff? That obviously does complicate the calculation, but seems very cumbersome especially since the buff resets on rest. There might be something i'm missing but attacking twice should be a much more powerful effect unless you have insane recovery time compared to a 20% lash. Are you making the case that Hunting Bows are just way better weapons then Arquebus and that compensates for a weaker effect, or that the Lash effect is stronger then shooting twice? It just seems you are only taking into account the positve effects of a Hunting Bow and not the negative effects like lower pen, weapon modal giving a huge accuracy penalty, lower base dmg etc. The main damage advantage of the Red Hand is the ability to shoot twice, not Guilty Conscience. Shooting twice without reloading is like having an arquebus with half reloading time. Rapid Shot does nearly the same thing for the recovery time of the bow. The average base damage of the Red Hand is 23. The average base damage of the hunting bow is 19. That's 21% higher base damage for the arquebus, but Aamiina's Legacy has 20% lash which is almost as good. After that the Red Hand has 3 more penetration and 5 more accuracy but less range and blunted criticals, only a damage type and, of course, the buff (which can be considered an advantage or not). PS. Playing without resting is perfectly viable and the buff is easily obtained if you have a chanter. An extra 3 PEN is a pretty huge. Like out of this ballpark huge Ive played hundreds of hours on POE1 and alot of Deadfire and in the whole time ive been playing these games the red hand is the only weapon i have ever wanted obsidian to nerf. I personally will never use it ever again because you can win most encounters with it by just auto-attacking which is super boring. The fact you can do all this DPS from range without entering combat has IMO been overlooked. It would be far more fun to have a OP melee weapon like the redhand so it actually encouraged you to engage in melee and not just hover on the outskirts of battle blasting everything with it.

So only a +1 bonus Also when i fought the dragon i couldnt hide like that in that bottom corner it would still be able to get to me with spells I don't know, but he gets the bonus AR. I tried to him several times in other tries, but the ar was too high, so i waited this time. If you cast anything like avenging storm, the dragon will recognize you and attack, so i waited till the end of the saveguard. Thats not right Lengraths safeguard clearly gives +5 AR. After he activated it his AR only went up 1 point to 16AR. It should have been 20AR. He didnt get the bonus AR The main problem people have with this fight is that they cant survive the lengraths safe guard becasue he become immortal for over 1 minute. Everyone else (including me) has been unable to hide in parts of the map waiting for safeguard to expire. I dont know why he just stood there and didnt come over to you. He started to come over then just sat there and did nothing. In my playthrough he cast corrosive siphon on me when i tried to do that and it hit super hard. I had tp use alot of heals to get over it. This is 100% and absolutely the first time anyone has reported that you can simply just walk away and wait for the safeguard to expire before reengaging in combat. This is seriously bizare. Maybe because you are playing solo the AI didnt pick it up. Do you have any mods installed? Something is clearly wrong here why his AR didnt go up 5 points and also why he just sat there and ignored you
  13. This is clearly a balancing issue with the game if you got to this point The game is not balanced properly in the last half. Im hoping they fix it in the next patch
  14. At high levels it is pretty much in the same state the game was in before the balancing patch. I dont think they have changed it at all. Maybe they ran out of time
  15. I did like 10-15 fights after beast and they where all a cake walk. This is when i realised something was seriously wrong and i canned my playthrough. The two sets of legendary plate mail i got in the expansion made a big difference when i put them on my two tanks. Both goldpact paladins with the +4 AR gilded emnity talent. So pretty much every fight i had like 17 AR on both my tanks. This pretty much broke the game.
  16. I ran both an essence interupter and redhand build in my last playthrough. It was extremely obviously clear that the red hand out dps it. I kept checking the total damage done on both characters regularly because i was very interested in the outcome. I did not find the summons on the bow that useful. If anything the summons just got in my way and it was not consistently summoning anything powerful. Most of the time just trash. The red hand is clearly a better weapon but the essence bow is also very powerful.
  17. I did the beast at level 14. It was really hard. But this is the only hard fight i came across in the entire game before i stopped playing it.

  19. Yeah in know how they work. Its not hard to associate them with each other. But yes a first time player would find it very confusing along with the other 99% of the stuff in the game. That mod might help them but i definitely wouldnt use it
  20. Yeah but all fights in POTD after you hit level 14 are a complete push over. Its almost impossible to die in them. These is no balance between "Feeling you power and progression" and " Tough fights" It is all one way to easy
