  1. Thanks for this Boeroer. What do you think is the best weapon for a monk DPS wise if I'm looking to go swift flurry and heartbeat drumming route? On the other thread, someone told me fist + scordeo's edge will offer the highest dps if you can crit most the time. Or is there anything better? ^^ for single target damage by the way.
  2. xefa and kitchen stove have multiple targets too. each attack actually fires 4 bullets so blunderbuss is really good for mobs too.
  3. Eder as swashbuckler with reckless brigandine armor, kapana taga weapon and akola's apex ward large shield mows mobs while being tanky asf. Stack as much +1 engagement and armor as high as you can through items and skills. It works so well especially once you unlock mob stance for fighter and persistent distraction for rogue. With Aloth, go pure mage. Tier 8 and 9 wizard spells are devastating. With Serafen, I would actually go for pure ranged cipher either will dual blunderbuss/mortar so you can build focus quick. Ciphers have really powerful tier 8 and 9 skills too. And since you were talking about replenishing resources, Cipher has a spell that does that. So you can use Serafen to replenish Aloth's spell resource. With Xoti, SC monk all the way, no doubt. It's that strong. She will be your highest damage dealer. You don't need to worry about priest because Eder will TANK all the mobs very easily without any healing whatsoever. Since you've stacked + 1 engagement items on Eder, the enemy won't be able to attack your backline as they will be focused on Eder.
  4. you literally just equip two hand mortars and use stunning surge. you gain + 10 int with turning wheel so your hand mortar aoe becomes bigger. so when you use stunning surge it hits in a big aoe, stunning mobs for a loooong time. and since you will be aiming a bunch of mobs, you are bound to crit hence you can keep spamming stunning surge. i would actually say double hand mortar stunning surge combo will deal with mobs better than double hand mortar whispers of the wind.
  5. does ajamuut's passive work on megabosses? or is there a hidden vs fortitude for the stun to work?
  6. *not my video btw, but the guy here pretty much got his inspiration from what we talked about in the threads here.
  7. if you are playing on potd, you will lose out on accuracy which is very important so that's a trade-off.
  8. I'm trying out priest/blood wiz combo but I can't seem to get enough BDD time through SOT. The timer runs out quicker than I can spam SOT on it when brilliance is active. How do you people maintain the BDD duration? All tips and advice are welcome.
  9. How's the progress on your build Djinxy? It can tank it for hours, but eventually a string of bad rolls kills it. Several crits or interrupts in a row kill it depending on gear. The longest it lasted was 5-6 hours. I haven't found a way to get it to stay up while strictly using auto attack to put him down. Moving gear and stats around to add to damage or take away from it's healing have resulted in shorter times staying alive so far. The odds are definitely on the house. I'll give it another go tonight. The challenge is keeping it from healing massive amounts. Even if I can cut that down by a few percentage points it makes a huge difference. Try the paladin with unbroken and it will last forever. The only bad thing about it is it won't be able to kill Dorudugan (not enough damage to outdamage Dorudugan heals).
  10. Yep, armor stacking works against Dorudugan as shown by Kaylon's build. Think you might be better off with Unbroken/Goldpact.
  11. Drop the other three and keep Nalpazca Monk and Herald Pellagina. Use pellagina for summoning ancient weapons as well as the chanter phrase that summons skeletons. I've tried this with a troubadour subclass so I don't know if this will work with normal chanters but I think it should. The summons should keep Dorudugan busy. Make sure to spread out the ancient weapons so when Dorudugan does the meteor shower thing, one of them should survive. Make sure pellagina has exalted endurance (hp regen per 3) and any other hp regen items as well as having enough burn armour (only meteors will hit her as the summons will do the tanking while she stays near Dorudugan NOT attacking him). I recommend horn of auroch helmet so he can't pull you either. For the Nalpazca Monk, get frostseeker. Normally I would recommend kitchen stove but that has too low range when you don't have a proper tank and you only rely on summons for tanking. With frostseeker excess range, you should be able to reposition if Dorudugan kills all the summons and starts coming towards you. Stack all +accuracy items and have the captain's belt so Dorudugan can't pull you. Also make sure you have Revku Cape (turns all fire damage to healing) so you don't die fcrom Dorudugan meteor attacks. To proc it you can have Pellagina force attack your Nalpazca Monk and kill your Nalpazca Monk to gain an injury before the fight. Equip the grog pet so that in the unlikely scenario Dorudugan reaches or use his pull power thing your Nalpazca Monk or Pellagina can just run away. This fight should take you 15-20 minutes as you only need to have 550 stacks of resonant touch to denotate Dorudugan. So do stack alot of drugs in your monk invnetory. But that should not be a problem as a drug lasts for around 250-300 seconds. There you go, easy peasy. I can confirm that 550 stacks is not enough to kill him on POTD with level scaling. I have gotten him to near death, but no closer. This fight is the worst part of this game. So tedious. In fact, 700 stacks was too few. WHY!? I've actually had a conversation about this with 2 people before on the other thread. One person was claiming 400 stacks was enough for them. The other person had the same issue as yours. The Dev gave me a command line to spawn a Dorudugan with accurate stats so this is what I use, LaunchRandomEncounter RE_Hellfire_Construct. Try fighting this Dorudugan. At POTD Upscaled difficulty, my level 20 Helwalker monk with 35 might only takes 550 stacks to kill Dorudugan. I try to detonate it when he doesn't have the Charged Helstorm buff. Ah, I think that's the problem right there...I went for a perception/dex build druggy monk based on sin tee's build. It worked until the patches came, and now I'm stuck with a Monk with 11 might...And, uh, that command doesn't work. Looks like you just gotta keep stacking then XD Well first you have to press "~" on the keyboard to open the writing thingy. Then you write in "LaunchRandomEncounter RE_Hellfire_Construct" then voila! If it doesn't work then you might have to enable the cheat command (this will disable achievements) by writing "iroll20s" first. Once you have enable the cheat command, you can even change your monk stats so you can minus 10 from your dex and add 10 your might by going attribute score (press tab and it will guide you). You can even completely respec your character by writing "opennewcharactercreation" so you can respec it.

  13. Pale Elf - lots of bosses do fire/frost damage so that +4 armor is damn stupid for a tank Human - if you are going to synergise it with say barbarian, rogue streetfighter or barring death's door and plan to be lower than bloodied most of the time then this is a must. Crit Orlan - really good for ranged units

  15. I've posted this from the other thread before but this might give you some ideas: A 3 man team that will easily carry you all the way to the 4 megabosses: Single Class Barb (berserker) Single Class Chanter (troubadour) Multi-Class Priest/Paladin (eothas and whatever you want) How it works: Retaliation Barbs (pick human for better synergy) have one of the highest if not the highest DPS in-game due to the fact that they pretty much insta-attack without recovery. Add an Estoc (Blade of the Endless Path is the best Estoc simply for the crazy accuracy buff and enemy deflection debuff) to that and lower your deflection (using the modal) further down to 55 deflection and you'll be proccing it pretty much all the time. Shroud of the Phantom + Effigy's Husk + Effort is pretty troll too against mobs. But if you want to destroy a durable single target enemy, the use Blade of the Endless Paths. Priest is used for Barring Death's Door + Salvation of Time to have infinite Barring Death's Door on our Retaliation Barb. Priest also has some nice buff spells. I multi-classed it with Paladin so we can beef up our Priest to have excellent durability. It's pretty much a utility, healing, buffing tanky asf bot. We have a pure chanter because we need his brilliance invocation so the priest can keep spamming SOT on the BDD'd Barbarian. It lets our Barb spam Barbaric blows too but the crazy thing is, his main damage source is still the retaliation attacks despite Barbaric Blows being pretty damn strong. So now we have a Barb comfortably sitting at 1hp, not dying and has a damaging 2H weapon doing insta attacks... It's simply game-over for the enemy. The last 2 members are optional so it's up to you what you want to add for the other 2 members. Personally I would go for a pure evoker wizard so it can spam (chanter brilliance invocation) the strongest wizard spells like Wall of Colours, Minoletta's Missile Salvo or Meteor Shower as it stays from the back. Or as Thelee said, Petrification is very effective against Dorudugan if you can land it so feel free to spam that too. You can also have a ranged crit machine helwaker which gets crazy +10 might, +10 int, +10 accuracy from wounds, +12 accuracy from enduring dance. Have double mortars and you can spam stunning surge in a HUUUUGE AOE to mobs stunning them for a LOOOONG TIME. Also your stunning surge gets refunded as you will crit a lot. You want to kill a beefier single target enemy? Switch to a single kitchen-stove (4 shots per attack) and stack resonant stacks. Dorudugan only needs 550 stacks to denotate him to oblivion. Thanks for this. But I think it will still take too much time. I'll probably live it for my next pt. Maybe. The 3 man party usually takes 20 - 25 minutes but if you had the Monk build I suggested, it takes around 15-20 minutes to build 550 stacks to blow him up.

  17. Kill Dorudugan really quickly, yes. Able to tank him? I see no way a single class monk can tank Dorudugan. The only way I could see it work is use the Grog pet (you are immune to engagement) and kite Dorudugan's attacks which pretty much makes you unkillable. Downside to this is that it can be quite tedious microing everytime Dorudugan is about to attack. Kitchen Stove will be a really good weapon considering it has higher accuracy (due to being one-handed) than Frostseeker and shoots 4 projectiles rather 3. Build Resonant Touch until 550 stacks and bye bye Dorudugan. Yes summon and Frosterseeker. with this build, 400stacks is enough. A good tactic AI will save lots time. True, summoning will be a lot easier than microing to dodge every attack of Dorudugan. Kitchen Stove is better. That's weird? I've been testing it just a week ago and 500 stacks (at 35 might) and Dorudugan still has a sliver of health left. I do it at 550 stacks just to have some leeway. 400 stacks should not be enough. I had 31 might and 700 stacks were not enough, he had a fraction of hp left, so i think 750 is enough. But after you use resonant touch, your fps drop to 2-3. The Dev gave me this command to have a Dorudugan with accurate stats so this is what I use, LaunchRandomEncounter RE_Helfire_Construct At level 20 with 35 might, it should be at around 550 stacks to blow him up. On PotD Upscaled? Because i tried it with 600 stacks (bloodied) and 700 stacks (fraction of hp) and 31 Might. Any suggestions for Belranga? I think about Greater Maelstrom scrolls for the mobs and Long Pain, when she starts to attack in melee mode. yep, POTD upscaled. You just do the same thing as Dorudugan. Stack resonant strikes and detonate. But before that, take out some spiders until Belranga's deflection is low enough. I would switch some gear too so the small spiders deal -75% damage to me and have some healing. Also leave some spiders infront of you and Belranga should not be able to melee you. After that, it's pretty much GG Belranga was pretty easy =) Only 11 Minutes haha ;D But i still don't understand, why my Dorudugan needed so much more to kill. try out the command I gave you. You should only need 550 stacks at 35 might level 20 potd upscaled.

I can ask for more details. As for melee, battlemage and arcane knight are much easier in my opinion. You just need 167def and 166for for cri immune, summon flank, dodge most of cleav and prevent its self healing by moving away(Deleterious Alacrity of Motion). A simple adventurer with good gears and food buff is good enough to solo dordugan in melee. If you gonna do that, you might as well just run a melee helwalker (more damage) and use the pet grog. Same thing, dodge the attacks while deal damage. No need for tanky stats.
