  1. Kill Dorudugan really quickly, yes. Able to tank him? I see no way a single class monk can tank Dorudugan. The only way I could see it work is use the Grog pet (you are immune to engagement) and kite Dorudugan's attacks which pretty much makes you unkillable. Downside to this is that it can be quite tedious microing everytime Dorudugan is about to attack. Kitchen Stove will be a really good weapon considering it has higher accuracy (due to being one-handed) than Frostseeker and shoots 4 projectiles rather 3. Build Resonant Touch until 550 stacks and bye bye Dorudugan. Yes summon and Frosterseeker. with this build, 400stacks is enough. A good tactic AI will save lots time. True, summoning will be a lot easier than microing to dodge every attack of Dorudugan. Kitchen Stove is better. That's weird? I've been testing it just a week ago and 500 stacks (at 35 might) and Dorudugan still has a sliver of health left. I do it at 550 stacks just to have some leeway. 400 stacks should not be enough.
  2. Which builds would you add to that to make it a full 5 man party? Thanks for the reply eventhough it wasn't 100% what i was looking for it's still really cool. It's up to you what you want to add for the other 2 members. Personally I would go for a pure evoker wizard so it can spam (chanter brilliance invocation) the strongest wizard spells like Wall of Colours, Minoletta's Missile Salvo or Meteor Shower as it stays from the back. You can also have a ranged crit machine helwaker which gets crazy +10 might, +10 int, +10 accuracy from wounds, +12 accuracy from enduring dance. Have double mortars and you can spam stunning surge in a HUUUUGE AOE to mobs stunning them for a LOOOONG TIME. Also your stunning surge gets refunded as you will crit a lot. You want to kill a beefier single target enemy? Switch to a single kitchen-stove (4 shots per attack) and stack resonant stacks. Dorudugan only needs 550 stacks to denotate him to oblivion.

  4. A 3 man team that will easily carry you all the way to the 4 megabosses: Single Class Barb Single Class Chanter Multi-Class Priest/Paladin How it works: Retaliation Barbs (pick human for better synergy) have one of the highest if not the highest DPS in-game due to the fact that they pretty much insta-attack without recovery. Add an Estoc (Blade of the Endless Path is the best Estoc simply for the crazy accuracy buff and enemy deflection debuff) to that and lower your deflection (using the modal) further down to 55 deflection and you'll be proccing it pretty much all the time. Shroud of the Phantom + Effigy's Husk + Effort is pretty troll too against mobs. But if you want to destroy a durable single target enemy, the use Blade of the Endless Paths. Priest is used for Barring Death's Door + Salvation of Time to have infinite Barring Death's Door on our Retaliation Barb. Priest also has some nice buff spells. I multi-classed it with Paladin so we can beef up our Priest to have excellent durability. It's pretty much a utility, healing, buffing tanky asf bot. We have a pure chanter because we need his brilliance invocation so the priest can keep spamming SOT on the BDD'd Barbarian. It lets our Barb spam Barbaric blows too but the crazy thing is, his main damage source is still the retaliation attacks despite Barbaric Blows being pretty damn strong. So now we have a Barb comfortably sitting at 1hp, not dying and has a damaging 2H weapon doing insta attacks... It's simply game-over for the enemy.
  5. I actually find Rogue not the best. My top four would be chanter, paladin and monk and wizard. Why Paladin good sir? Because of the high armor and very good heal options. Herald is one of the few classes, that can solo everything. It's impossible for a herald to kill Dordu but it will tank him forever. Same goes for the slime, can tank it forever but not enough damage to go for the kill. There's a video of a herald soloing both of those encounters, using the skeleton chant for Doru and splitting the slimes with the weapon summon. That's Kaylon's build. He is actually here on the forums. I forgot about that. It's because I feel his Dordu strategy was a bit cheese but nevertheless amazing. And yeah the slime fight is actually brilliant despite it going on for 55 minutes haha. You are right, the herald can do it.

  7. Most of his fights are boss battles, not megaboss. For Nemnok he just shows fighting Nemnok alone, which seems odd to me (see my post above). For other fights like Memory Hoarder and Eyeball FS boss (Oracle) he deals with their adds too. I'd like to see how his builds do on maps where you pull a ton of mobs, like Splintered Reef sea-lashed crypt entrance and even Nemnok other floors. yeah that's what i meant. pretty much 99% of the game is normal mobs for me (because they are that easy) apart from the 4 megabosses which offers considerably more challenge than the rest.
  8. he is fighting normal mobs? a lot of builds out there which can solo normal mobs. megabosses is where the true solo is. raven darkholme pioneered a lot of his build ideas so now people can solo it.
  9. Hello? How is this going? My problem is still NOT resolved. I haven't heard from you guys in a long time.
  10. Nothing beats Hylea's Bounty for a tank. In POTD against megabosses, hot razor skewers is pretty much needed if you are using weapons or Crusted Swordfish for spells. How good a food is really depends on the situation. Say for belranga, shark soup is so good to be immune so you don't insta die...
  11. Troubadour is ridiculously good, I don't see any point in using other Chanter subclass. Paladin, any subclass can be good but I prefer Goldpact and Bleak Walker.
  12. Copied from my reply in beating megabosses thread. Alright so here is the pally/wizard deflection build for dordugan facetanking. Sadly can't kill dordu but will tank forever. (TESTED btw on POTD upscaled) Make sure you are using blood mage subclass for wizard btw. So you can keep recasting wizard self buffs and never run out of resources. Rekvu helmet (stop interruptions) Bonesetters Torc necklace (get that hp regen boi!) Casita Semelia armour (for deflection) Cape of Falling Star (for deflection) Greater Deflection gloves (gor deflection) Ahu Taka boots (get that hp regen boi!) Psychers belt (get that hp regen boi!) Ring of Greater Regen (get that hp regen boi!) Entonia Signet ring (for deflection) Giftwrapper pet (more healing! and that +1 armour) Weapon we use is Kapana Taga as it's got +5 accuracy, +1 armor, +4 deflection when no allies are around and +4 accuracy for each engaged target. Shield we use is Bronlar's Phalanx as it has +10 deflection at 50%hp as well as crazy buff with stand firm at 25%hp or lower (sadly, we don't go even go less than 30%hp on this build) Why no Rekvu cape for Dordu meteor? Because we have so much deflection we don't get hit by his meteor attack. Why no Cadhu Scath? Bronlar gives better deflection even with Cadhu being at 24 athletics. Also we want to hove around 50%hp to get use of Llengrath's safeguard Late game stat distribution should be (assuming no rest buffs) Mig 25 (more healing) Con 10 (we want to be chunked to 50%hp quicker to proc Llengrath's safeguard which is one of our main defense component) Dex 10 (don't need it) Per 25 (we want to be more accurate but sadly even at 25 accuracy, we only have a paltry 111 accuracy total which has 28% hit rate on Dordu) Int 20 (good for abilities to last) Res 20 (for deflection mainly) We only use 2 spells in this build. Every other spell it's up to you. We use Arcane Veil and Llengrath's safeguard. DO make sure to get the paladin passives to make you tanky. Don't forget to activate large shield modal as it is necessary against the meteor attacks. This is the ai parameters so you don't have to control your character and you can just watch: self: has concentration (tick not) arcane veil 0cd always true llengrath's safeguard 90cd self: health below 50 (tick not) blood sacrifice 5cd Make sure to eat for Hylea's bounty as it just works so well for this build! Also you need to self kill yourself with necrotic lance to gain acute rash wound (the best wound to have as it's penalty is so low -5 fortitude, -3 corrode armor) so your rekvu helmet can work You should have a base of 188 deflection + 50 from arcane veil, armor rating of 22 (slash and shock at 20, corrode at 19, fire and burn armor at 26 because im pale elf), exalted endurance heals for 7hp, bloodmage passive heals for 10hp, ring heals for 6hp, pet heals for 2hp. It's pretty insane how tanky this build is. There is also an immortal build by Raven Darkholme there as well as it being able to kill Dorudugan. But there's a possibility a component of the build may be nerfed resulting in the build not working in the future.
  13. 5 man chanter is pretty damn stupid. Chanter seems to synergise well with every class too.
  14. Yeah, I wish people stopped posting op solo builds because I'm pretty sure Obsidian staff visit the forums a lot and check what's op or not... Another build bites the dust :/
  15. You can test it in-game using the console! I would but I'm too busy playing they are billions right now.
  16. Also, just a heads up. I've downloaded deadly deadfire mod from Nexusmods back in 1.1 days. I was thinking maybe it's the cause of my inflated stats? But I deleted it already through the pillars 2 mod menu so it shouldn't be causing the inflated stats. My saves are above btw.
  17. With the introduction of megabosses, especially Dorudugan, it's very hard to make solo builds right now. So far I've only seen 3 solo builds that work against Megabosses - paladin/chanter, blood mage/priest, blood mage/tactician
  18. this is pretty much like victor creed's build isn't? (raven and victor are the same) but props to you for using minoletta's piercing burst though! that's something new.
  19. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_-gXumeeTn1BKgkuGYOvkh7c_dMor2tG/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Amq2rK52LEYiSqIpwj6yifS3-gn2GH2t/view?usp=sharing I got two save files. I summon in Dorudugan using the console commands. So you guys will have to summon him. His stats will be inflated for some reason.
