  1. Yeah I do agree with you. Monk fists are the strongest weapons in-game right now. They do crush damage, have bigger damage than greatswords and they hit as fast as daggers. Also yes, the crit infinity loop seems to still happen with melee weapons if you have swift flurry + hb drumming but it's not as bad as before. Maybe 3-4 attacks in a row. Still needs nerfing though.
  2. Also, I bet you not a lot of people know how to test builds efficiently. Did you know about this? I would say Voltron is the only one doing the same thing that I could see because no one brought this up yet apart from him. "If you are a hardcore min maxer like me I suggest you get the unity console on Nexus Mods. It allows you to make builds from scratch. There is a cheat to change your classes, increase your levels, give you the items you need. You can pretty much try out any build your mind conjures. And there will be a lot you'd wanna try! That way you will know what skills works and what skills don't work." "There are console commands ingame with ` then iroll20s then there is a console command that spawns monsters. So for Guardian of ukaizo it would be spawprefabatmouse cre_ukaizo_guardian. That way you can test your new build in how it handles different kinds of enemies." This my previous reply to someone in this thread btw hence I quote myself XD
  3. You'll be surprised because not a lot of people dont know how to make a solo build that works in potd. Just look at this thread for example. One said to me, "How many blessings do you use and how often do you abuse choke points?" ^ indicating that he can't believe a build can solo the game without some form of cheese One said to me, "I am really looking forward to such builds and in particular screenshots/videos of them in action." ^ indicating that they don't know how to make a build than can solo the game And you have to add the fact that we are in the character builds subforum of this forum. Boeror has also made a build compilation list. So the knowledge of the people in this subforum regarding solo builds should be high right. And yet I still got question and statement like that indicating that yes not a lot of people don't know how to make a solo viable build for potd 1.1. Do note I'm playing with level scaling mod from Nexus too and I've tested all the marked (solo potd: yes) builds from Boeror's compilation list. Let's just say only a tiny amount of builds that were marked (solo potd: yes) were able to solo the game with the level scaling mod installed. But all I can say is arcana based alchemy based builds are so bonkers that they make the game a cakewalk even with level scaling mod installed. Hope it gets heavily nerfed.
  4. Check my post below. I accidentally reposted my new post and I can't seem to delete this.
  5. It's called min-maxing. Any way to legitimately and fairly make your character stronger is good. Hence that's why you can use op arcana buffed scrolls and op alchemy buffed potions and majority of people would still be fine with it. In my 3 builds I had to restrict myself from using those because I deemed them way too op but that does not detract from the fact that an arcana/alchemny based build is still a legitimate build because you are just employing the tools the game has given you. Also, look at the builds posted in here. Boroer made a compilation. I bet you they'll be using the +Attribute Berath's Blessing too. 15 achievement points for the increased attributes blessing is pretty easy to get. I'm sure a fair amount of people will be using it too as it it's very accessible. This is because people don't really tinker with builds until their 2nd play-thru so by then people will have more than 15 achievements points and they can easily get the +attributes for 15 points because that's the only blessing you will ever really need.
  6. The only blessing you will ever need is the blessing that gives you +2 to all stats. That way you can have 20 3 stats while leave the other 3 stats to 10. So in character creation you would go ie. 18 might, 18 per, 18 int and 8 on everything else. When the game starts you get 20 might, 20 per, 20 int and 10 on everything else. And the good thing about my builds are they involve 0 cheesing or abuse of game mechanics whatsoever. I like to have straight up slugging fights with no stealth cheese, no choke point cheese, no op arcana scrolls, no op alchemy potions. Just a clean build + the right equipments. Also, if you are a hardcore min maxer like me I suggest you get the unity console on Nexus Mods. It allows you to make builds from scratch. There is a cheat to change your classes, increase your levels, give you the items you need. You can pretty much try out any build your mind conjures. And there will be a lot you'd wanna try! That way you will know what skills works and what skills don't work. Also there are console commands ingame with ` then iroll20s then there is a console command that spawns monsters. So for Guardian of ukaizo it would be spawprefabatmouse cre_ukaizo_guardian. That way you can test your new build in how it handles different kinds of enemies.
  7. Oh man, I'm super tempted to share my op as heck build to everyone but I'm afraid Obsidian might see it and nerf it to oblivion. What to do... I think I might just do a teaser! Build Overview: Can solo 1.1 potd difficulty with Level Scaling Mod (can be downloaded from nexus mods, highly recommended). It is built to outlast the enemy while still maintaining respectable damage. It's basically the God of Attrition. It does not use any op based arcana/alchemy scrolls and potions which I think will be nerfed hard in the coming patch. With Berath's Blessing, I'm running 18 might, 18 perception, 18 intellect and 8 on everything. So it ends up to 20 might, 20 perception, 20 intellect and 10 on everything. Lore: She's a female pale elf hailing from The White that Wends. A frigid soul in a cold barren land. She wanders around aimlessly, unknowingly guided by the Cosmo. Always alone but determined, she gazes towards the coal-black unflinching sky, her treasured flute by her side. At a distance spanning mountains wide, there is fire and warmth. A caravan can be seen, perched upon the snow capped mountains, the smell of barley and ale, the jovial atmosphere and the loud chattering of kith resting after a long day's travel. Unmistakably, the group of kith starts hearing a faint but sonorous melody. Their once loud chattering stopping abruptly as if the time itself has stopped. Even the previously biting gale lays still, replaced by the echoes of a forgotten past, yearning for a distant future. It ceases to be heard as the stars appear in the sky. And just like that, this band of weary travelers have bared witness to a famous bard's tale only thought to have been a legend.
  8. So far, I've made 3 builds that can solo 1.1 POTD with Level Scaling Mod (you can get it in Nexus) Once you get the game, it's pretty easy to make broken builds. My builds don't even need the op arcana/alchemy based builds. The thing is, I would stay quiet because Obsidian is known to look at forums and nerf abilities of the posted builds. Maybe once all the patching is done, then I'll share my 3 builds. It looks like no one has made any of my 3 builds yet so I'm pretty happy about that as it means what I thought of seems to be unique.
  9. Volt, how does this build fare against the last fight with guardian of ukaizo and 2 titans + other mobs? Because I feel you would run out paladin resources and rogue resources before killing all of those units.
  10. anyone know console command for spawning enemies? i want to spawn in guardian of ukaizo.
  11. Ok got it to work. What you do is you reload the auto save in Ukaizo and it should give you the achievement. Still a bug nonetheless
  12. I've just done this quest now to recreate your problem. In the quest journal, it says to signal so that the Principi Fleet go with you but that is misleading. If you talk to Aeldys you will find otu that you need to meet her at Ondras Mortar. And then you just cant click towards the storm. You first towards Neketaka, then have your mouse point in incremental bits towards the storm where you will see plenty of ships are. If you just click Ukaizo or where the storm is it will give you that red \ sign on your mouse but its just the game bugging out. So you have to go there incrementally. Keep clicking your mouse until you arrive to where all the ships are. Ive just done it so it should work for you
  13. Strongest 2H List for people who want to 2H: Nemnok Staff > Wahai Poraga > Whispers of the Endless Path and use Falcon Helm + Devil of Carroc Breastplate for insane weapon speed (2s)
  14. So the dance of death quest paper goes, "use the signal to sail with the principi fleet". I talk to Aeldy's and all she says is we will meet at Ondra's Mortar. So I sail alone from Dunnage to Ondra's Mortar and there I find out Principi is battling Rautai. I cleared the Rautai Fleet and go to Ukaizo. The Dance of Death gets completed but I get 0 achievement?
  15. I'm surprised no one has mention the super OP Nemnok staff yet. That's the only reason I would go two handed right now
  16. Yeah, this happened to me too. She just went missing?
  17. hmmm whats the status in your main quest? what does it say?
  18. You don't just click Ukaizo in the map. That's not gonna work. Rather, do you see the big storm in the map that covers Ukaizo? Go to one of the fringes of that GIANT storm and there should be a scene that will play out. It will ask you if you really want to head over to that storm.
  19. just sail by yourself to ondras mortar? as long as you have junk + dragonwing sails + blackwood hull, you can get there
